The past few days I have spent WAY too much time looking up Illuminati stuff online, and it is rather scary. It is also making me confused on what I should do. My fiance and I are artists, and wanted to see our universe of ideas come into fruition through books, movies, cartoons, video games, and any other way possible. All this Illuminati stuff is making me wonder if we should give up on our dreams now because it is really becoming terrifying. If the Illuminati really controls Hollywood and all major corporations in all different industries, that basically means we will have to join them or risk death. Granted, no matter how many theories are online, no one will know the truth unless they are personally faced by the Illuminati or Satan or whoever controls the world.
What would you do in our position?
Go through with following our dreams, even if it means risking that everything is true, and that the Illuminati/Satan will really come to us.
or give up, live a normal miserable life, and throw away lifelong dreams, goals, hopes, and aspirations, just to play it safe.

well join the underground artist revolution. like take your art to flea markets. be a local commission person, self publish. this is what people used to do. if you need to disscuss more on this just pm me i cant keep tabs on the guilds.

If you're a true artist you will be starving. There is a reason for the term starving artist. You can't go mainstream without the you know whos. If you're dream is of wealth well I pitty you. But if your dream is that of a true artist then I support you and I say never give up and never be defeated!
I write and create music. I love it, but I doubt I'd ever make it big but who wants to make it big? I'd rather just have fun with it and try to get the message out in an artistic way.

Anyway, I wouldn't really worry about that.
Illuminati is a very popular idea, but I highly doubt it is real.
I mean, the Illuminati are suppose to be secret. The idea is that anyone will be killed for trying to reveal them and their secrets.
( Like what Scientology was doing? )
But, if many media related things exists talking about them and saying they are "real" having been destroyed just like the author, it means the Illuminati aren't as powerful as we credit them to be OR they just don't exist and we only make them feel like they exist by finding them randomly.
( Even though the Illuminati symbol can easily relate to anything. Eyes can be used in most media related articles these days. )
Although, that isn't the point really.
If you really worry about the media being controlled, don't.
The media isn't exactly controlled by one puppeteer.
For example, I want to be a book writer. However, I must watch out for some publishing companies such as Penguin Books since they have been known to ******** over the book writers.
Don't give up dreams just because of fears and myths of some group. Shoot for your goals. and if it comes to the Illuminati existing, well, you can always quit. But I doubt they exist.

Well I consider "Illuminati" as an umbrella term for the secret societys.
I could actually suggest the Illuminati is the media (Propaganda) branch of the secret societies. And there are other branches with the same agenda just different routes.

well there supposed to be secert in the 50's before mass self published media they were called quacks, our new media allows us to put these things out in the open.
and artists can have day jobs......i know i do....XD im not gonna go hungry cause the body is one of my arts.
but yea if your wanting nation wide fame then you defeat the purpuse of art. just make the art. use your own means to make and show it.

I dream of fame, just so that others can see what I create.
I dream of wealth, so the people I care about don't have to be struggling to live. I am sick of everyone I love not being able to go to the doctor because they can't afford it or being depressed because of bills. I don't dream of wealth so I can buy $500 shoes or something petty like that.
A lot of what we want to create we can't do on our own. We don't have the knowledge, technology, or man power to create cartoons, movies, video games, etc on our own. Books can be done easily, but everything else involves needing to be mainstream.
Also, you said to be a true artist is to be starving. I find that to be total bull. So you are saying any artist who isn't strapped for cash is not an artist anymore?

Penguin Books Publishing has been known to screw authors on payments for their books and constantly do it. They are also known for allowing authors to produce phony, crappy books such as a book about the sex, money, and drugs in LA.

My advice is to keep on doing what you're doing. Don't let fear stop you because if you do then "They" have already won.
People can make video games and such on their own, it's just more difficult than the average person is comfortable with. There are independent video game publishers and some of them release their games on the web for free. Mobile media has really opened up exposure for this kind of thing. It just depends on your knowledge base; you have to be a little technical.
For the record though, Lucifer seems to be largely misunderstood. I can see how he would be lumped in with the Illuminati stuff though.
Overall though, I say keep on trucking. Don't give up just because of some bogeymen that might not even exist. If you do that then they don't even have to try to stop you.

Captain_Shinzo If that was the case, you wouldn't see artists being able to quit. However, there are artists that have quit before and there still is some. Either the Illuminati don't care or they don't exist. :S

Micheal Jackson, Bob Marley, Lennon, Heath Ledger, Aaliyah, Left Eye from TLC. Among others.
