I know how you feel, and i've never been one to be a 'love from a distance' type. Sometimes you can't help but smile, others I personally just want to tare the guy's eyes out. Then I just have meaningless sex and try to be hollow again.

Well...if you truly are happy, then maybe your happy because you'll see the girl you love happy with her boyfriend. And...you're glad to know she's with someone whose a good candidate?
