Just a spot of speculation on the future of zOMG's storyline. As anyone who reads Labtech 123 and X's dialogue should know, the NeXuS division of G-Corp was responsible for most of the events up to now. They're the ones who figured out how to harness Ghi energy, and distributed the rings to Gaians to further X's scheme. Now that X is out of the picture... what's next?
Recall if you will, Ian's comments about Vampires being adept recruiters, and what he feared might happen if they took control of the OMGWTF. Ghi has been publicly exposed as an exploitable resource. No doubt the vampires will make an effort to use Ghi and Animated to their own benefit.
And yet, what of the newest manga updates? Zhivago is working for the Kuro clan of Dark Elves. Do the elves also wish to exploit Ghi energy? How does eliminating the Gambino family fit in to this? Perhaps the coming pages will hold more answers... or questions.
