Rules and Subforum/Charity Guide (MUST READ! NO MULES!)

Hey guys!
And welcome to the Elven Sanctuary!

Were a one of a kind guild that focuses on completing your quests while keeping you entertained.

Now a little history:
This idea was first stated as a charity thread in the charity forums of gaia, but i feared it was getting hard to keep track of and decided it would be best to move to a guild (i knew i sound weird with a guild being easier to manage then a thread, but trust me it is)
The guild was first made in march 2010, since then we have grown a great deal, We've donated MILLIONS! to people over the past year, and are still doing strong, dont believe me? take a look:

I found myself a wonderful group of crew members ~ and i wouldn't have been able to get this far with out them (thankyou guys!)

• NO MULE ACCOUNTS Do Not bring in multiple accounts and try to scam the users of this guild, it's disrespectful to me and it's unfair on the guild members. I'm trying to run a fair and fun gifting and charity guild and i dont need selfish idiots messing about with it.
  If you are found trying to get a mule in- or have a mule in the guild you will be BANNED no questions asked.
  If you want multiple accounts in the guild i want a good reason! and honestly you wont be able to convince me easily, so please dont try!
  
• Obey the ToS. No exceptions. If you do not follow the ToS you may be banned depending on the severity of your actions.

• Be respectful to your guild mates and Captain. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. Of course you can express your opinion but please don't let it turn into an argument.
  
• Please do NOT add the Captain, Vice Captain, and Moderators to your ignore list. It interferes with what they can do, impairing their ability to do their jobs.
  
• Be Active if you joined the guild with no intention of posting, i'm going to have to ask you to leave, we need members to be active and at least post in the guild once.

• No flaming. Everyone makes mistakes, and many people in this guild may be new. Just because they do not know how things work around here, doesn't mean you can flame them.
  
• No Begging Please do not beg to be a Moderator or a Vice. It gets annoying and can get on our nerves. This is a gifting guild yes, so ask nicly or let people know what you would like please dont beg.
  
• No Pornographic Material This is against the ToS and will get you banned.
  
• No Stretching No Stretching the page please. It can get annoying. If you want to post an image that stretches post a link instead or make it smaller.

What to post where, and what not to post where

Here we have the Charity Forum, inside we have a total of 7 running,
These include:
[The Sanctuary's Charity]- this is where you claim items for winning competitions in the guild.
[Full Body Dye Charity]- donate bugs and ink to get dyes.
[Event Item Charity]- only open during hoildays- in which gaia has events- passed event items can be claimed.
[Zomg item Chairty] - Donate Zomg loot inorder to claim items.
[Fishing Exchange Charity]- Donate fish to claim items
[Trade Exchange Charity]- donate rubbish to Claim items.
[Ticket Charity]- donate ticket/tokens to claim items from Prize and Joy

You can post links to other charity's that you know about or create your own charity's here,

Post your quest threads here, in the hopes that you will be donated to!
Have a look around at other peoples threads, and even help them out if you fell like it.
the most important fact out this thread is that each month the Sanctuary Donates to the first 10 threads in the forum,
So be sure to keep yours active as you could be the next to receive 10k

You can sell Items to fellow guild mates,

or what ever you think people would buy

this Forum is full of Competitions
Completing most of these means that you can get items from the Sanctuary's Charity
You can also create your own competitions-
in which you can use the Sanctuary's charity for the prizes,
be sure to ask me first tho.

Both these forums are used to hold monthly guild events,
The Top forum will regularly change name.
All events have prizes of there own prizes and comps,
Usually there is many ways to gain items during the event,
And it becomes easy to win things,
So for your best interest i would say check it out!

Charity Guide:

Claiming Items from The Sanctuary's Charity:
All competitions that you win in the competitions forum while usually have there prizes from the charity. (unless otherwise stated)
The Competitions that i run, will always have the prizes from the charity,
where as some of the other people that run competitions will have there own prizes- be sure to keep each thread so you know where your getting your prize from.
once you've won, Post in "The Sanctuary's Charity" thread, with the item from the list on the first page.
Yes that's right you can choose what item you win from the whole list,
Be sure to check that you can claim that item- as some of the more expensive/rare items require you to have posted a certain amount of times in the guild before you can claim them.
Once you've posted in the thread (with a link to the win), wait a total of three days for your prize- if you haven't received it, PM myself, Onacafeenhigh or Irishgirl1017, and we well sort it out for you.
You will usually receive the items through a trade, or as a gift from 'the Elven Sanctuary's mule'- however dont pm her as we dont always keep her)


Claiming rewards for Events:
You will normally find out via Guild announcements if you have won in the Guild events,
Once you see your username, post in the Event Guide with the item you want from the prizes list in that guide.
(There will usually be a link to the guide in the announcement)
First in best served with these prizes.

NOTE: in a lot of the events you gain trinkets that you exchange for rewards- now you have small rewards and big rewards:
Only claim Big items rewards that you actually want from the events, If you are caught selling the Big item rewards for gold you will be band from the guild.
I buy the items For those people that want them, who actually want to use them, and if you just want the item for the gold, DONT claim it- There are people in the guild that want the item for themselves, who will appreciated them better.
This is a CHARITY guild and not a gold making guild, what people have been doing lately has really been pissing me off!

Donating items or gold for prizes to the guild:
Send a trade, or gift to "The Elven Sanctuarys Mule"
this account hold all the items and gold for the Charity.
Please DONT donate to the guild using the home page,
We have more then enough funds to keep us going.

Donating to the other Charity's:
Send all Inks and bugs to "The Elven Sanctuarys Mule"
Send all Rubbish and Flowers to "The Elven Sanctuarys Mule"
