With books stacked in piles all over the floor and papers scattered everywhere, it may look messy, but she knows where everything is. And she likes it that way. So please knock, and don't touch anything without permission.

Katie walked into her room. As she made her way through the clutter she yelped slightly as she stumbled over a book. She sighed, "I thought I put you... oh, never mind," she said to the book. She picked it up and put it on a smaller stack and said "Stay," before plopping down on the bed.

Katie woke up and, realizing she'd fallen asleep, rolled out of bed. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and looked around, not totally aware of where she was for a moment. She ran a brush through her hair and headed out of her room to look around some more.

Katie walked in her room again and looked around at her books. It seemed strange to her to go from the huge library to the small room. She walked toward her bed and stumbled over a book. Looking down she said, "You again? This is the third time I've had to put you back." she picked it up and put it on the same stack as before. "Do I keep moving you without thinking about it?" Or has someone been in here... Wait, why am I talking to a book? she shook her head and sat down on the bed.
