The theme song of the man no one had seen in quite some time, and sure enough Mike Landry did appear through the curtain wearing some snazzy new attire. His wore a vest with mirrors all over them, chaps with broken hearts all down the side, not unlike Shawn Michaels' attire from the 1980's.
"Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome your host for the evening...The Heartbreaker...Mike Landry!"
Landry strode out to his music's upbeat tempo, immitating the Shawn Michaels dance and struts all the way into the ring. He was met with heavy boos and jeers for immitating the legend, but it didn't seem to deter Landry. He finally made it into the ring and his that half-split flexing pose Michaels made so famous. Pyros went off behind him in sequence, and when they ceased Landry ended his pose and he took a microphone from the ringside attendent, allowing his music to fade before speaking.
"Well that sure as hell isn't what you came to see now wasn't it!?" Landry said with a grin on his face and the audience boo'd.
"I know that. I know what you came to see, you came to see the Legend, the Show Stopper, the Main Event, the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels!"
To which the audience roared in approval.
"You're damn right you did. You see as much as i've talked about how much better I am than Shawn Michaels my entire career, how I was the new Heart Break Kid, how I broke more hearts than he did on his best day...the God's Honest Truth of the matter is that without Shawn Michaels...there would BE NO Mike Landry."
Landry's unexpected show of humility caught the audience off guard and he recieved a sort of golf-clap response from the awkward crowd.
"And so...for the first time in four years...I want to have The Heart Break Kid and the Heartbreaker in this ring at the same time! So without further adeu, the man you've all been waiting for, the Quintisential Ironman, the Grand Slammer, the WWE Hall of Famer, the Undisputed Number One Professional Wrestler of All Time! The HEART! BREAK! KID! SHAWWWWWWWN MICHAEEEEELS!"

The roof blew off the joint when Shawn Michaels' music his the P.A. and the one and only Heart Break Kid entered the building. Of course he didn't go through his normal dance routine, but he did do his bow infront of the stage allowing his own pyro to go off behind him. After it dissipated the strutted down the ramp, slapping hands with all the fans along the entrance ramp, then continued all around the ringside area and slapping every single fan at ringside.
When he had finished that he stepped up the steps and between the ropes, meeting the man who has been talking about him behind his back for four long years. Now...it was time to settle the score.
"First, I want to make one thing perfectly clear: I am HBK Shawn Michaels, and you will never be. I've been listening to you mock me behind my back, call me out in organizations I didn't work for, even after I had retired. You know they say that "immitation is the sincerest form of flattery," but theft? That is the lowest insult one can be dealt among professionals."
Shawn paused to glare straight into Landry's eyes, showing that he was not amused by his shenanigans.
"Now i'd be less surprised...if I didnt follow your career as well. You see, a few years back you announced your heritage, revealing you were the lost member of the legendary Graham Wrestling family. You immitated Dr. Jerry Graham and the one and only "Superstar" Billy Graham, even changing your name to Evan Graham in order to cash in...on the legacy left behind. You even staged a reunion with "Superstar," trying to make him your own personal spokes person...but...Landry...he didn't have many great things to say about you."
Shawn couldn't help but develop a mischevious look that he'd been famous for over the years.
"Yeah, sure, he called you a rising star, the future, the Reflection of Perfection, but he said you weren't really a Graham...and that stuck in your craw...He told you to back off the gimmick, warning you about the tragic history, but you wouldn't listen. You gave him a Heartbreaker right in the middle of the ring! To an elderly man with broken legs! A Hall of Famer! You nearly broke his ribs you sick b*****d!"

"Shawn! SHAWN! I know! I get it! But i'm not here to talk about the past. At least not mine...We're here to honor YOUR career! Don't you see? As the host I've specially designed this card to highlight your most famous moments in your career!
The Casket match with Mankind!
The Ladder match with Razor!
The Hell in a Cell with Undertaker!
Hell if we had a bigger budget I would have put out an Ironman match...or used a real Cell instead of the Steel Cage...but I digress! Shawn...this night is about you! So I may be the host, but you make the calls. Tell me what you want to happen, and i'll make it happen!"
Landry looked honest in the presence of his cynical idol, but neither the audience nor Shawn seemed to take him seriously.

Shawn seemed to take Landry's sentament to heart and backed off on his aggression, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"You know...it is pretty cool...but I think you forgot one crucial moment in my career. That one moment that REALLY put me over the top into a real contender...the thing that turned me into the "Show Stopper."
As Landry looked confused, Michaels backed up and NAILED Landry with some Sweet Chin Music, jacking his jaw back and causing the crowd to erupt with cheers.
"When I Super Kicked your teeth right down your throat! So Says the Heart Break Kid! So Shall it be!"
Michaels dropped the mic and posed for the crowd as his music started again, Landry laying flat on his back staring up at the lights. HBK posed over Landry's body as pyros went off overheard and eventually led to a commercial break, allowing HBK Tribute Day to move on with great momentum.
