Lestatia Saphira LeGrande
It's always a good idea to learn the rules.. that way you know how to break them properly. wink
they call me Lestatia
I act my age, 11
last I checked I was female
I'm in my... 1st year!
I'm into guys
I love Vampires, drawing, breaking rules, being sarcastic, dark stuff, horror films/books
I despise Preps, bullies, Slytherins, most people who have the authority to tell me what to do, and those who punish me for breaking rules
I fear fire, umm... unexpected tests, pop quizzes, and..and... uh, losing my hands. Cause then I wouldn't be able to draw...
I don't have an attitude.. Lestatia likes the dark, she is goth-ish, and quite a vampire fan. She usually prefers to keep to herself, but she's very adventurous, and often breaks rules; her thoughts on that are that rules were made to be broken.
She also prefers not to listen to authoritive figures, and she doesn't usually pay much attention in class. She is also sarcastic most the time, and often ends up getting in trouble because of her smart mouth. Yet she is also a very loyal friend, if anyone will be her friend, and wouldn't hesitate to risk her life to save a friend; perhaps even an enemy.
once upon a time Lestatia was born in America, a pretty girl with glossy black hair, pale skin and sapphire eyes. Her mother was an Italian witch, and her father was a muggle, half English and half French. Her mother, Crispina Morelli (maiden name), died when Lestatia was still an infant, leaving her father, John LeGrande, to raise their daughter.
Crispina, Lestatia's mother, was killed in a house fire when Lestatia was a year and a half old. The fire started after her father had gone to work, and she was in her crib when the house caught fire. Her mother ran to save her daughter, but her wand had been left in another room. Crispina held her daughter close to protect her from the fire and smoke, and though the mother died in the fire, she was able to save her baby.
Lestatia never remembered this, but for many years she had bad dreams, of raging fire, seeming as if she were trapped in a cage, and what seemed to be a dark haired angel saving her from the blaze. It wasn't until she was four that she learned about what happened to her mother.
Lestatia spent her first five years mostly in solitude, rarely going to play with other children, reading darker themed books, usually playing by herself. When she started school, she was the oddball, an outcast most of the time. But this she never really minded very much, as she would prefer not to be bothered anyway. She was often the subject for bullying, and this she didn't like. She came to be very good at getting away from these bullies, hiding away someplace where they were unlikely to find her, and she often spent the time drawing or plotting ways to get around rules.
When Lestatia was 9 years old, she began to realize that several things about her were not quite normal, like how she could get away from bullies so easily. Things she had always known of herself to do, like making a sheild form around her when she fell out of the top of a tree, cushioning her landing, she realized, was not..natural; that other children were completely uncapable of doing such things. This she didn't understand, but she couldn't help be secretely pleased by this. She, of course, kept this a secret, and since she had no friends she had no reason at all to be tempted to let anyone know that she was so very different.
Her father had never known about her mother being a witch, and he was often busy with work, so he didn't notice anything uniquely special about Lestatia before. But one day, when she was ten, it all came out due to her dropping a stack of plates which stopped inches from hitting the floor. Lestatia's father was shocked and a little shaken by this, and very confused. He cautioned her not to let anyone know about this, and she promised she wouldn't.
Then, at age 11, shortly after her birthday, Lestatia received a strange, mysterious letter from a place called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.....
the house I'm in is... Ravenclaw
there's something else I need to tell you...Lestatia tends to be a mischeivous, clever little rule-breaker with a smart mouth, but she has amazing talent as an artist. She loves to draw, even more than she likes to break rules, and she also has a slight fascination with vampires.
one may call me a... Half-Blood
"Maybe I'll obey the rules. Some of them, anyway. What are you going to do if I don't, by the way?"
