He has a lot of government experience and he understands the condition of the country. I also support that he wants to bring the troops home. I also like how he says we shouldn't police the world.

Ron Paul is anti-choice, is an evolution and climate change denier, wants to eliminate the Dept. of Education and public education, and wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act. burning_eyes

I'll just vote for Kucinich again.

He actually cant repeal the civil rights act its set in stone. But he dosen't want to do that. And he means instead of the department of education the state would take care of there individual education departments.

Yeah, that's great and all, but the whole "bring our troops home" bit is generally said by most. Does he have an actual plan for bringing troops home or does he just say "I'll do it!!!11!" And understands the condition of the country? So he realizes that the rich keep getting richer and the poor poorer, and that the country's unemployment rate is high? Well good for him, but so do many people in this country. I want someone who can say these things but also have a detailed plan for DOING something about i, not just more fluff talk.

Nothing is set in stone; even the Constitution can be amended! He claims it is unconstitutional and even though he has a snowflake's chance in hell of getting it repealed, the fact that he would is disturbing enough to me.

We are still talking about disbanding any federal level of education regulation. "Alabama doesn't like evolution? Don't teach it!" "Texas doesn't like that the civil war was fought over slavery? Skip it!" Except that that is a denial of proper education by the state where the federal government would have stepped in.

I have faith in Ron Paul he is the one that always warns congress about there plans being costly and he said the economy was facing collapse years ago. But they didn't want to listen to him,now look at where we are.

Im sorry I didn't care to answer that with all respect I see where that topic would go and I dont think it would be worth discussing as far as the civil rights act. I don't think you understand what Im saying about Education.

Yes I most certainly have. I honestly don't find any politician worth listening to unless they can lay out some sort of structured plan. All anyone wants to do is say "I'll do this" or "I'll do that" but no one actually says how. Do you know why? Because they most likely don't actually care about those issues or they know it's not something that they can personally fix.
And just out of curiosity, may I ask how old you are?
