Remember the Jack event? Remember how Jack had the ability to turn you into a pumpkin fluff? Well this ring is based on that.

Pumpkin Punisher Ring
Range: Medium
Duration: 1 minute 30 seconds
AoE: One animated at a time
Stamina Cost: 9-12
Cooldown Time: 50 seconds

RR1 --> Level Drain .1 CL + 20% Speed Debuff (9 stamina)
RR2 --> Level Drain .2 CL + 35% Speed Debuff (10 stamina)
RR3 --> Level Drain .3 CL + 50% Speed Debuff (11 stamina)
RR4 --> Level Drain .4 CL + 65% Speed Debuff (12 stamina)

Comments would be appreciated, and other suggestions for the name of the ring are fine. It doesn't necessarily have to be related to pumpkins (lol).

Animated don't have armour. So the first stat won't do anything.

Sounds like a power gimp to me.

This is one issue with the game that maks it boring. Damages come in constants, and you can kill most enemies with just about anything. Choosing attacks is somewhat of a free game.

They could have armor just like us, and different attacks could have different amounts of armour piercing.
Or any other system really. I too find this suggestion a bit too much on the current game, even overpowered overall - but.

And on that subject, they could as well be able to debuff us once in a while, the rarer mobs in some areas that is. On top of we topping them in damage suppression, they can't do it to themselves, and can do nothing about ours. It's not like we can't easily rebuff again, and it'd teach some people that sometimes, even a RR1 is enough to pass and you should always look at your crew.

But, this is a different suggestion much? It's one of the things I've thought of a lot. I've commented once that maybe, objects in-game (including all targets) aren't that different from one another,and this could be worked with in more creative ways. Why not carry buffers to enemies as well? They need defense.

Me neither, but by the way she used the expression, it seems like it's either something 'overpowered' or something 'underpowering' to the opposing side.

It's a debuff that screws over the enemy in all ways.

The ring you suggested, for example, renders the enemy both less effective against you, and you more effective against them.

Phew, I'm glad the explanation made sense to one of us xd

Might I suggest, doing a level drain effect?

The animated is treated as .1 of a C.L. per RR less than it is?

Now this is something Original. No sarcasm intended. I like that you came up with it!
I often see what some games do well myself and that could be placed on others. It's not copying, it's recognition of good design.

I've never even thought of coming up with something like that for zOMG!, but I can see it working. Since how much the ring would affect the target would depend on the target's stats itself, there isn't much in the way of making it unbalanced. The one stat it couldn't mess with however, would be Hp, but I think that's a given.

I haven't seen an incarnation of this ring, yet, that actually scales with CL. Give me a reason to put orbs into it, please? User Image

It means that when you use the ring on an animated, it's stats are reduced as if it was a lower level.

Let's say, you're fighting a Cl 8.0 Sand Golem.
You use this effect on it on RR2, then the Golem, while still a Cl 8.0, would have the Attack Power, Accuracy, Dodge, etc. of a Cl 7.8 Golem while this was in effect.
RR4 would reduce it to Cl 7.6, while RR1 would only take it to 7.9.

oooh okay, that makes sense, ya i think that would be a good effect, should i replace that effect with the defense thing?
