Greenie 0_0 The winds had picked up by now, her wings were powerfully, fought the winds that pressed against her. The flight had begun uncomfortably getting worse. It was time to give in and land, it was only by coincidence that she had found a clearing. The same clearing she did not even notice was inhabited by a cerynei of mossy shades. The area was beautiful, covered in berry bushes high and low, showered with brilliantly green leaves, fresh on the branches and grass as green as if it were new and never touched. Then not to far off was a cave she seeked, as she came upon it she recognized the place. It had been covered over moons before, she knew her nature well and she stopped inside the caves entrance. Whom had cleared this place? She pondered thoughtfully and shifted a bit. She got an uncomfortable feeling was being watched. Nyx Queen of Darkness Arden paused as a glimmer of yellows, and oranges and green alighted in front of him. The wind was starting to whip, the drops quickening as he watched her feet thud into the moist ground gently. She was heading for his cave, his safety from this storm. Nature at times had moments when even she had to vent, to roar, to show her displeasure of her earth children. A shook out his antlered head, and cleared his head and shook off the drops. Approaching her gently, he hoped she’s share this place with her. After all, it was his place. As he got closer, put his herbs down at the entrance of the cave. “Welcome to my home,” he smiled tentatively.

The male approached suddenly, the weather changed quickly, a sudden down pour announced just the tidbits of the fear Nokomis felt, she was in the cave already and hadn't had to defend herself in a long time, the weather relaxed as he spoke though. His words were gentle, welcoming as he offered and she could hear the drops, still quick, lessen. Her wings, damp as they were, ruffled then relaxed. "Thank you, I was wondering who had taken the time to clean this clearing out.. It'd seemed long forgotten when I was here last." She turned slowly and smiled sweetly upon the cerynei. "My name is Nokomis, I am the ANgeni of Mother Nature, what is your name sweet Cerynei whom has let me stay here so far." She said slowly, testing the waters.
Nyx Queen of Darkness Arden smiled, good things were going to be pleasant. He had hoped they would be. Her hair glistened with drops of rain, shimmering and shining in dazzling beauty in the dank cave. "Thank you, I've tried only to better this place, rather than mess with it's beauty. But nothing I've done could have beautified it as much as your prescence." He lingered on her smile for a moment as he stored away his herbs so they wouldn't rot in the damp. "It's my pleasure Nokomis, I'm Arden, a healer."

Green Ever After Nokomis was pleased with his pauses. He seemed to take in each bit of her as if watching a forest, seeing not only it's leaves and tress, but the nature. The creatures personalities, habits and how everything seemed comfortably settled in a single place, it's home. Everywhere, so long as nature was provided was a home to Noko and thus she felt at ease here. The male, dubbed Arden, was sweet and easy going, he sent off no bells of alarm and thus there was no need to prepare a fleeing chance. "A healer? So you know your way around the herbs then?" This brought a very fond and knowing smile. She herself dabbled with herbs now and again, when time and a patient were available. Rainy days like this she was shocked he had been out. Perhaps letting them get a little more to drink would make them that more succulent? But she was no professional. "Is it something you enjoy, Arden?"

Arden smiled at her question, "It's very enjoyable. It's one of the most enjoyable things in the world." He watched her, the shadows glinting off her wings and throwing her sharp contrast in the cave. "What do you enjoy?"
Arden paused again, "Excuse my manners, is there anything you want? Water? Food? Warmth?"

She was startled by the sudden offer for something. Now that he mentioned it the chill of the rain had started to settle beneath her pelt. "Perhaps a little warmth? Our body heat alone in this cave should be enough, but it seems the rains settled a little deeper in my pelt than I thought." Conveniently as she said this a shiver wound down her spine and her teeth chattered slightly. Her smile was left unmoving and brighter than ever.
"I enjoy this." She stated, her eyes were thrown around, gazing from thing to thing. Nature was her pride and joy. "The flowers, the rain, the plants and so on. I enjoy every living thing really." Her eyes settled on him, showing he was surely included in the love she had for all living things. "But I guess that comes with being who I am." She chuckles softly.

"I'm glad of who you are then," he smiles before he rummages in the back of the cave. Pulling out a tattered blanket, he puts it over gently. "It's not the best, but it's something I got a long...long time ago."
For a moment, his eyes flickered to the outside, "It's nice to meet someone who's similar to me. "I can feel that you love nature as much as I do. Right?"

"Nature is in my blood." A simple, but very true statement. She breathed in deeply, the air was still heavy with droplets and she admired this lightly while he spoke of the blanket he now offered for warmth. She gazed at him sweetly, his eyes were so full of life and love it was unbelievable.
"That blanket will be just fine." She said, stepping closer to him so that they may share the piece of fabric. "You've had it a long time, what do you mean?" There had been a longing in his eyes, was there a story attached to this blanket.

Arden appreciates the warmth she lends to him as the tattered shreds of blanket covered them both. "I..." And what should he say exactly? I sold my soul to help a mare I didn't know. She was young, and fragile and Voodoo could help her. That I promised him anything and everything to save her. That I owed him, whatever he asked, whenever he wanted in exchange for the healing medicines he gave me. Healing that I was not capable of...That this was the tattered blanket Voodoo had said to wrap her in to heal. That some part of this still holds something I can't get rid of...That it's the blanket that covered the foal Acacia as I brought her back from the brink of death.
Pausing for a moment longer, he answered. "It was a gift from one I'm indebted to, whom I can never repay." His eyes come up to meet hers with sadness and longing.

His gaze, that deep penetrating sorrow worked it's way into her heart and she smiled comfortingly trying to find the right words before speaking. But all she could say was.. "I understand." She smiled again before looking away. Her body tensed and untensed slightly, her wings rustling in the silence and she takes a step towards the den entrance. She spied the angry clouds above through the pouring rain and admired them shortly.
"I can't believe how angry the day has become." She ponddered out loud, eye's glazing as she watched, a boom startled her and she rustled about again, calming herself. Then the sky lit up with a sharp bolt of lightning. She stared, eyes softening lightly. "It's warming up a little atleast." She turned to look t Arden again, a smile on her face. "Thank you for the shelter, I really appreciate it."

She understood? Did she mean that she understood because she was indebted to someone to? Or did she mean that she understood as someone who's not indebted can? He couldn't help the bitter tones in his mind.
The warmth radiating off of her and the gentle movement of her wings was soothing as the thunder rolled and the rain poured down harder. "I wonder what nature has to be so angry about," he mused gently.
He turned to her as she thanked him--compelled by some strange feeling, he nuzzled her neck lightly. "It's my pleasure to shelter you, to give you a harbor in the storm." He turned away, slightly blushing.

The touch, though brief helped to woo away the look he had in his eyes. She saw the temper rise and fall as they spoke, how could she understand something he had not explained? She could only assume the worse and could her eyes have softened more, they would have.
A large bolt of lightning struck and the whole cave lit up, during the illumination she spotted the stallion pulling back his head with a soft, glowing blush on his cheeks. Her heart skipped a beat and her own cheeks failed to hide a bright blush to match his. "The pleasure is all mine.." She quietly rhymed off.
Her eyes sparkled and she made a move forward, her heart skipping a beat once more before she leaned her head against his warm neck, she could hear his heart thump, thump, thumping away. It made her heave a deep breath, the moment was pure and beautiful. She felt absolute bliss.

Arden watched as the sky lit up with the storm. In the odd light, she seemed to move both slowly and quickly toward him. Her face laid gently against his neck made his heart thrum louder, and for once he felt the full effects of a storm--the urge to be closer to someone, to not be alone in a dark and torrential world.
He leaned into her, his head dipping just slightly not sure if he should dare say a word or not. For a time, he just stood there taking in the soft scent of her--like woods and flowers
"I don't think, I've ever enjoyed a storm like this..." his voice was soft as he leaned in close to her ear. "I'm glad I met you, and I don't think I've said that to anyone. Ever."

Another flash and crackle of the storm lit up and quieted the cave. Arden was pressing against Noko as she pressed into him, she took in a deep breath it smelled only of him, of the forest. She smiled to herself shyly.
"I have..." She said honestly, honesty was her best policy. "...but I haven't enjoyed it with another Soquili before." She blushed deeply
"I'm glad I met you too."
Her voice was quiet, and whispered to his ears. She hadn't shared such an intimate moment with anyone before. She took slow and deep breaths to preserve it.

Arden nudge her lightly, letting out a soft sigh. The storm was raging outside, increasing in it's fury--but something he'd never felt before was raging inside of his heart and stomach. It was an odd sensation like he'd swallowed butterflies or something, he felt light but also torrential like the storm. He coudlnt' have explained it if he tried.
"Tell me," he paused wondering out to ask her if she felt the same way. "Do you...feel it too?"

The pause, the sway of his voice and the sudden crash outside lead into his question. She felt a burst of heat at her cheeks as her pelt illuminated into a crimson blush. He was very, blunt, this made her smile in a silly manor and look up at him, her nose still slightly buried in his pelt. She hadn't known such a comforting smell, it was like he was one with the forest, which made him one with her. "Yes Arden.." Her words were a mere whisper, almost lost in the winds.
"I feel it deeply." A passion, that even she had never known was alight in her. The smile which had grown on her lips remained, her cheeks glistened and she allowed herself a silence while she closed her eyes and focused on her breathing to calm herself before speaking again.
"I have never felt this way before..." Noko imagined her heart bursting from it's chest and raining happiness for them. It was almost unnatural. "How about you... Have you ever felt this way?" She opened her eyes slowly and gazed to him, a twinkle in her eye that planned a permanent lodging each time she looked at Arden.
