Shylock stretched a bit as he got off the plane. Well this was sure a nice enough place at least. The usually nude teen was glancing around a beach and kind of glad he'd only worn a pair of slacks and a vest. The weather here was LOVELY, just enough breeze and just the right temperature too!
Now, the real reason he'd come had to be around here somewhere, right? He'd signed up for a blind date program just for fun, and was brought here to have his date with whoever it was. Another guy, supposedly, one called Damien? Well, that didn't seem too bad. Stretching some, the pride spawn glanced around, wondering where the other spawn could be.

In stark contrast to his intended date, Damien was bundled as much as he could handle when he arrived at this asinine resort. He had grumbled the entire trip, cursing Gabriel's name every single way he knew how. How the illiterate spawn had managed to sign him up for this blind date nonsense was beyond him, but he knew that he was never, ever allowing him to do that again. Not if this was the kind of thing he was being volunteered for. Completely not in the Valentine's spirit, he had a scowl for every blithe person that passed him by. Stupid, they were all so stupid...
Damien shuffled his way towards the beach, toes clenching at the unfamiliar sensation of the sand slipping between them. Glancing around, he glimpsed someone who fit the description he'd been given; that and he looked completely out of place. An exasperated sigh sounded. What he wouldn't give to just leave and go back home. But his Humility demanded that he never do anything so discourteous, so he walked up to the older male, eyes cast on the ground. "Hi," he said unpleasantly. "You Shylock? I'm Damien. ...hi." The preteen shuffled, obviously uncomfortable. He couldn't help it, he'd never been on a date before, he didn't know what to say...

Shy grinned at the heavily dressed boy who came up to him. Well now, there was a study in opposites. While Shy was loose and comfortable, this boy was bundled up like he had just started climbing the alps.
"That I am. Good to meet you Damien." he greeted, leaning down a little so he could look the younger spawn in the eyes as he spoke. "How might you be today?"
