Soileana flitted through the trees, on the look-out for a very specific mushroom. She had heard that upon eating it, one would develop a keener sense hearing and the ability to see even the smallest detail. Not that she wanted either, but she enjoyed mysteries and discovering new things to think about. The size of a large moth, she followed a small creek bed, keeping an eye out for the bright red and spotted cap of this mysterious mushroom. The mushroom's properties sounded almost magical, but little did Soileana know she was looking for the magic mushroom and that its effects were more than she was bargaining for.

(FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I HONESTLY THOUGHT I HAD POSTED TO THIS ;A; *sob* So sorry) Etcetera, meanwhile, stretched out his legs and shook a hoof out, getting bits of leaf litter from his opalescent fluff, momentarily unaware of the Flutter heading his direction. The Cheshire Clan Soquili then rubbed slightly against a tree before nearly running into the flutter, "Gah!"
He blinked, eyes crossing in surprise to look at the flutter, "...A horsefly?"

Soileanna continued on her bumbling course, not particularly knowing where she was going. As she rounded a tree, Sol gasped, surprised by the large face that suddenly appeared before her. After a moments pause to recollect her thoughts, she landed gently on the stallion's muzzle. With a flutter of her wings, Sol replied wistfully, "Oh, to be a fly... whose life lasts all but a day. What would one do if they only had a day..." A soft sigh escaped her lips before she removed herself from the rather fuzzy stallion's face and hovered a few feet away from him.
Such an interesting male he was, quite unlike anything she had seen before. He reminded her vaguely of her adopted son, Karloff, though not quite as ferocious. There was a more playful gleam in his eye than there was in the eye of the young Karloff she knew. "And what of you, Sir Fluff? What would you do with a life in one day?"

"most species that live only a day have lived much longer than that in a different skin, then become the flies you know, where they mate and have children then die of old age, if they are the lucky ones." Etcetera chuckled slightly, raising an eyebrow with a sly smile at the flutter, "However, I already live my life as if it was the last, So I wouldn't change much of any of it, or do anything differently, really."
He tipped his head slightly upwards, eyes crossed slightly to watch her, "Curiouser and Curiouser, are you wishing for death to come so soon?"

Soileana gave the fluffy stallion a petite smile and shook her head forlornly, "Oh no... I neither wait for death nor do I wish for it... but the way you live sounds very tiring..." Hovering in front of the male she paused for a moment before explaining herself, "Do you breath like every breath is your last? I would say... that sounds very tiring."
As she looked him over, Soileana could not help but continue noticing how intriguingly strange his eye were. However, after another moment she shook her head and concentrated on the task that had originally been at hand, or at hoof, "Good sir, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find a certain bright red mushroom with varying sized yellow spots, would you?"
