 Heather "Pepe" Adams♮Tuba ♯Sophomore ~Don't make me...~ Pepe, finished with her task, quickly ran to the band room, seeing Ria on the way. She wasn't sure why, nor was she going to ask any questions. Her feet hit the ground hard, adding a little bit of a stomp to her run. She was headed for the band room. Headed for the place where her weapon was. Entering the band room, she immediately headed for the sousas, and grabbed the smallest one (she was the smallest in the section, so naturally they would give her the smallest horn), and put it around her back, the horn resting on her left shoulder. Then, being careful not to damage anything, she headed back outside, but not before grabbing her water jug, which she had filled earlier that morning, to the tree of life, where...only her roommate seemed to be at the moment. Well, Pepe had only just told everyone, and they all weren't as motivated or fast moving as she was...heh, there was still about 15 or so minutes til the instructors would get them started. No biggy. ~...open up a can of white girl can't dance~

Yolanda Learie Yolanda stepped into the shaded area with mild confusion. For a new person, this school seemed ridiculously large, but she supposed she would get over it. She leaned against the tree and crossed her arms, unsure of what else to do. She glanced about her and saw only a couple other people. She clutched her case and swallowed, calling out politely,"Hello!" She knew there was no reason to be nervous, yet she still felt that fear and concern newness.

If Pepe had had ears life...a wolf or a cat or something, they would have totally swivled in the direction of the voice. But instead, she turned her head, and saw a blonde haired girl. Smiling, Pepe said "Hey!" There was hardly anyone else, and her roommate didn't seem to want to talk at the moment. So why keep someone else that did bored? The sousaphone player walked up to the girl, and went into tubalax (basically, she rests the tuba on her hips and knees) before offering her hand to shake. "I'm Pepe."

Yolanda LearieYolanda smiled warmly and extended her own hand, shaking it firmly. "Nice to meet you. I'm Yolanda." She glanced at the girl's instrument for a moment and asked,"Brass 'gal?" She set her case down beside her and pushed her hair away from her eyes as waited for the girl's answer.

Pepe nodded, and crossed her ams over her flat chest after the shake was complete. "Yep. One of the only girls in Savanna history to play the instrument." She was rather proud, being the second girl to play tuba here. The other was this scene girl, who like to dye her hair these obscene colors. "Ahem, anyhoo~ It's nice to meet you too. Ah..." she looked at the case "clarinet?" Pepe was pretty sure it was that...though it could have been an oboe...no, wait, Belski wouldn't allow oboe to march. Right, so clarinet it was. "That's cool. Clarinet's one of the only woodwind instruments have have some respect for." Pepe didn't like saxes. At all. Bleh.

Yolanda LearieYolanda smiled. It seemed cool to meet a girl who could handle such a large instrument. As the girl pointed to her own instrument she nodded,"Yes. Regular ole' Bb clarinet. Not the first, not the last, but I've done well with it." She smiled, choosing to lean against the tree since it was a bit warm outside. "Have you been here long?"

 ((I'm not going to wait for i-carrot anymore she hasnt posted back in a loooong time)) Chantal Bounced in her hightops all the way to the tree of life. Not literally, but everyone agrees when someone points it out, that when Chantal walks, her step is very...happy. She saw two people standing there talking so figured she could join the conversation. As she neared the tree she slowed her pace and a cool breeze moved her hair. This place is awesome! The shade cast by the large tree had now eveloped her. "Hi guys!" She only recognised one of them, the one who had told her about the meeting earlier back at the dorms and even then Chantal hadn't had a chance to talk as the girl took off so quickly. The other had long blond hair and green eyes.

Pepe nodded. "Yeah, the very first here." It wasn't a lie, she was...though, technically, she never left, so to speak. There was another, voice,and Pepe looked over her shoulder, and saw another girl, whom she recognized from earlier...sort of. But she had visited around 60 other dorms...sheesh, how was she still hyper after that? "Hey" she replied.
[ speaking of the Tree of Life, the ToF irl is all flooded razz it was raining like crazy over here ]

Yolanda LearieYolanda smiled, this girl could be a great help if she knew the way around so well. She gave a small wave to the girl who was quickly approaching. "Hello." She wasn't sure what else to say, being so new, but she was glad to meet another person.

"My name's Chantal Chapman! You came into my dorm earlier but I didn't catch your name." She smiled as the breeze kicked up again. She looked over at the blond haired girl about to say something and then stopped herself, She tended to get into a million conversations at the same time and people sometimes got annoyed. So she'd stick to names first.

This girl, Chantal, seemed much more hyper than herself, and that was saying a lot. Pepe just got this vibe from her...so most likely, Chantal was like this the majority of the time. Lovely. Pepe didn't think she could stand being hyper all days of the week, all weeks of the month, and all months of the year. Too much work, and she was lazy. "What do you play?" ~...open up a can of white girl can't dance~

Marcel heard one of the girl's say hi. He assumed that she was directing it towards him, so he waved to her. He didn't say anything, as was usual for him. Marcel found that a simple wave was enough of a greeting. He heard Pepe say "I play tuba and bass guitar." And then she gestured at the sousaphone on her hips. How she could keep that horn on her hips when she wasso thin and undeveloped was beyong the flute player.
