Clan Description: the only identifying distinction between clan members and others isn’t noticeable until their blood is shown which is black to rust red in color.
Clan History: the Kuro Hagane has been kept fairly quiet by choice. This was a decision by its founding shinobi who decided not to fully reveal themselves to the kagekage until they had perfected their art as to seal their importance in the village.
Kekkei Genkai Name: Hagane no Chi (Steel Blood)
Kekkei Genkai Effect: A trait that shows up usually at the beginning of the teen years. There have been rare cases where pre-teens have displayed the gift usually after a traumatic or intense moment. It’s the ability to manipulate the blood in the body to harden up to various degrees, unlike most individuals the clans blood cells are prokaryotic making the tougher and allowing for faster replication depending on the users capabilities. As such they are hardy clan and born physically fit. The most common use is general defense the whole body can be hardened fairly well while, a fist, foot, or smaller areas can be hardened to much higher degrees. At the more advanced levels blood can be manipulated outside the body upon physical contact or close proximity

1. Acknowledgement- becoming aware that can feel your blood the way you gauge a breath. Generalized hardening aka Blood Shift and “Bloody Dagger” become useable.
2. Enlightenment- full tuned to the presence of your blood and blood like it. (I.e. other Hagane no Chi members). You can feel your blood inside other receptacles other than your body. Allowing for it to be formed and flung. “Bloody Needles” “Bloody Blade” and enhanced Blood Shift allowed.
3. Complete Awareness- your blood has fully integrated into your chakra system. Your cardiovascular systems changes and your veins fade away as your blood diffuses directly into your muscles. This allows for faster use of techniques and tougher body structure.

The mitochondria are excited by the users chakra allowing for the manipulation to occur.
