Time was passing by quickly, and the day to join the pride was upcoming. It filled her with great joy and she really had a hard time keeping herself occupied.
The sun was going down, the moon already taking its place in the darkened sky. It was like a beacon of light, almost like it was going to guide them. She took a
deep breath of the fresh air and smiled. Life was getting better, or at least it had been since she had found her love. Azrael as a handsome male, and he had a heart of gold.
He was far more protective of her than anyone else. She was like the innocence he wouldnt allow to become tainted. She looked over at the sleeping male, smiling as she padded
over on large paws. She pushed him with her paw, trying to rouse him. When he didnt move, she narrowed her eyes, but flicked her ears back and rubbed her cheek and neck against him
in an affectionate manner. She purred, a loud rumble from deep inside her chest. She smiled with golden eyes fluttered open, looking at her and the recognition passed across his face.
She loved him, he loved her, it was the perfect love story.
"Come on, darling. Come out with me for a stroll under the moonlight." She said, her voice breathy and dreamlike. She watched as annoyance flashed across his features for merely a moment.
He didnt mind, but waking up to do it certainly wasnt his cup of tea. He yawned, his tongue curling from his maw. He stretched his front paws out, stretching his muscles to remove the sleepy
feeling from them.
"Whats out there in the moonlight, Rashi? Its a bunch of darkness and sleeping animals. Something that.. we should be doing." He yawned again.
"Dont you ever wonder what it is you're missing when you sleep, Az? I do.. I do all the time." She whispered.

Unknown to the pair, another lion was watching them. His head peeking round from behind a rock, which had told him to go and look around the other side if it.
In reality he'd heard the voices but because he was the way he was, he'd convinced himself the Rock told him things. Told him that there was a pretty lioness on the other side of it.
Fraust smiled to himself and crept out from behind the rock, waiting for the female to pass his way. She really was pretty, and that male she was talking to seemed pretty lazy,
after all, a lot of lions hunted at night, it made it easier to sneak up on prey even in the open areas. Since Lions eyesight was 'naturally' far superior.
His ego still stung a little from his last encounter with a female but despite the now healing slivers of scars on his muzzle from her claws, he was still just
a big flirt. He even had a rabbit he'd caught that evening that he'd been carrying around. He'd not been hungry enough to eat it at that moment but didn't want to waste it
or leave it to vultures, the silly thing had almost literally sprang up from beneath his paws and instinct had kicked in. He felt a little guilt but now he'd seen the female,
he knew what he was going to do with it. He wanted to make sure the female was alone when she came close though so he stayed hidden until the right moment came.

The male was aware of the presence before Rashida did. He was too cautious to not catch the smell of another. He paused, lifting his head up as he sniffed the air. Why did she always
prefer danger? She was the type to wander up to a stranger and strike up a conversation.. Unknowing of whether or not theyd kill her in the end. No, Azrael figured that was what he had to
worry about. His sleepiness wore off whenever he stood, and took a step closer to Rashida. Little did Fraust know, that Azrael never left his mate unattended. He just wouldnt do it. It
was dangerous, and anyone could hurt her. He'd never forgive himself, after all, he was the protector.
"Where is it we're walking to?" He asked, looking at her with golden orbs, her own dark eyes glittering expectantly. Everytime he looked at her, his heart beat a little more wildly. He
had to keep himself breathing slowly in order to not get rushed into the feeling she gave him.
She shrugged, or at least the equivalent of a lions shrug which looked more like rolling her shoulders. She really had no set destination. She usually never did. She didnt want to go too far,
sleep was definitely somethings she couldnt avoid all night. Tomorrow was a big day! Tomorrow was the joining ceremony within the Ela Clans. It gave her a rush of excitement that like Azrael,
she had to hold within her.
"Who knows, does it matter?" She asked, though her ear perked when she heard the crunch of a twig and she paused, ears up and nose sniffing the land. Blood, the smell of copper and metal, caught her
nose and she took on a predatory look. She felt her belly rumble and she whined a little.

Fraust cursed silently because the male got up and followed the female, he'd been hoping to at least talk to her for few minuts before the male had arrived.
Ah well, he thought to himself and picked up the rabbit in his jaws, striding semi confidently towards them. He had no real veiws of 'personal space' so
he waiting until he was almost touching noses with the female before dropping the rabbit to the ground at her feet.
"Lovely night we're having isn't it!" he said with a cheeky, flirty smile. Obviously addressing the female rather than both of them. He grinned, showing his teeth
carefully and bent down, nudging the rabbit so it's lifeles body draped accross the female's paws. "Won't you join me in a bite to eat?" he flirted, almost purring
the words out. However confident he seemed he was ready to flee should the male prove overprotective of his mate, with whom Fraust was most obviously flirting.

She hadnt been expecting the black and blue lion to appear, and simply nudge the carcass of a rabbit over her paws.
She looked down at the rabbit, her belly growling and looked confused. It seemed the gods had heard her tummy growling.
Smiling, she dipped her head in a greeting. She was always very studious, very friendly. She didnt realize the other was
flirting. She wouldnt have been interested if she had known, but this made it easier for her to befriend the stranger with his
delicious gift.
"Oh thank you sir.You really shouldnt have! I really couldnt!" She exclaimed, rather caught of guard but not against the situation. Azrael however, looked the
male over with scrutiny. He lifted his head higher, obviously showing dominance over this male around his mate. His tail flicked agitatedly
and he walked to his mates side, eyeing the male.
"Yes, -sir-, you really shouldnt have." He said. He wasnt an aggressive lion, actually far far from it. But there were things he knew he would
die to defend, and it so happened that Fraust was standing in front of the one thing that he would do that for.
He heard the flirt tone in his voice, though he was sure Rashida hadnt. Otherwise, he would notice a blush on her dark cheeks as she declined and hurriedly scurried
away.
"Can I help you?" He asked.
"Oh Azrael. Not everyone is bad!" She said, remembering the goddess they had met that Azrael had been rather rude to, much to Rashi's dismay.

Fraust smiled pleasantly to the male. "please, take it, conside a gift my dear lady" he said turning back to the female,
"I'm Fraust and i am VERY delighted to meet you" purred, his smile wide and flase to the male when he looked over. Clearly
the other wasn't happy with his flirting. Fraust shrugged mentally, if they were a close couple it wouldn't matter anyway,
since the female wouldn't be interested.
"Madam, i assure you, it's alright i'm not hungry and i'd rather it didn't go to waste" he said to Rashida before looking again to
the male. "Surely you wouldn't deny your ravishing mate a meal would you...Sir...?" he drawled slightly the smallest of smirks across his maw.
Suddenly he blikned and turned his head to the rock, his ears pricked as though listening to something. He turned back to the pair and
his whole demeanour changed to that of relaxed amusement. "Help me? oh no thanks i'm alright" he said cherrily to Azrael.

Rashida smiled, and gave a little chuckle.
"Youre so friendly. Such a good quality in a lion. It was a pleasure to meet you Fraust. Im Rashida,
and this is-" She began introducing, but Azrael had a dark look in his eyes and he interrupted her voice.
Something he rarely ever did.
"Im sure he has to be on his way, dear. I just know he has other females out there waiting for him to come sweep
them off their feet." He looked at Fraust with a little smile, one that was indeed a more menacing smile over a happy
one.
"Azrael, Whats gotten into you?" She asked, anger on her features. He was always so against others.. It was like he controlled
her though she knew he didnt. She knew he did it out of care, love, and caution. He had never ever stopped her from meeting a rabbit
or a little cub. But adults, he feared adults and she was so unsure why.
"Why dont you continue on your way. I think we're covered here." He said, looking Fraust dead in his magenta colored eyes.

Fraust almost flinched when he looked into the hard eyes of Azrael. He'd been about to reply politely but those eyes
made him pause. He gave the female a slightly beseeching look but as soon as he'd turned towards her,
the male growled, Fraust backed off a little but still tried to be cheerful "Rashida ma'am? call off your dog please?"
he joked. He moved to step forwards again but Azrael stepped between him and Rashida. Fraust backed right off.
"Easy... i didn't mean anything" he said before turing around and walking off. "I know where i'm not wanted"
