It had been sometime since he'd gotten out of the house, normally locked away with his mountains of books studying about topics that he would never see firsthand. Everything from bungee jumping to skiing to impressionist arts, all things that he liked but hadn't ever tried his hand at. He was content to continue on just like that, not wanting to push anything, not wanting to risk anything, content with the life of a shut in.

Then it arrived... it being a strange letter that seemed to be a summons to the address contained within. He had read it over a few times, set it aside, then came back to it a few times when he had time between passages in his books. It was a strange sort of summons... and after a while he found himself finally getting ready to go out. A shower had been in order, fresh clothing, and then he was on his way to the strange address to see what the people needed... if he were lucky it wasn't some sort of trick, not someone that wanted to kill him for whatever reason, and nobody that he owed money to.

After a time he showing up at the door to the address on the letter, checking it over, then nodded as he moved to knock on the door before slipping inside, "Um, hello?" He called out, looking from side to side, curiosity showing on his face.

William turned toward the voice, looking at a girl with a rather interesting hair color, before giving a smile of greeting, "Hello." He said to her, walking closer to the desk she was sitting behind, "I got this strange letter in the mail, it came from here and requested that I come in." He said, reaching into the pocket of his jacket, unfolding the letter which had been replaced in its envelope to show it to her in case she wanted proof that he had in fact been given a letter.

"It sounded... well strange, I figured maybe it was junk mail but on the off chance it wasn't something like that I thought I would bring it in." He continued, waiting to see how she responded.

The man blinked a couple times then lifted a hand up to scratch the back of his head, "Ahh... sorry, I didn't meant insult." He said quickly, the last thing he wanted to do was to upset anyone and to find himself already doing so reminded him why he rarely left the house, his lack of people skills, "So, I was specially selected? What do I need to do?" He asked, hoping that to do what was something within his power and would make up to the woman for the fact that he said the wrong thing.

The idea was a strange one, to pick a gender and how much time and energy he had... he thought on it a moment, "Ahh... perhaps a male, I am not to terribly good at dealing with females." As though that weren't already greatly apparent in the way that he was failing at dealing with Kayen. He gave a bit of a smile, "As for that... well... I suppose plenty of both. I work from home so its not as though I have a job that would call me away from the house." He had no idea what he might be getting himself into with such an answer but it was true, working from home gave him plenty of time to deal with... well... whatever was thrown his way as far as a child from this place was concerned.

He wondered if with his answer he might end up with a high energy son? It could be, though the thing she'd said about children bred with specific dna types did have him wondering what on Gaia that could mean, he supposed that he would see soon enough.

William went wide eyed as the... child of sorts returned with the woman, it was a strange sort of mix between a toddler, a dog, and a... hell if he knew, two headed dragon...? He starred at it then gave a cry of surprise, "Ah! Its... he... hes eating something! Something alive!" He said, sounding shocked as to why the woman didn't seem to be taking the furry... thing... away! Surely that wasn't what they fed their dog-dragon-children around here, was it? He sure hoped down, he doubted that he could handle feeding the kid that daily.

The strange looking boy lifted his gaze to stare at William, certain the guy had lost it before he spat out Tasty into his hands and held the thing up for him to see. Tasty was fine, Tasty was tough, and despite being soaking wet with slobber as though it were a tennis ball Tasty seemed to be quite happy. He gave the critter a toss into the air and one of his other heads caught Tasty, drawing another sound of shock from William.

The boy turns his ears forward and both of his hydra heads looked over at William, then as what seemed to be their idea of a collective joke the two hydra started to toss Tasty back and forth while the critter seemed to be purring and chirping in delight all the while at the game... whereas William looked on the verge of a heart attack...

Hydra and werewolf...? That didn't seem as though it were terribly safe to mix together, it made him wonder whose idea it might have been to do such a crossbreeding... and it had him wondering for a moment how exactly they crossbred the kids. He chose to shove that thought completely out of his mind instead of asking it, not wanting to know even in the least bit. What Hydra and Werewolves did in their down time was none of his business.

"Well... if... its not going to be eaten then... I guess its alright?" If the thing liked it surely he would be able to deal with seeing it getting chewed on all the time right? And the fact that it helped keep the kid from going off chewing on other things helped, especially since he had plenty of things back home that he really didn't want to see getting chewed to shreds, "Alright then, so... the Fuzzykin is coming with us then as well. What does it eat? ... On that note what does a kid of his breeding eat?" Hydra and werewolf, why was his picturing a raw side of beef being devoured by the kid who had retrieved his pet and was once more chewing on it.

The boy was starring at the one before ears forward, tail up, and he found himself wondering about the guy. Seemed skittish, wouldn't be the best alpha would he? He shrugged, "Goin 'ome wit 'im?" He asked, voice muffled and a bit hard to understand as he tried to talk around Tasty.

William starred at the Fuzzykin, finding the list of its preferred foods to be a little odd but at least it sounded as though it would be useful around the house for dealing with leftovers and the dust bunnies that were always trying to take over his bookshelves, "I see, alright. That I can deal with." He said, looking at the boy more closely when he was told what he ate, feeling relieved when it seemed that he would eat cooked food. He'd been worried there for a moment.

"Space to run and play outside? Alright, I think I can do that." There was a park near to where he lived that he could bring the boy he thought to himself, it would give the kid plenty of space to roam in. He would just have to get used to the idea of going outside more often then he would normally want to go out. He could do that if it were for this kid, right? Surely. William nodded to himself, "Yeah, I can certainly do that."

Lore looked between the two taller people, up at his hydras, then shrugged. He supposed all this talk did mean he was going home with the guy. Could be interesting, he would need to see how things played out before he decided if he liked the man or not. So far his thoughts on him were quite neutral.

The boy's eyes went instantly over to Apoxi as he heard her voice and his tail set to wagging rapidly behind him, ears turning toward the sound of her voice fist and then the rest of him. He could smell it, food! Food was here! He went trotting away from Kayen and William over to where she was standing, a happy sound escaping all three heads as they each got scritches from the nice woman.

Their attention was then on the tray, all their eyes going wide. Tasty was spit out from his mouth and placed on his shoulder to wait for when he needed his chewing friend again before he reached out to grab up a hamburger for each hand, his heads each grabbing one side of the same fish, pulling it in half before happily chewing. As their chewed on the fish the boy stuffed the hamburgers into his mouth, barely doing more chewing then was necessary to get the food to the back of his mouth before he swallowed it much like a dog would, "Its good!" He said, reaching out to gulp down some of the other food, seeming to be quite pleased with it all, even the fruit was inhaled just as quickly by the three heads.

The display of their eating power had William starring, eyes wide. That was a touch disturbing... but at least the food was cook, right? That he could handle feeding the kid well enough he thought to himself.

From time to time a piece of food, a little of everything, was fed to Tasty who cooed and chirped while eating its portion of the food, not caring at all that the boy hadn't washed his hands before digging in or before feeding his pet... then again if the thing could get away with eating dust bunnies William was sure a few germs weren't a problem. After a short time, and a moment of the two heads licking the tray just to make sure every scrap was dealt with, the boy backed up and all three heads gave simultaneous burps. The reaction to the loud chorus of sounds being Tasty making a sound like a laugh.
