Mokovu padded under the stars that shone so brightly, it seemed the moon didn't want to show itself as it hid behind thin smoky clouds. A small breeze started to pick up as the night carried on to drop temperatures. He felt his body shiver as the night grew darker and soon the clouds started to even cover the stars.
He looked around at his surroundings, he was in a open moor that was covered with a few patches of trees and large rocks that leaned on one another to create caverns. He made his way to the rocks that promised some warmth and cover from the cold night wind that buffeted his fur.
As he got there he pushed his way through a small crack that opened up into a large cave that hid under the rocks. Inside a small stream of water trickled down the cave walls and into a small puddle. On another side was a bunch of moss that grew thick and lush, it seemed like a perfect place to rest for a few nights. He took his spot on the moss and laid down listening to the trickling of the water and the wind whistling through the rocks.
