Erynion had never been this deep into the forest before. He'd been warned to stay out, but curiousity had gotten the better of him. Every step he took forward, he swore he could feel someone else's creeping up behind him. Growls and howls echoed in the distance and he gulped, wondering if it would be best to turn around and go home.
He tried and he couldn't bring himself to turn around, afraid something would be there to meet his eyes with a fearsome grin of sharp teeth. He shuddered and closed his eyes, trying to chase away the monsters he was sure were coming for him.
Why didn't he listen to Lissa? Why did he have to come into the woods? Now he was going to be eaten and he'd never hear the secrets of a butterfly. He began to walk forward again. Maybe he'll reach the other side of the forest soon and he'll be able to get home by going around it. A moon hung heavy in the sky, its light caressing the tops of the trees, attempting to make its way inside to rest on the floor. His wings glowed and for once he wished they wouldn't so that he'd be easier to hide.

The lingering scent of a creature something young with vigor caught the attention of the black grinning stallion as the soft glow of his wings illuminated the darkened forest. He had been following him for a while though the colt seemed to not realize he was being cautiously watched. Truthfully, Sikine was biding his time waiting the right moment to intercept and to in all hopes frightened and scar the young colt. It was always amusing watching the face of such cheerfulness lose hope when they realized that they wouldn't be able to get way so easily though eating young colts was not of Sikine's caliber, don't get him wrong it wasn't that he couldn't eat meat just the idea of rather cannibalistic tendencies were of little interest. Instead it was much more amusing to ruffle them up a bit, some would send their parents after him however little help they did when facing him.
"You know its not safe to be out adventuring on your own little one…." Sikine replied with a rather overly friendly tone as he kept most of his own body in the shadows. He knew that just the sight of him would send the colt bolting so showing little of himself at a time keep them from taking all of his form in at once, it was never fun chasing after his amusement.

Erynion was sure he heard the soft sound of hoof-fall behind him, twigs breaking and leaves crumpling under weight. He hummed to himself, sure it was just his imagination over-reacting. His wings fluttered nervously and he was seriously regretting his decision to come here this late at night as well as his stubbornness.
'Just turn around, Ery! Turn around and walk home. Lissa won't be too mad at you.'
Erynion stopped and turned around and began walking back the way he came, trying to find trees and the like he remembered passing. The problem? He didn't recognise anything. Oh dear..
And then the voice called out and Ery wasn't sure whether or not he should be scared or happy.
"Yes, I k-know that now. I'm trying to find my way back but I seem to be lost." He kept walking forward. "I'm sure I'll be lectured about it when I get home. Good night."
