Student Table #3

As the students come into the Great Hall they are given a number of table to sit at.

Bailey assessed the table with the number that matched her card. It was decorated in a beautiful white tablecloth and a bouquet of roses. She pulled a chair out for herself and poured a cup of tea. She scanned the great hall, wondering who would be joining her as she tucked a silk napkin onto her lap.

Tyler walked over to the table marked number 3. Once again he stumbled over the hem of his scarlet robes. "Umm Hi" he said awkwardly adjusting the color of his golden cloak. "I'm Tyler"

First Year Slytherin Student: SaLevera Sykes



Levera glanced at the card and then at the table she was meant to sit at. "Perkele!" She cursed rather loudly. She started to turn to leave...but the two at the table had all ready noticed her. Looks like she was committed to this now...she sighed and sat gracefully at the table.

Tyler glanced at the Slytherin girl who had sat "Levera" he nodded in acknowledgement. He switched his attention to Bailey "Your the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain right?" he asked trying to start a conversation

"Bailey Oliver." She properly introduced herself to the two students that she recognized from her first year classes. "Pleasure to meet you, two.

Levera perked up somewhat at the mention of quidditch, but didn't mention anything about it. "Levera Sykes" She said quietly in response to Bailey's introduction..

Tyler smiled "Tyler Dean, nice to meet you to Bailey" He looked at the other two "Bailey aren't you Hufflepuff? If so I think that means we will get a Ravenclaw next"

Levera sighed and wished she had a watch. She crossed her arms loosely over her stomach. She vaguely wondered how she'd let herself been convinced to do this as she looked around for the last victim.

Bailey felt the awkwardness at the table. She was a third year, Tyler was overly excited, and SaLavera was clearly wishing she was somewhere else. "Beautiful decorations... Bailey mumbled idly.

"Eh," Levera nodded in agreement. "So...." Levera said, "They should have done speed datin' instead of blind datin', don'tchya think?" Her American accent was coming through stronger....a sign of nervousness and feeling almost trapped.

Tyler looked at Levera "Interesting the anti-social Slytherin girl saying that" he smiled showing he was joking

Bailey did her best to keep her face composed as Levera mentioned speed dating. "Uh...yeah. That would've been...cool." She turned to her menu, flipping through the pages until she found what she wanted. "I'll take a chicken and ham pie, please." Bailey spoke to her menu as if she was actually talking to one of the house elves, her plate filling with her desired recipe with a pop. "Yumm..." She didn't waste any time before digging into her dinner. She looked up at her dinner guests with a mouth full of food. "You don't mind, do you?" She spoke inaudibly, still chewing a piece of ham. She hoped they hadn't found her rude for not waiting.

Levera blushed at Tyler's comment, she opened her mouth to make a rude comment, but then decided not to make an enemy of everyone in the school. She picked up her menu to hide her face instead and said, "I'll have the minestrone soup and fried chicken."

Tyler looked at his own menu. Flipping through the pages "Chicken Cordon Bleu, Peirogies, and Pumpkin Juice" he said. He smiled when the food appeared and the cup filled with the beverage. He took a sip of his drink.
