So I'm picking up on my former hobby of corsetting. Finally working my sewing machine, canvas and satins, and building my beautiful curve hugging curve building corsets.
Anyone else have any oddball hobbies?

Whenever I need to relax, I play a digital keyboard on my laptop. I usually play Fur Elise, it's calming.

I've always wanted to make my own corsets, but there's just so much that goes into it. Kudos to you!
I have done some costume making, that is fun. I've made several costumes over the past 6 years of attending anime boston. I love to make my own everything, whether it's clothes, food, or just things I can use around the house. Gardening is fun too.
But my main love is fish keeping <3 it's an expensive hobby and it can be frustrating as hell, but it's so worth it in the end when you have this perfect replica of an under water world in your house.

My friend has tried her hand at corsets.... they arn't the best though, but i think part of it is the plastic boning she uses....
but me and my friend both make dragons, jewelry, and belt purses.

I make jewelry too.
And yes, plastic boning does not work in corsets. It has to, has to, has to be steel.
Nilla you and me need to get together. I do 17th and 18th century costuming.

We do. We could sit and sew together and talk about our pets xD It would be fitting.
Side note: I was bored today so I decided to make a new skirt. It's pleated, black and cream colored. I'm nearly done but I need to add another pleat or two. I wish I hadn't already sold my sewing machine.

Why would you sell a sewing machine? Admittedly they're not easy to ship but it can be done and surely you have other ways to have gotten it there..... Also gaia on my phone!!
