Kyuzaku is very different looking than many of his peers. In a crowd, he'd easily be identified by his blue-grey skin and black eye and gill markings. His face, while reportedly handsome, is usually covered by a dark blue cloth face mask, and his forehead his covered by a matching dark blue ninja headband with long tassles extending off the temples. From the top of his headband is a spiky fin of blue-black hair that enhances the effect of his already-intimitating height.

Kyuzaku wears a variety of Kirigakure ninja clothing sets. However customized one day's outfit might be, there are a few key pieces that are consistance through any outfit. Kyu usually wears a black ninja-net undershirt, covered with a black Kevlar Vest. Kyu usually wears striped arm and leg warmers, a common accessory amoung Mist ninja. Kyuzaku has normal ninja sandals in black. His greyish ninja-tool satchel is attached to his brown leather belt on his left side.

When wandering around the village, he's usually seen in midnight-blue or black pants, where the bottoms are held down with the leg warmers.

Mizu are very odd and dangerous. There clan is born with an affinity for Chakra elements that normally take years and years to train.
Mizu begin with two affinities (ie they can't choose), Water and Wind.
This makes them very good with Ice, which shares both affinities.

-Description: The user learns that the human body has artificial limits set upon it to keep itself safe. It will not exert 100% of it's true potential for doing so causes muscle to tear, bones to crack, and blood vessels to erupt under extreme pressure. The first gate increases that limit, allowing the body to unlock more of it's potential.

-Effect: You may activate this perk at any point during battle as a Half Action. +50 Taijutsu attack/defense power and accuracy.
Every turn this is active make a resilience check vs 0 (every round after this vs rises by 25). Failure de-activates this and causes you to take Physical Strain (Rank 1)[x]. If you are already Physically Strained, move up one rank.

If Five turns pass after activating this and you have passed all resilience checks, then the bonus granted by the Gate of Opening is Negated, and you take Physical Strain (Rank 1)[x]. If you are already Physically Strained, move up one rank.

If you activate another Gate prior to the end this bonus, you do not lose this bonus and you do not gain Physical Strain (from this Perk). The new gate instead imposes it's own effects on top of this ones (resilience checks to keep active reset to the new gate however).

A small shard of mirror from a legendary building called the shadow temple that was said to have entrapped thousands of the deads shadows within. These dead learn to mimic whomever dares look into their reflective surfaces, creating the perfect opponent. It is said that only 3 exist in complete form any more.

After completing the technique, the gate reseals, and he looses the speed and power boost that was needed to use that technique.

In effect, it prevents the user from using there last-used jutsu, along with causing damage directly to their chakra.

The user initially uses the ice-making abilities of the technique to make pointed scales. The spikes fire from the user's forearms at the opponent like topedoes, and as the spikes get closer to the opponent, something astonishing happens from within! From the center of the ice spike grows a vibrantly colored jellyfish. The nearer to the opponent that the ice-spike and accompanying jelly gets to the opponent, the bigger it gets, evident by the trails of flourescent color behind each spike. If the ice spike makes contact on the enemy, the damage is minimal at best, but the tentacles fling forward at their skin due to inertia. The stingers on the tentacles makes an irritable star-shaped chemical burn on the body. The venom that seeps through the skin causes a sense of itchiness all around the entry point. Mild visual hallucinatory effects come along with the package as well. The combination of the two symptoms make it difficult for the enemy to direct an attack.

---Description: Lawless Star is Kyuzaku Hoshigaki's signiture technique. Origionating from the ability to summon starfish, the user summons the aid of a giant starfish. It grows to a five foot diameter, then calcifies into a bone-hard shell of its previous spread-eagle shape. A small amount of extremely sticky line of mucus connects the tip of one of its arms and the center of the user's palm.

From there, the user will use this giant starfish as a massive shuriken. When thrown, it flies with the noise of a passing gust of wind. Its massive size allows it to hit a huge area. Furthermore, the track of mucus that connects it and the user allows him to curve and control the path of the massive sea star, then bring it back to potentially throw it again.

---Description: Demon Shark Reflecting Pool utilizes the Summoned entity konwn as Rippuru, The Battlefield. When the user begins this technique, he walks out onto the center pond, and hovers just feet over Rippuru's 'heart'. The user uses Water Clone Jutsu to make a total of seven clones (or eight images of the user). The user and his clones each form the same hand seals, in unison. Once finished, each image of the user has summoned up a massive iceberg roughly the size of a small house, made up of frozen primordial soup granted by the user's Tattoos. Each of them smash the iceberg into the sea-creature covered ground, and it instantly melts and washes away a semi-circular pool ten feet deep with a ten foot radius. The entire surface area of the hemisphere generates an array of sea creatures. Promptly, the pools freeze over with a few inches of solid ice.

From these eight solid reflecting pools and the clones hidden within, the user can mount attacks from any angle. At the same time, he can shuffle himself with his clones by jumping from pool to pool. Neither he nor his clones are affected by the ice covering his pools; the ice acts exactly like water for him. Additionally, if an enemy tries to escape the range of this jutsu, following them is as simple as creating a new ice chunk, and directing it after them. One swift shark-jump, and the user or his clone is right by the enemy once more. This can be folllowed up by a clone preparing his own iceberg, and then another, effectively leap-frogging from new pool to new pool.

He promptly smashes it into the ground, creating a sizeable crater. The ice begins to melt instantly. The ice seems to hold much more liquid than expected, and water floods the crater and drenches the battlefield. From this slick watery substance grow thousands upon thousands of sea creatures that quickly cover the entire battlefield. At the center, where the glacier intially penetrated the ground, is a pool of water with a small orb of ice that has an eerie reddish glow from within. Inside this crystal ball is the heart of Rippuru, the single conscience that controls every sea critter connected to it. From its spot at the center, Rippuru can use many of the user's jutsu, or replicate them in its own way by manipulating the sea creatures that make up the battlefield.

With the speed granted by the flickered gates, the attacker then dives right into a quick roll that put him directly behind the opponent. The martial artist then directs a series of swift hits directly to the spine and the surrounding muscles. The preciscion and power of the hits leads to temporary paralysis due to the back muscles involuntarily locking up.

As a side note, this jutsu doesn't inheritantly require the use of the Eight Gates. If the user has enough speed, they too can complete this move without tapping them.

Ice-Element Chakra layers the skin of the forearms, making them tingle slightly like they have goosebumps. When the user tenses those muscles, the ice-element chakra transforms into a coating of ice spikes all around the forearms. Each spike is hard as steel, and sharp as glass. Furthermore, ice generates a cuff over the hand, with spiked knuckles. This adds considerable strength and power behind any taijutsu strike. After the attack connects, and the user unclenches their fist, the ice shatters and reforms back into chakra.

When a Hoshigaki Clan-member taps into these skills, they have access to certain senses that normally only a shark can have. Enhanced underwater vision, extreme olfactory senses, and the ability to detect the minute electrical pulses made by muscles are included in this package. When a Hoshigaki activates this jutsu, their pupils dilate to the max, making their eyes completely black. With the sudden rush of information, the user's brain works harder to catch up. As such, they experience a brain-boost as well as the sense boost. Oddly enough, this skill isn't a complete gekkai-genkai. Although non-Hoshigaki do not have the organs for certain aspects of the skill, such as electricity sense, a normal human can still benefit from the enhanced vision, smell, and brain power granted by this jutsu.

When a lot of pressure is put onto those points, it bruises the chakra pathways, causing the victim to lose control of them. Chakra quickly escapes from the victim's pathways, similar to releasing an exhaust valve on a high-pressure pipe.

By utilizing the wind stirred up by the spur, the ninja using this jutsu can move at incredible speeds, and float up to three meters in the air without breaking a sweat. In addition, Icy Winterspur is relatively quiet; the sounds of flowing wind beneath the user's feet attract little attention to the untrained ear.

---Description: Rippuru's 'body' consists of thousands of tiny sea critters. It takes up a good portion of the battlefield. His monstrous size allows him to attack from almost anywhere, given that he attacks with sea creatures. Chilling Stinger-net is one such technique. From below the enemy appears a fleet of jellyfish. Each jelly is encased in a spear of ice. Together, they are fired upwards at the enemy. As they fly by, their long, poisonous tentacles create a large, wildly moving net. If the enemy is stung by one of these tentacles, it releases a unique toxin into the victims body that connects his body to Rippuru's. If Rippuru receives damage, it can send some of it directly back to the victim of this specialized poison.
