Chapter one: The Beginning of the Game -Yeah I am hoping later on I will come up with neat titles but for now...this is probably going to be boring-



So here is the title screen we come across. You gotta press start to begin the game. Once you do, you press new game...man, can't they ever try switching it up? Like say, "Start your adventure here!" Or, "Enjoy pure hell"




In this game, you get to choose which gender you want to be. In this case, I decided to play the female role, since I enjoy some of the conversations that go on as one, and of course my main file is a female...DON'T JUDGE ME! Once you decide which gender you want, we go into the game!



"Zzzzz...I need my sleep...and I will not pay that much attention to what goes on around me...heck there could be a fire and I wouldn't notice."



"Hey! I may be an annoying voice but you gotta listen to me, because I am an unknown person!" Who will be revealed soon



And of course the main character chooses to continue to be drowsy



Sleepy much? Yeah looks like records need to be broken in the end. Although in the end you gotta get up.



This is an important item. You need this to get inside the Central Tower...explained later in the game.




"MOM! YOU OK?!....UWAH!" Down the stairs we go! Of course we get hurt, but they don't show the damage now. Which makes mom worry.






Test time. It seems mom wants to make sure you didn't get amnesia. Anyways, the 1st name shown is the female starter name. The 2nd one is the male starter one. However being me, I don't really like the starter name, so I chose something else.



Yep I chose a different name all right.





Ultimately, this is what you get to become in the game. Unless of course you get many game overs...in which then you are shamed for life.




"I need to make sure you don't have amnesia. WHAT IS MY NAME?!" "MOOOOOM! YOU ARE CALLED AMARISS!" "NO I AM NOT!" "YES YOU ARE!" "...ok fine...I was teasing anyways." Moms



And mom likes to make fun of you sometimes




"I WILL WIN THIS BIG TOURNAMENT A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE ENTERING BECAUSE I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER!"




Hey it seems we get a gift from mom...but it is sentimental



"Duh it will be hard. If the game was a walk in the park, then we would have lost ratings."



Yay for riding on water!



And of course this is your house.

All right next time we will move onto the Central Tower where the action truly begins in a way.

Yeah I ended up deciding to make a new album so I could store the pics there...will change it now

Chapter 2: More Boring things



So from your house you gotta do some walking



Going passed this building...this guy just gives some info that will be enjoyed later on



"Hey grumpy old man...boss...sir." Yep this guy is your boss.



Of course when options like these come up, either answer just gives you a different kind of dialogue...just didn't screencap it so...we are out of luck.



OOH SHINY! Yeah this is the device you save at.



Now up the stairs we go and find this room





Information time...basically the guardian beast is your ally in the entire game. There are four you can, one for the elements: Wind, Water, Fire, and Thunder, have through the entire main quest, up until the end where you get a new ally. But that will be later.



Yay the long beginning of a giant cutscene we can't skip...by the way, this guy is a jerk...look at his face.



This guy may look nice, but he is Carftlord Jade, or Ureska.



This guy is the calmest of them all. He is also one of the nicer ones.





"Blah blah blah so basically this is our way of choosing a new Craftlord."




"Basically, we chose you guys because we want to find out how many of you SUCK, and who is the one that is the best overall." Jerk



"Well I am gonna win, cause I am a badass." Look at him...doesn't he say something like that? His attitude gets old.




"Well a female has to win to be the next Craftlord." Yep, and it will be me.



"I'M GUARANTEED BECAUSE I LOOK THIS WAY!" Sorry but I will beat you





"We are letting you fight, but you must use your own crafted weapons. If they break, you lose."




"You can ask for your master's aid, but in the end only one person helps you out."





"You will need the materials, so you will have to venture into the dungeon to get them yourselves."





"There are dangers, but you should be fine! They will remain the same. If you can't beat them, then just get out of here."



"We will get back to you with your opponents at a later time."




"Always follow this code, since it will help you out."




"Zzzzzzzz...huh? OH SHI-"

So now we know what goes on for the tournament. In the next chapter, we will be moving onto the guild where we meet your ally!

Good to see this around.
Summon Night 1 is definitely one of the better ones in the series. Wasn't much of a fan of Summon Night: DS, and I'm having issues with the save function in SN 2.

Chapter Four: Morning? Gotta Prepare Now



We wake up...and we have no idea what we are doing



So we head to the door, and boss man barges in...Good morning to you too...



Ooh shiny key. But it is needed for our job.




Boss man is being boooooooooring.





But boring leads us to this: A new technique biggrin . You will always learn a new sword technique at the beginning of each day from boss man until the end I believe.



Time for some amnesia to show you guys what to do.



We gotta go through lecture mode...zzz



"Yeah I hear you...zzz"



"Eh heh...right I remember that boss."



"So you done lecturing?"



"Yay..but...where do we get materials?"



"Whoa you are giving me money sir? THANK YOU! You won't regret it."



Now lets just save just to be safe...and because I am said so.



Now then, here we have the item shop. We can buy stuff here, and we can't ignore it. Or else it will do this to us: twisted YOU CANNOT MOVE ON!



"Hey I need some ore. Hook me up."




"Nope. We just ran out. That girl over there has it all." WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?! Jerk.




Decisions again? Man this game asks for a lot.





Hey it is that one who believes that craftlord will be beautiful and strong. Also a rude girl.



"Well...shoot. Guess we go back to the boss."



"Not...exactly sir."



"SO THAT IS HER NAME!"





"Dang it boss you gotta at least tell us this beforehand. That way we can just GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!"






"Well dang we can't go in. I don't have a weapon...wait what do you mean I do? My hammer...where are you going with this sir? ...You gotta be joking." Unfortunately he is not. His opinion is his alone to get us through the next part.



Lets just go through this doorway here...and we will find something.



"We can't let you pass without a weapon it is too dangerous." Yeah we have one right here pal.



"Well I do not believe you. Try again."



After we give him our reasons he lets us pass.

All right next chapter, we dive into the Labyrinth, floor one. Maybe even forge our first weapon. Nom, out.

Chapter five: Descending into the dungeon, labyrinth thingy.



We are in the entrance and hey look! A shiny, glowing thing.



YAY FOR TELEPORTATION!



"Oh, you again as well? I SHOULD SMACK YOU WITH MY HAMMER!...but I won't, since we do work in the same guild and the game won't let me." For now.



Yay for confidence, again...but we look like a fool to her.



Man, what is with these quizzes in this game? I never studied. Man I'm gonna fail ;-;




"Uhh....is this a trick question, or are you that sexist?"



"Uhh...wow you really do seem sexist." Sorry guys forgot to screencap the answers...my bad.




"OH NO WAY! I WILL WIN! FORGET YOU! CAUSE I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER!"



Answering correctly, she gives you this. What it does will be shown later.



Lets smack a chest, and hey a healing item. Yay~



Ok guys, time to fight...eww a slime. BAD BOOGIE! IT HAS SNOT! DX



OWW! THE BOOGIE HURT ME! ;-;



stressed So I will smack you with my hammer.



"Phew...beat the stupid boogie." It is actually a slime. "BOOGIE!" ...ok then.



"La de la...oh dang it is her again...wait she seems calmer now. She's actually nice. Whoa man."



"...You are certainly are showing a bit of a feminine side here.."




This was a bit of a D'aww moment for me. Just seems so adorable~



"But wait! I wanted to chat...dang she left."



"Oh hey a chest...OMG SOME IRON ORE! FINALLY!"






"I'm getting stronger dad. I've leveled up." Now then, time to allocate your points. We can either put them in speed, defense or strength. I think I chose speed since it was the lowest of them all.



"That was a long time down there...I'm gonna take a nap...zzz." And you get healed completely. Convenient.



Now to save again, because we do not want to lose progress EVER!



Now lets create some materials so we can forge our new technique~





Lets just add these in and get it so we have a total of 7 fire, 7 water, and 5 wind. Yeah don't ask me, I don't really get that part.



All right lets get forging~



We make the new weapon...should have screencapped that it is a novice knife. Anyways, boss man comes in, and basically hounds you.




"You have what right to barge in here, and make me look lesser than you?"



O.O yes sir...don't kill me




"Huh? Hey, my first fight is soon? Someone named Chaves? Sounds easy."



Boss man seems to beg to differ. We will understand why once we go to fight him.




"That's so generous sir." On a side note, once you forge your first item, you can always go back to get a new technique of the axe, lance, knuckle, or drill. HOWEVER THERE IS A CATCH! You must forge that new technique before you can grab something new.

Well that is it for this chapter. The next chapter, we go back into the labyrinth since we will have to level up some more before this fight. Then we go off into the night to celebrate...if we win. BUT WE WILL, CAUSE WE ARE THE HERO OF THE GAME...and watch me get the game over screen. Nom, out

Joke Chapter 1: We lose the fight!



Hey we made it to the tournament. Take a look at biggie over there. Scary fella no?



And he intimidates us...C'MON WE CAN BEAT HIM!



Well fine give up now...we may as well forfeit




"I'm a confident beast. I don't need anything to beat this whelp."



We are ready, and so we proceed on! Lets beat this guy!



"Blah blah I am the announcer guy here."



There is his health, and his weapon's durability. Whichever bar hits zero ends the fight. WE CAN DO IT!...



WHAT?! But...I'm...the...main...character...how?



Damnit we lose...NOOOOOOOOOOO!

And that is why it is a good thing for saved states. This was just to show an example of the tournament fights, which have the same rules for fighting humans. You break their weapon and you win. SORRY SUE! THE GAME OVER SCREEN CAME! ;-; Nom, out again...this time to get the training right.
