The Lost Kidō Scrolls
Herein lies the only remaining account of kidō, left behind by the old masters of the Kidōshū. They are incomplete, but important, as within them lies an enormous part of the Shinigami culture and power. To learn these techniques, you must have permission to access the library. After that, only your willpower and intelligence will protect you.

#21. Sekienton (赤煙遁, Red Smoke Escape)
By focusing reiatsu into the palm, and striking it against a surface, be it hardened air, or a more solid substance, the user may produce a large cloud of red smoke. This smoke is useful in facilitating escapes or sneak attacks.
#26. Kyokko (曲光, Curved Light)
The user focuses their reiatsu around their entire skin, but only in a single layer, then speaks the name of the spell. The goal here is to cause the light to bend around them, hiding them from view. Unfortunately, they will also be unable to see their enemy, but they can still sense them. Think of it as removing yourself from the dimension of light.
#30. Shitotsu Sansen (嘴突三閃, Beak-Piercing Triple Beam)
The user focuses their reiatsu into a chosen hand, then draws a triangle in the air in front of them, focusing on the three points, where the energy is meant to build. Upon speaking the name, they release their energy, causing three spikes to form, and pin the target to a surface.
#37. Tsuriboshi (吊星, Suspending Star)
The user builds their reiatsu into a concentrated ball, allowing it to become pliable and flexible, then fires it, speaking the name of the spell. The result is an explosion of a sticky cloth, that rapidly becomes soft once it has attached to at least three cardinal points, but preferably five.
#39. Enkosen (円閘扇, Arc Shield)
The user focuses their reiatsu into a ball at the back of their hand, or in front of them, then flattens it, forcing it to expand into a dinner-plate sized shield. This is often achieved by making a propeller like structure, and causing it to spin rapidly.

11. Tsuzuri Raiden (製本電, Bound Lightning)
The user allows their reiatsu to become wild, then sends it through a substance that can conduct electricity. This spell immediately converts the energy exerted into electricity in the form of chain-lightning, but lightning that is literally 'bound' to a specific structure.
31. Shakkahō (赤火砲, Red Fire Cannon)
A compressed blast of heat. The user focuses their energy into a ball, then lets it explode. This spell causes a large red blast of fire to erupt from a specific point. It may also be weakened by not speaking the name once mastered, to use as a light source.
32. Ōkasen (黄火閃, Yellow Fire Flash)
A compressed wave of heat. The user focuses their energy into a line, which explodes outwards like a burning shock-wave. This spell causes a horizontal line of yellow flames to fire outwards quickly, it may be facilitated by making a sword-slash-motion while speaking the name.
33. Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down)
A crashing wave of fire and heat. The user focuses their energy in front of them, then allows it to expel outwards. This spell causes a large wave, similar to a wave of water, and often as large as a small tidal wave, to crash forwards.
