Do you think that there are mythological creatures in some other plane of existence? Do you believe in them at all? Do you think they have ever been in our world? That there is some truth to the myths? Do you feel a special connection to a particular creature? Do you think they can be a person's power animals?

I believe that some may exist on another plane of existence. I don't believe that they can be a power animal, or totem, though. This is mainly because I don't believe they exist on this plane. There's always a real, animal that a mythical one can be related/similar to. It's easier to work with beings that are on this level. Now, if one were to say...somehow enter another plane of existence, one might feel the same or a similar bond with the mythical "version" of a real animal. In normal circumstances, however, I think we're pretty much limited to working with real creatures that are a part of our own existence.
Now, I've always felt a special affinity towards dragons, or the idea of them at least. I don't think I would ever come across them as a power animal though. However, I also feel a strong affinity with snakes, so that could be this planes manifestation.

First off, one of my core beliefs is that if people believe in it, then it's real for them.
That said, for me, mythical creatures are real on this plane as well as others. Some people are blessed enough to see them and communicate with them. Still others are blessed with their constant (or elongated) companionship. I believe some keep to their own planes because they do not like the way the world works today...or maybe they have a ruler or governing body that won't let certain beings to this plane of ours, I don't really know.
As for their ability to be power animals, like Dragoness I don't believe they can. I do, however, consider my beings guides and teachers. Sometimes I think they learn from me as much as I learn from them.
Whatever the reason, I feel blessed for their presence and guidance. heart I have the most patient and loving guides, and I feel like I don't give them enough credit.

I definitely feel that mythological creatures exist in some other plane of existense. I would even go so far as to say that they may have actually been in this world at one point in time. Do I think they can be power animals? That I honestly do not know. I can say that I have always had a slight obsession with unicorns but it was stronger in my childhood. To the point where it seems like they could be a totem for myself, but I can't actually say that for sure. So I just enjoy my interests and if I learn something than I do.

How I see the planes as working is that there are dimensions, then planes of existence, then specrums. There are different dimensions, which are basically...different possibilities. It could be nearly exactly the same as our own dimension, or totally opposite. Within every dimension there are the different planes of existence. We'll use Earth, Heaven and Hell as examples. Each of these is on a different plane of existence. It's still within this dimension, so you can access it/go there, but not something we interact with on this plane (normally). Now, I also believe that within every plane is a set of spectrums. These spectrums are basically the lines where every plane crosses. Every plane is connected to the others by these spectrums. I believe it is these spectrums that ghosts, as an example, move through when in our plane. So, when you see a ghost or spirit, it is in our plane, but on a different spectrum than we are. Kind of looking into a house. You can see things in the house, but you're not actually there. I don't believe we can ever fully enter another plane of existence. Terrible things would happen to ones body and you'd more than likely die. We do not exist in this plane like demons or angels exist in theirs.

I get what you are saying. That is quite an interesting theory and I do think that it is a possibility.

I feel like it's the same as with ghosts, they're there, we just might not see them all the time. Uh...that's not really a good reason for believing in something, I'm sorry. There are plenty of bullshit things that people believe and make up for sad/pathetic and bullshit reasons and believing in something just because a lot of people do isn't a good idea. Take many of the books on Wicca for example. People make up bullshit about it all the time just to make money and people believe it. Why? Because it's a mass spread idea. Doesn't make it true though.

I'm not sure if they are real or not, but I've always believed they are. In my mind, it works sorta like aliens(just follow me here), we're ignorant to believe we are the strongest, most dominant and dangerous physical beings on earth(because the gods are there of course, but they aren't always seen or touched), there is something more to this world, something unseen, unexplained, and mythical about it. There are things out there that some of us have the misfortune/luck(of course depending on the situation) to see and experience, but people make it out to be fake, imagination at work, etc, because it doesn't fit in with today's societies definition of normal. That's just my opinion though.
