Minipet Dance Floor If you're here, then you've stumbled upon the minipet dance floor. It's a small section in the back of the cafeteria that looks very much like the student area though much smaller in size. The tables were child-like and each had a bowl of candy placed in the center and small balloons were tied against each leg. Matching stools surrounded each table. Though too small for a student to sit on, they are perfect for the minipets! ((This thread will start off with an event but once it's over, feel free to roleplay your minipet interacting with other minipets if you want!))

The Game Game Over, congrats Nothing Yet!
+One minipet per person may enter the game. However, you can roleplay multiple minipets in the thread later on if you wish!
+One roll per person. No deleting posts, please!
+Rolls are welcome until approximately midnight EST tonight!
+To play the game, simply roll a 1d100 to determine how well your minipet dances the first time out on the floor. The results are as followed:
1-4: Your minipet trips and falls flat on its face before reaching the dancefloor. MEDIC!
5-14: Your minipet manages to shake its toosh. I hear toosh dancing is acceptable in many minipet cultures but it just looks ridiculous here. Sorry!
15-40: Your minipet dances the robot. A robot with nearly dead batteries.
41-59: Your minipet does a little bellydance for you. This could be either really adorable or absolutely horrible. You be the judge.
60-85: Your minipet grabs a couple others nearby and starts to linedance. It's like a car accident, so horrible to see but you just can't look away.
86-95: Your minipet begins to breakdance! It goes pretty well until he/she knocks over a nearby table.
96-100: Your minipet breaks out in a rendition of Thriller that captivates all the onlookers! Any minipet nearby seems compelled to join.

Example:  Rain set her minipet down on the floor and stepped back to watch. Witch looked up at her mistress with a mischievous smile and snapped her fingers. "Oh, sorry, I forgot," Rain mumbled and pulled a tiny red-orange jacket out of her pocket. The small minipet put the jacket on and stepped on to the dance floor. She begin to shrug her right shoulder up at the beat. She began to go through all the steps of Thriller, including the undead breaststroke, and soon was clapping her hands above her head and sliding to the left before repeating and sliding to the right. Rain had no idea where this was coming from but was enjoying it immensely. She especially loved the part where Witch looked like she had her claws up to the air. The undead ghoul began to jump in place, clapping her hands in excitement at her beloved pet. "They call me Witch, I got the twitch, dancing to the beat, moving on my feet, can ya feel the heat? Kapowwwwowowwwow," the minipet called out. Of course, only the other minipets could hear her. To Rain, it sounded like her usual sobs.

Pantaloons had left Sin's purse with his mate Ladyluv and then waddled out onto the small dance-floor in exploration. He spotted another pet doing somekind of dance and felt compelled to join her. He didn't quite know the moves though so instead he moved stiffly in little robotic twitches. Then he tried to bend over and see if the little Witch was wearing anything he could steal. He bent a little too far though and rolled over quickly his wings moved him up and away from the dance floor. Dancing wasn't for him it seemed, he was more interested in panties.

Dancing? What was dancing? While some minipets might have knowledge of cultured and proper behavior (or something like that), Luce was... well, she was a dog. A hunting hound. A terror of the forests! Future terror of the forests. And, as such, she did not dance. Instead, she pounced, hopping eagerly forward on stiff legs and then pausing, lifting her head up even as her ears and tail rose as well. There were so many interesting things here! So many pets! So many bigguns! So many smells! The cwn pup held the pose for a moment, tilting her muzzle up as she scented the air, little nose twitching furiously as she tried to take it all in. Then she play-bowed at the nearest minipet, feinted to the left, and charged off around the side of the pen, barking happily.

Luka couldn't claim to know what dancing was, but all the happy bouncing and movement caught his attention. He was grateful that Livi had brought him along with him and Carry, even though he had thought to leave the pet behind. So excited was he to see all the different pets roaming and his yapping was hard to contain. The second he was set onto the dance for, he chortled and spun in giddy circles for a bit before he attempted to try something that would look like dancing. Actually, Livi wasn't quite sure what in jack's name he was doing at all, as the little thing flopped around, fell over and practically giggled and rolled on the floor. It was nothing like the robot after a few moments and the demon shook his head in amusement. Ah well, least he tried.

Kylie saw all the other minipets dancing and boil did she ever want to join! Fascinated, she discarded her sword belt briefly and dashed out onto the dance floor. She paused for a moment, her ears twitching as she turned her head to watch the others. Then, after a moment, she began to sway her little lepus hips (did they have hips? who knew!) and moving her little lepus stomach too. It looked like a little attempt at a belly dance and with the little twitch and sway of her tail, who couldn't say it was cute?

As Booger stepped onto the dance floor, its entire body began to pulsate weirdly with the rhythm. You could see the music wobbling through it. It was strangely hypnotizing.
It used this technique to snag several other pets in its path.
Now trapped in sticky gunk, what was happening could be called a sort of very horrible, inescapable line dance. Tugging and struggling only seemed to encourage the feslime.
"Yessss," it hissed, "Everybody danccce."

Alwine had brought Pumpkin along, of course. She felt like he had been neglected as of late, and thought that it would be good to bring him somewhere... including the Scarentine dance. She sat the pumpkin down on the floor and walked back to the party. For a pumpkin, it did surprisingly well, swaying to the left and do the right, and eventually joining in with the slime cat's conga line. Who would've thought that a pumpkin could... well, move?

Davy had decided that... he wanted to give this dancing thing a try. It looked fun! The witch could do it (marvelously at that), so why shouldn't he? That in mind, he slipped into the dance floor and attempted to dance. Alas, apparently... fish snakes did not good dancers make - or at least, this particular one didn't, because he was wibbling lamely at best and... looking like he was having a seizure at worst.

Trixie was not brought to the dance even if it did arrive trailing after its master. The purple tentacle had snuck out and followed after Maritess while keeping out of sight. Its many mouths curled into a grin at the sight of dancing minipets. Trixie wanted to join in!
And join in it did by... bellydancing? Well, it does have five mouths. But really, Trixie, bellydancing? Why yes! Yes, it is bellydancing. You got a problem?

Colette had not consciously brought a minipet with her to the dance; but as she stood, waiting for Calder to return with some liquid punch, something inconspicuously scuttled from under a layer and ruffle somewhere on her person and made its way to the other minipets, eager for socialization. As much socialization as a small crab with tiny panties on it could get, anyway.
It is unknown where it came from exactly, but it is most likely that he hitched a ride during the terrible laundry room detention Colette served days prior to the dance and lived its life in her room since then. Really.
Curiously watching the other minipets made the Panty Crab want to dance as well, and so he started. Apparently what he attempted was called "the robot," or some terrible form of it. Though, any dancing a crab would do probably looked like the robot. Clearly he wanted to make his new owner proud.

Scruff had made a fantastic discovery that evening, that involved panicking hunchbacks and biting a spare hand so feircly that the fingers popped off like tiny rockets! One of which had scooted directly into the doorway as Christof had rushed off to get ready for the Dance, seemingly unaware that the door had not shut all the way behind him. What lay beyond.... MYSTERY AND ADVENTURE and possibly interesting things to chew on and things to sniff. Drawn by the smell of food and people and lights, the hodgepodge of parts that called itself a Scareon happily trotted into the foray long before his Master had arrived. The scent of something deliciously rotting towards the back immediately drew his attention, nose to the floor as he wound around people's feet and straight into.... Something horrible and gelatinous and green and almost CAT LIKE that he found himself inexplicably STUCK to. Every struggle made his pointy little paws sink deeper, his hind legs wobbling under the weight of his fat, pampered tummy as suddenly Booger wobbled and jiggled forward. Well. Apparently he was now part of a growing Conga Line. And apparently this blobby cat thing was not terribly edible either. Scruff gave a whine of disapproval.

Syeran padded over toward the dance floor, looking slightly curious and yet still rather superior to all the other minipets there. His personal playlist was so much nicer than whatever that crap was they were playing here, so he had the volume on it cranked way up.
Strutting onto the dance floor, he started to glide and spin, leaping about here and there. The problem was... the beat of the two sets of music didn't at ALL match, so his dance just ended up looking stupid to everyone else. Once his song had finished, the minipet suddenly realized that, stiffened ... and then stalked off, tail twitching. Jack that had been rather embarrassing. Remind him never to dance in front of an audience again.
