I thought the end was the best. The part about Batman refusing to be seen with him was epic.

Niven thought of this kind of s**t ALL THE TIME. I think this was in Neutron Star, near his story about getting in a champagne-cork duel with another writer.

The short story "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex" is legendary in the Science Fiction community. I heard Larry read it for an audience at a con in LA years ago.
