awful thread title is awful. But! Hi, I have this pretty boy. He wants to join the Ukuucha'Wafalme, and he needs a lady to take with him. His name is Sipho. Personality: Suave and self-possessed, Sipho knows who he is, what he wants, and stops at nothing to get it. Ambitious and cunning, Sipho is ruthless in pursuit of his goals and can come across as very cold. The truth is that he's a dreamer; a creature of many passions, who feels with an intensity, and refuses to let anyone or anything get in his way. Sipho wants what Sipho wants. Sipho is happiest when Sipho gets what Sipho wants. Strong and proud. Manipulative and devious, but not unnecessarily cruel; Sipho's morals are slightly twisted. While a bit of a liar and a schemer himself, it is honesty and goodness that he respects in others most of all. A staunch admirer of strength and spirit, Sipho does not reap any sort of joy out of fighting with or embarrassing his fellow creatures, and would sooner lift them up than knock them down. This pertains especially to those people who manage to touch his heart. Sipho loves what is his, and protects what is his. By any means necessary. An older lion, raised by his grandmother, Sipho has loved and lost and lived. There are ladies in his past. Some of them lovers. All of them fondly remembered. He is, it is true, a bit of a romantic.

I can offer up my lioness, Xingyun Zhong. I haven't RPed her yet, and the only plot/background I have set up for her is that she's one of Mlinzi's adopted (then abandoned) cubs. I've decided on her personality being kind-hearted and kinda timid, but a huge klutz with terribly bad luck. Because of said luck, I've been thinking of having her end up becoming a banu in the U'W. xD So if you're interested and you think he can put up with her mistakes, I'd love to offer her up.

AAAAW YES heart I'm totally interested. She is adorable, and I think they could be adorable together.
He'll probably be kind to her, if a little bit... pushy, almost? Not cruel, but I imagine he holds his ladies to a certain set of standards, and he is good to them so long as they don't go out of their way to piss him off. Accidents are different, though. He won't belittle her for being clumsy, though he may try to help her become more graceful?
She is very endearing, and I think he'll like her a lot.
hmmm--- do you think he... sort of 'captures' her, and brings her to the UW with him?

If you were open to him having more than one Banu, I have Mamanbou, a wandering lioness on the run. She can be a little bit sassy at times, but on the whole she just wants to settle down somewhere and be safe, hopefully with a mate that can keep her safe. She has a mad killer (of sorts) that is chasing after her ( he'll never catch her). It hasn't been RP'd out yet, but basically an old friend when crazy and wants to kill her, and that's why shes on the run and hasn't settled down yet. If she finds a male that she thinks can keep her safe, she'd definitely go with him.

Sipho is the type to take on more than one Banu, and he would be more than happy to protect Mamanbou. heart Eeee I am so excited.

Hm.... do you care if Xing has really light seer abilities? (i.e. they almost never happen, but they are, technically, there.) *can't decide on something*

She can have whatever seer abilities you like. 8D Honestly, that sounds like a pretty awesome plot tool we could play with. SO I SAY YES.

Mamanbou is definitely up for it. I've been wanting to get her settled for a while and I was looking for the right kind of personality.

We should do RPs! Actually, we should plot first.
Does he find these girls at the same time? Do they hate each other, or were they traveling together?
Does he 'trick' them into traveling with him, maybe? ("There is safety in numbers, ladies.") And then lead them to the U'W and pull an, "OH I GUESS YOU ARE MY WIVES NOW" thing?
or.
He could find them one at a time?
i am open to suggestions! and am really excited about this.

I kind of like the idea of him being a bit tricksy and acting like he was just a friend and protector and then he's like, BTW, you're MAH WIFE!
Mamanbou would definitely get snarky about that, but she'd settle down.
He would probably find Mamanbou seperately, just cause she moves around so much and she wouldn't take on a female as a traveling companion because she'd feel like they were no use/dead weight

Tricksy would best with Xing too, 'cause she'd be gullible enough to believe that bad things would stop happening to her if she stuck around him.
So... separate meetings with the two ladies. Should he meet one first, and be traveling with her when he meets the second? Or will he meet the other lioness on another venture out of the lands? x3

and! that is a very good question. I am open to both ideas. Although, it might make more sense for him to already be settled in the UW with one of his ladies-- and then to go out, and bring the other back?

Either is fine with me. If you want to take care of Xingyun first, I'll try to get some of my other plots and flings wrapped up so I can focus when those two are settled in.
