Orpheus looked over the notes that he had on the clipboard before him and he couldn't help but to chuckle, "I seem to be getting a lot of snakes of late." He said, not that he minded at all. In fact he rather liked them since they were easy enough to make a class for and they didn't fly! The best part was that they didn't fly, he always seemed to have flying classes that went awry for some reason or another. Anything from crash landings, to fighting, and so on. He gave a smile as he sent out a note to the parent where to have his student meet him and when, a terrain room that was decorated to look like a field, complete with knee high grass and flowers, no rocks to worry about tripping on... if snakes could trip that was.
A day later things were prepared, a class he used a lot to test the scenting ability that the snakes all naturally had as well as their ability to track their targets by scent. All he needed now was his student. He walked over to the door of the classroom, walking out of it into the normal hallway, like an entirely different world then the terrain room he'd just been in, so that he could lean against the wall outside of it to await the one called Tryst. That was an interesting name and she sounded like an interesting type of snake he found himself thinking as he looked down the hallway in the direction of the elevator, awaiting her arrival and that of her guardian.

Rysha had received the note detailing the location of Tryst's first class with a sardonic smile before letting the girl know to get ready for tomorrow. Tryst had barely slept that night, she was too full of anticipation to settle down enough to sleep, but eventually she managed to.
She was woken up at an appropriate time the next morning by Rysha, who had prepared a nice quick breakfast, ensuring Tryst wouldn't be late on her first day of class. Dressed simply in a pale, multicolord wrap around shirt, Tryst's hair was tied back in a simple tail, her bangs falling forward to obscure her large, pale blue eyes, devoid of any whites. Rysha now held her hand as they proceeded towards the classroom she had been assigned.
Taking a step out of the elevator, Tryst looked around in avid curiosity. She'd never been to this area of D-Corp before. They were now in a hallway with a few scattered doors, and a man with frazzled orange hair leaning against a wall. Approaching him politely, Rysha gave him an appraising glance with a raised eyebrow. "Are you the teacher for Tryst, today?"
The girl studied him shyly, staying behind her mother and wrapping her arms and part of her tail around her legs, peeking out from around her thigh.

Orpheus turned his mismatched eyes the way of Rysha and Tryst when he heard the sounds of footsteps and he gave a smile, "Yes, my name is Orpheus Solon, and I will be working with Tryst today." He said, pushing away from the wall so that he could offer the woman a smile as well as his hand for a shake.
"We will be working on testing her sense of smell and, if you like, for this class at least your allowed to watch if you would like." It was one of few classes that allowed parents and he always gave them the chance since at this age his students were still young, some of them like Tryst, were a bit shy as well. It sometimes helped his students feel at ease when their parents were around, something that helped them do their best at their class.

Rysha smiled in return, shaking his hand a little cautiously. She was a little protective of her girl. "So the parents only attend the first class, then?" That made perfect sense, anyways. What parent would want to go to every one of their child's classes? Rysha would just stick around long enough to see the man, Orpheus, was functional enough.
"Your name is Or-fuss?" The little girl asked, slowly sliding from around her mother as her curiosity was piqued. "And my sense of smell? I can smell just fine." Tryst stated adamantly, arms crossed, suddenly feeling as though she were being found a little lacking.

"Yeah, normally only the first class though I have had a few special cases where parents have come for the second class as well though that comes later, normally after the students are already paired with their dragon partners." He explained before he turned to look down at the girl who was speaking to him.
"Orpheus, yes." He said, giving her a smile before he heard what she said about smell just fine which had him chuckling, "I believe you but its still a test we need to go through so that you can show me how good you are at using that particular skill." He explained, not having meant to insult his student or anything, "What we want to see is how in tune you are to what is called a Jacobson's organ, its what allows you to examine the air with your tongue." He demonstrated by sticking his tongue out, "I can't really do it that well but its that tongue flick thing that snakes can do, have you tried that before?" He asked of her.
