Walking out from the office in the back of the store, she smiled at her newly decorated and organized fashion store. It just had the new store smell that drove her wild. She removed the sunglasses from her face and placed them on top of her head to sit. Outside was the lovely and bright sun making the town outside her store glow. On the radio that morning she heard about the weather and how it would be disastrously hot out for a while. Thank god I had new sets of a.c units put in before moving here. . The island had crazy weather, that she heard of but took the challenge anyways. As long as it didn't mess with her fashion shows or ruin her shop. She began messing with the clothes neatly folded on the racks and re-folded them out of boredom. Starting up stores were always slow at first. It was fine, she had all the time in the world.

 ❝ Citrus ❞▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ❥ o o o o o o o o Eyes wide. Mouth open. Citrus stared at the new tailor shop. This was nothing like what she had expected. This was different. This was new. This was not like Bianca's old tailor shop, which was just an old fashioned clothing store. This was a fashion store, with models and fancy dresses and all that. Defiantly not what Citrus had in mind. "Well..I came here to make money. I better get to it." She mumbled and pushed open the door. Inside was just as nice as how it looked outside. With bright lights and all. "Hello?" Citrus said, just above a whisper. ❥ o o o o o o o o▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Tatum sat behind the cashier counter in a tall chair, filing her nails. Thinking about heading over to the salon later and get a complete make-over. Or even running to the hot springs for a relaxation session. A bell sounded as someone had entered her marvelous store. She looked up with her green eyes to see a young girl enter. She looked like a startled mouse walking into lion territory.
"Hello, welcome to T.M.T. May I help you?"

❝ Citrus ❞▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ❥ o o o o o o o o Realizing someone had spoken to her, Citrus quickly snapped out of it and went back to her usual self. "Uh yes. I'm your new assistant. Actually no, I'm an old assistant. Well sorta. I worked for this tailor shop before. But then it closed and I got kicked out. But then it re-opened! As a fashion store. And I re-applied for it again. So you can basically say I'm new. Sorta. Ish." Oh shut up. She told her mouth. She was waiting for the lady behind the counter to say something before she realized she forgot to introduce herself. "Oh right! I'm Citrus. Name of a fruit. Nice to meet you." ❥ o o o o o o o o▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

The girl had experience she was looking for. She even worked at the same very shop. Well, before she molded into her own fashion paradise. She looked her up and down once and then smiled at her.
"Citrus hm?. . Welcome to the team of two my dear. Nice to meet you as well."
Tatum put her filer down and got off her stool to walk around the counter. She placed her hands on her hips and sized up the girl again. Hopefully by working her store the girl would latch on to her sense of style. Employee discount of course.
"Well, your first assignment as my assistant is to help me brainstorm on how to grab customers' attention. Ever since I opened, not many have showed up at all. I just think they don't know about me yet. I really want to run a fashion show too but i don't have any models and no money is being funded here and I'm not paying for the show."

❝ Citrus ❞▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ❥ o o o o o o o o Noticing the woman inspecting her, Citrus tied her purple hair back into a ponytail, so she could see better without all the hair in front of her eyes. "Well, okay. Since this shop just opened, not many people may have recognized it yet. The only good solution I know is to wait a while. Customers usually will come pouring in after word of this shop gets around to people. Just like my sister's flower shop. She already got a couple of customers, although its still slow 'cos not much people buy flowers. But if you don't want to wait, you could advertise. Like commercials and ads in newspapers and all." Citrus stopped to re-adjust her hair tie to make sure it was on tight since it was getting a little loose. "So, yeah, like I said, waiting or advertising is good." She didn't even realized how the woman looked like until she finished talking. She looked her up and down and came to a conclusion: the woman looked quite friendly and had a very nice sense of style. Not like her though. Nope. She normally wore her sister's old clothes despite how small they were. After getting enough money she'll go shopping for her own clothes. The ones that are way nicer. ❥ o o o o o o o o▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

She basically stated everything she could have thought of easily but decided not to be snippy about it. Tatum was hoping to get a little creativity out of the girl. She had a lot of work to do. .
"Wonderful ideas, Citrus. You know, I think you should wear more. . . Pink maybe? Or even, lavender. Or blue! Well. . It's had to match with your hair color. I just really like your name and what better way to dress?"
She chuckled as she turned away and started wandering around the store. She lifted one shirt and put it back, or a pair of pants and would put them back. Even now and then she would glance back at Citrus making sure she had the right image in her mind. She was finally able to bring together and outfit and brought it to the front counter showing off the pieces one by one.
"I like this outfit. I think it would look good on you and would fit your hair color too. What do you think?"

❝ Citrus ❞▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ❥ o o o o o o o o Citrus looked over at the outfit the woman held up. It was pretty nice. The colors matched quite well. And plus, purple was her favorite color, so she'd be lying if she said she didn't liked it. "I think it looks great! I love it." She picked up the purple top and held it in front of her body, checking to see if it'll fit. It seems to her it would fit. It didn't look too big or too small for her body. But then again, you never know. It may look like it'll fit when really it might not. "Should I try it out? Is there any change rooms nearby?" She placed the purple shirt back on the counter and, looked around the store, trying to find anything that looked like a change room to her. ❥ o o o o o o o o▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

She was delighted to see the girl approve of the outfit she matched up for her. This time, it would be a new employee gift. She could wear it about and model off her clothes line bit by bit and attract more people to her store. Oh my gosh! Citrus where did you get that adoooorable outfit?! Oh I just went to T.M.T. the best fashion store this island will ever see! Tatum smiled and sighed coming out of her daydream.
"Oh yeah, go try it on! There are dressing rooms in the back. Looks like a wall of velvety curtains and just slip behind one. Each stall has a full body mirror so you don't have to go through the hassle of going in and out of the changing stall."

She spotted the velvet curtains right at the back, just like the lady had said, and picked up the clothes, walking behind one of them to change. She kicked off her own clothes and put on the new ones. After placing the hat on her head, she looked at the mirror. She looked pretty nice actually, better than she had imagined. The clothes fit perfectly and she especially liked the scarf. She had always wanted one, but thought it wasn't worth it to buy. She may have changed her mind though. It was very stylish and it looked nice around her neck. She spun around to check her backside and that was when she noticed her hair. Yes, that was the reason she liked the clothes most. It matched really well. Her purple hair with the black and purple of her clothes. She took one last look and stepped out of the dressing room, walking back to the woman. "What do you think?" She spun around again for the woman to see. ❥ o o o o o o o o▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Tatum was relieved when Citrus didn't call her ma'am. That would have really urked her nerves. Ma'am meant an older woman. She was young and beautiful. Not an old out of date model. She watched her new coworker head into the back to the dressing rooms and waited out front. Her eyes watched as a few NPC's would pass by but none had come into her store. She went back behind the front counter and started surfing on the web about the island she was currently inhabiting for the time being. Her eyes brows raised when she saw something about a magic shop. She thought about going there sometime and buying a charm or two that would attract more customers to her store. Seriously, does everyone mend their own clothes or. . buy them online? Tatum sighed, frustrated but straightened up when she heard Citrus return in her new outfit. She smiled wide and clapped her hands together.
"Wonderful. You know, I thought your hair color was very odd but I think we'll work it like no one has ever seen. Lemme see you twirl mama! C'mon, work the floor!"

❝ Citrus ❞▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ❥ o o o o o o o o Citrus twirled around once more for the lady to see. "My hair color wasn't naturally purple actually. It was a light brown color. But then there was this accident at home...something that had to do with purple paint and how it ended up in the shower." Citrus gave her a small smile. She didn't really like to talk about it much since it was a bit weird. Her older sister had brought home some purple paint to paint back some paint that was falling off in their washroom. Since the purple paint was old, the label on the bottle was faded and couldn't be read. That night, when Citrus was in the shower, she had thought that bottle was shampoo, and used it on her hair. Turns out it was permanent paint and couldn't be washed off, no matter how many times Citrus try. Her sister got in trouble afterwards. Citrus didn't mind the purplish hair after a couple of weeks, although it's still weird to walk downtown with bright purple hair while everybody else just haves normal ones. ❥ o o o o o o o o▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

She was impressed with the way she looked in the outfit. It would definitely be hers for free. Tatum felt good about her helping out the new employee. It was interesting to hear that she wasn't naturally purple-haired, but a light brown brunette such as herself. The poor dear. She couldn't imagine how she would feel if she suddenly woke up with violet hair one morning.
"Don't worry about it. I am very fond of unique things. Consider the outfit yours, free!"
The was the interuption of a desk phone ringing in the shop. Tatum rushed to the front counter and picked up a wireless phone to answer. Her head nodded a few times and said 'mhmm' and 'okay'. Finally she hung up the phone and began to grab her belongings all collected in a stylish shoulder bag.
"I have to run out for errands, Citrus. Mind watching the shop for me?"
