Baridi Mokovu walked under the tree tops, they cast shadows all around him and not a single star shone through. He looked up to glance at the sky but the trees here were dense and gave no sight of the night sky. He sighed and walked on through the shadows. The closeness of the trees and the darkness of the night made him feel uneasy and restless. In a way he just wanted to get out of this forest but everywhere he turned was just more dense thick shadows.
He finally stopped to look for a place he could rest till there was light outside. He felt if he kept going he was just going to get himself lost deeper into this maze of trees. He finally spotted the roots of a large tree that seemed to open up to a whole in the trunk. He walked over and squeezed what he could into it and laid down. He kept his ears alert but eyes open as he tried to get some rest.

Ariikdasa was hunting for her own spot to settle down for the night. she was never one to stay in a area long so she was constantly finding somewhere new to sleep. giving a big yawn, she didn't realize that a pure white male was not too far hidden from her sight. if she had saw him, she probably would of avoided him since she didn't do well with strangers alot of the time. she was very skiddish around others after she had a bad encounter once, so she avoided other's when possible. though if the other came up to her she would be polite and try her best not to cause a problem.

Mokovu's eyes snapped open as he saw movement and heard someone else. He looked and spotted a dark red lioness with yellow and black markings decorating her pelt. He guessed she had not spotted him. He shuffled a bit to make some noise before he spoke so he did not startle her.
"Hello there"
He said softly as to not spook her, he would hate if she ran away. He remained laying down to show he was not a threat. He was a rather larger white lion with a thick white pelt, he did originate from the mountains. Even so he was as gentle as snow unless you agitated him enough to bring out his claws. He has yet to have any trouble with a lion or any creature for that matter.

Arii practicly jumped when she heard the shuffling but calmed soon after when she heard a voice to go with the noise. being skiddish it was easy to make her scared. " ummm hello." she was surprised that a rather large pure white male lion was still laying down when greeting her since she was use to others just coming up when speaking to her. " i hope i did not disturb you at all." giving a small smile, she relaxed since he defiantly didn't seem mean or anything, he seemed more of a softy though he was large in size. " i'm Ariikdasa by the way. what's your name?" she spoke in a soft voice on purpose though not too soft so she wouldn't annoy him.

Mokovu tried to contain his smile and laughter at the females shock of not being alone.
"No no you did not disturb me at all"
He said kindly as he nodded in greeting to her as she spoke. She seemed friendly enough and he was just as kind to those that treated him the same. Mokovu was happy to find company this very night.
"Greetings Ariikdasa I am Baridi Mokovu, call me Mokovu"
He said as he blinked at her. He wondered what brought her here, who she was, and where she was from. Most lions did not travel to these parts. The tress were too dense and often it was muddy and only darkness filled these parts.

" i am glad i didn't, and its a pleasure to meet you Mokovu." Arii was beyond relieved that he was so nice. it wasn't often she came around someone nice so she was often a little skiddish and guarded. she gave a small smile before sitting and curling her tail around herself. " do you live in this area?" she didn't know what else to say since she wasn't often social. if she could avoid being anywhere near another lion she was all for it but at the moment she was stuck but with him being nice she let her guard down.

Mokovu made his way closer, but not to close to scare her. He sat and soon laid down his paws nicely out in front of him.
"No I do not live anywhere currently. I have spent most my life travelling but I hope to return to the mountains one day." He said as he looked to where he was headed. Home. He had not been there since he was a cub when he was separated from the his family. Since then he spent his life travelling the lands and meeting others. He liked this way of life but it was becoming old. he just wanted somewhere to finally call home, somewhere he could always rely on to return and be greeted by familiar places. It was that emptiness that made his heart lurch.
"What about you?"
He said as he blinked out of his own thoughts. He looked at her curiously, she was clearly not from a pride or with others. Well at least from what he could tell but he could always be wrong.

(im sorry im so slow crying )
Arii wondered what would cause him to decide to travel but then again she was just the same when it came to traveling. but the difference was she had no where to call home, though lately she been thinking of settling. " i travel from place to place. i don't exactly have a place i return to that i call home." she looked up at the sky and gave a small sigh. "maybe one day i will settle down and call somewhere home." she had always wanted a place to settle down but her skiddish ways kept her from doing that since she preferred to be alone over having the potential of someone beating her for pissing them off. giving a sigh, she wondered if she would ever get over it.

Mokovus heart sank at those words, they sounded painful to him. Not the way she said it but what they mean. He at least had a home once when he was young when he became lost and never went back till now. He looked at the young beautiful lioness.
"Well this is just a friendly offer but I would be more then happy to have someone as company to the mountains, I hope to call it my home and perhaps you can as well" He said putting the suggestion out there. He was unsure if she would want too but he can only hope. He did not want to say goodbye to yet another friend. Besides his home in the mountains was his calling, his place. Maybe she would be able to call it home too. His paws started to itch at the thought of returning.

Arii perked up with excitement at the thought or having a companion and a place to settle when she wasn't roaming off. plus it would mean she could meet up with her other friend more often and that made her smile at the thought. " i wouldn't mind that at all. i think i really should be around more company and have more friends." now grinning, she couldn't wait to see area of mountains he lives at. she had never been to the moutains so this was going to be a great adventure for her if it ended up working out.

Mokovus eyes lit up with excitement, this meant a lot to know someone would be there with him during his journey. It made this trip a lot easier for him to travel with other paws by his side.
"Perfect! We will have to get a good hunt and rest in with plenty of water before setting off the land is unforgiving on the way but once were there we will be rewarded" He said with excitement as he looked at the lioness. This was the start of something good, the start of his new life and new journey. He pleased to finally say he was on his way home. He just hoped he wouldn't make a mistake like last time.

"ok, you have my full trust and i'll follow your directions." Arii grinned and followed his lead. she was more than trusting of him since he had been so friendly towards her and didn't seem like he would do anything to harm her. besides he had offered his mountain home to be her's as well and the lest she could do was be his friendly companion. she didn't think it would be horrible since he seemed so kind and gentle which helped her to trust him. still having a grin, she had high hopes she wasn't miss judging him. if it ended up he was actually bad and hurt her, she definitely would never trust anyone again.

Mokovus paws picked up his pace. He was finally on his way, back home. And he wasn't doing this alone, now he had her company and he was thankful for it. Ether she just visited for a while or stayed was good enough for him. He wasn't even sure what awaited him at home but he knew whatever happened he would stay.
He felt the cool mountain breeze pick up and it sent chills through his body. He slowed his pace to run by her, they would make this journey together.
Finished.
ooc//We can start up another once his pride is established feel free to pm me and I will let you in on some ranks I have planned if she wishes to stay
