So I creates THIS for a Forumite-shipping thread on the MSPA forums.

Yes. It's a random ship creator program.

Either way, I created it to take file input, for the list of people and viable relationships for them.

(For reference:

• ♥ = Matesprit = Love-love. As in our normal concept of lovers.
  
• ♠ = Kismesis = Hate-love. Basically that person who you love to hate and piss off. Kind of an ultimate rival type thing.
  
• ♦ = Moirail = Best friends. That person you can always go to to get something off your chest, or rant to, and you'd do the same for them.
  
• ♣ = Auspitice = Mediated enemies. Bottom two would go into a Kismesis relationship, if left unchecked by the one on top.

Anyways, all you have to do to modify it for HA, is replace the text in ShippingList.txt with this:

Line 1 = number of people in the list.
Then list each person in the list on a separate line in this format:

NAME:♥_OK:♠_OK:♦_OK:♣_OK

where you put 1 for if that kind of relationship is okay, and 0 if it's not. Enjoy

I'm getting an error message:

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."

Also, your description of Moirallegience is a little off. A Morial is supposed to curb the natural violent tendencies of the more vicious trolls. It isn't just 'best friends'. (Reference: http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004301 )

Also, did you remember to load the shipping file when you started up the program?

Load the shipping file how? I tried double clicking on the .exe, dragging the text file into the .exe, and right clicking the text file, selecting 'open with', and choosing the .exe under 'browse.' None of those things resulted in the program working. >_>

There is no button labeled "Open Shipping List File". There is only a button labeled "OK", which I can click to indicate that I understand that the application failed to initialize properly. >_>

Or wait, are you getting this issue the second you open the program? Cause that's weird, if so.well, may as well start working on that Java version, I suppose.

EDIT: Apparently that error means you don't have the latest Microsoft .NET framework. Here's where to get it. http://www.microsoft.com/net/
