Big Band Attack
Big Bang Attack (ビッグバンアタック, Biggu Ban Atakku) is an energy sphere technique used by Vegeta in the Dragon Ball franchise. In order to perform it, Vegeta extends his arm and opens his palm and turns his hand up at a 90 degree angle (as if to signal "Stop"). He then powers up and fires a powerful whitish-yellow energy sphere at the opponent. This attack creates an enormous explosion upon contact and leaves a huge mushroom cloud, making it reminiscent of the supposed Japanese obsession with nuclear explosions. The attack's name and state is also reminiscent of the Big Bang Theory.

Big Tree Cannon
Big Tree Cannon (ビクトリーキャノン) is a scaled down version of Vegeta's Final Flash used by Trunks. It is likely that it was either taught to Trunks by Vegeta, or that Trunks developed it after watching his father perform the Final Flash. Trunks starts by extending his arms to both sides of himself and forms two golden energy spheres. Then, he brings his arms in front of him and fires a large golden energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Brain Drain
Brain Drain is a technique used by Raiti and Zaacro on Bulma when she, Krillin, and Gohan crash-landed on the wrong planet, mistaking it for the Planet Namek. This technique lets Raiti and Zaacro read a person's mind. While this is a potentially very useful technique, but it does have some problems because even though Raiti and Zaacro used the technique on Bulma, who had minor knowledge of the Namek language, they still did not know the password to open Kami's spaceship. It is possible however that during the time they probe Bulma's thoughts and the time Raiti and Zaacro attempt to commandeer the ship, it ironically slipped their mind what the ship's controls were, or that they clumsily failed to probe these controls out of her as they believed there to be nothing unique about the craft.

Burning Attack
Burning Attack (バーニングアタック) is Future Trunks' signature attack. Future Trunks performs a series of rapid arm movements before placing his palms forward, with the thumbs and index fingers touching each other to form a small diamond shape. Then, he fires an energy sphere from his palms towards the opponent. This attack can be used with one hand, as he has demonstrated while using his sword in his other hand.

Death Ball
Death Ball (デスボール, Desubōru) is Frieza's ultimate attack, where he lights a spark of energy on his index finger. Once enough energy is gathered, this spark may grow to the size of a small moon and is thrown towards the target. Typically, this attack is used to destroy planets or as a last-ditch effort to kill an opponent.

Death Beam
Death Beam (デスビーム, Desubīmu), originally Frieza Beam (フリーザビーム, furīzabīmu) is a lethal, powerful technique used by Frieza. He extends his right arm and fires a small, very fast, laser-like beam of ki from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through an opponent. Frieza is able to be fire the attack very quickly while maintaining precise aim.

Death Break
Death Break (デスブレイク) is a rush attack used by Frieza in his 100% Power form. First, Frieza shouts, "I'll never give up!" as he punches the opponent in the stomach. Then, he attacks and knocks the opponent away up into the air with two roundhouse kicks. Finally, Frieza appears above the opponent and knocks them down into the ground with a hook kick in their stomach, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Death Cannon
Death Cannon (死キャノン) is a technique used many times by Frieza in his final form. Frieza holds his hand in front with the other supporting it in a manner similar to the Explosive Demon Wave. Then, he fires a large purplish-pink energy wave or energy sphere at the opponent. The blast creates a huge mushroom cloud explosion on impact and has an electrical aura surronding the explosion.

Death Chaser
Death Chaser (デスチェイサー) is a rush attack used by Cooler in his final form. First, Cooler charges at the opponent and punches them up into the air. Then, he flies up after the opponent and knees them in the stomach before backhand punching them down to the ground. Finally, Cooler charges down at the opponent and hook kicks them in the stomach deeper into the ground, inflicting a great deal of damage.

Death Impact
Death Impact (デスインパクト) is an energy wave used by Garlic Jr. First, Garlic Jr. puts his right hand behind and charges a reddish-pink energy sphere. Then, he brings his hand forward and fires the energy sphere in the form of an energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

Death Storm
Death Storm (ばっ!!!!) is a technique used by Frieza in his second form. First, Frieza raises his hand and opens it to release a light gray Exploding Wave. Death Storm, while easily avoidable, causes large scale planetary destruction and a very large tsunami that traveled for a large area in all directions. The island on which the attack is performed explodes, leaving only a small island which Frieza remains on.

Destructo Disk
Destructo Disk (気円斬) is Krillin's signature move and one of his most powerful attacks. The Destructo Disk is a razor-sharp disk of energy that can slice through nearly anything; its main weaknesses are that it is generally slow to create, it lacks accuracy, and it can't be guided once it is thrown. There is an improved version of this attack called Homing Destructo Disk (called Death Saucer in Budokai Tenkaichi 3). It was created by Frieza, and has the ability to follow a certain target around.

Dragon Thunder
Dragon Thunder is a technique used by Rage Shenron (5 Star Dragon) and Omega Shenron during the Shadow Dragon Saga in Dragon Ball GT. This attack is first used by the Giant Rage Shenron on Goku, stunning Goku fairly well. He also later used it briefly on Super Saiyan 4 Goku, but to no effect. This same attack is used on SSJ4 Goku by Omega Shenron, except it is shot down from the sky as a lightning bolt which sends the air-born Goku crashing down like a lightning bolt, but still not affecting him that much. In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 and Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World this attack is simply Omega Shenron calling down thunder from the sky just like the first time he used it on Super Saiyan 4 Goku (Surpassed Limits).

Omega Shenron also uses this attack in a painful variation on Vegeta, where he extends his spikes long enough to stab Vegeta in the left shoulder and electrocutes him and nearly killing him. This is used as his Rush Attack in Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 but, unlike in the series, the spikes impale the opponent on more than just one shoulder

Dodon Ray
Dodon Ray (どどん波, Dodonpa; lit. "Boom Wave") is a special attack used by Mercenary Tao and the members of the Crane School, and the Crane School's answer to the Turtle School's Kamehameha. It is never made clear whether Mercenary Tao or his brother, Master Shen, invented the technique, but it is used by both. Unlike most other energy attacks, it seems to be something of a superheated beam shot from the finger, shown by one person in the Tien Shinhan Saga of Dragon Ball who was covered in bandages because of burns caused by the attack. According to Master Roshi, the Kamehameha is inferior to the Dodon Ray. It is definitely more powerful than an average Kamehameha, but unlike the Kamehameha, it doesn't seem to require much charging, but will definitely be much more powerful when doing so. Also unlike the Kamehameha, which relies more on brute force to blast an enemy away, the Dodon Ray is more concentrated in piercing through a specific point on the body.

Dragon Fist
Dragon Fist (Ryū-Ken 龍拳, Dragon Fist) also known as Dragon Fist Explosion (Ryū-Ken Bakuhatsu 龍拳爆発, Dragon Fist Explosion) or Super Dragon Fist (超龍拳, Chou Ryū-Ken) is the only attack Goku comes up with completely by himself. He begins the attack by making a straight fist faced at his enemy, then once his fist, along with his own body, exits the stomach or chest of the target, the energy will explode out into the form of an enormous golden dragon which bears a great resemblance to Shenron and then finally collides into the target, possibly destroying it in its path or leaving a gaping hole, hence the name, Dragon Fist

Dynamite Kick
Dynamite Kick is a kick Mr. Satan used against Perfect Cell with no effect. Gotenks also performs it during the battle against Super Buu. It is said that Mr. Satan just named a normal kick. Though it is nothing special with it, Gotenks' version caused Buu to explode a second later and didn't do much damage.

Final Flash
Final Flash (ファイナルフラッシュ) is one of Vegeta's signature attacks (together with Galick Gun and Big Bang Attack), and supposedly the most powerful. In order to make the attack, Vegeta draws his hands back and gathers up all of his energy. Then, he thrusts his palms forward and discharges a massive golden-yellow beam of energy towards his opponent.

Final Shine Attack
Final Shine Attack (ファイナルシャインアタック) is one of Vegeta's ultimate attacks. First, Vegeta puts his hand to his side and forms a green energy sphere. Then, he brings his hand forward and fires a green energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

Finish Buster
Finish Buster (フィニッシュバスター) is an energy sphere used by Future Trunks in his Ascended Super Saiyan form. First, Future Trunks raises his hands and charges a large, golden-yellow energy sphere. Then, he swings his hands down and fires the attack at the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

Flight
Flight (舞空術, Bukujutsu; ; Literally meaning "Sky Dance Technique"; ) is one of the most commonly used techniques in the whole Dragon Ball Series. The result of it is that the user manipulates their ki energy so that they can levitate or fly with their feet.

Four Witches Technique
Four Witches Technique (四妖拳, Shiyōken, literally "Four Supernatural Fists") is a technique in which its user temporarily grows two extra arms from the back, seemingly under the shoulder blades. This allows the user to attack with twice the intensity that he or she would normally be capable of.

Fusion Dance
Fusion Dance (Fūsion hā) is a technique that is introduced by Goku during the Fusion Saga. His son, Goten, fuses with Trunks in order to create Gotenks. The purpose of the Fusion Dance is to temporarily merge two bodies into a single, superior entity.

To correctly perform the Fusion Dance, the fusees must create a perfectly symmetrical image of one another. The Fusion Dance is a short series of poses that are performed by two characters of equal power levels, roughly equal size and same race. In the series, the result of a correctly performed Fusion Dance is a superior being whose power is multiplied severalfold over that of the individual fusees. If one character performs the dance wrong, then it will result in an obese character who is much weaker than either fusee individually. If the timing of the poses is off, it results in a sickly looking fusion who is also much weaker than each fusee individually. Regardless, the fused character possess mixed physical traits of their original counterparts. If they synchronize their dance correctly, it results with a very powerful being. Additionally, all end products of the Fusion Dance seem to acquire the same attire: white pants, a sash, and a vest with yellow or orange padding around the shoulders and neck

Heat Dome Attack
Heat Dome Attack (ヒートドームアタック) is Future Trunks' final and most powerful attack in his Super Saiyan form. First, Future Trunks throws his opponent up in the air and points both his hands up in the air. Then, he charges a large dome of yellow energy around himself. From this energy dome expels a gigantic Finish Buster up at the opponent, inflicting an enormous amount of damage.

Hell Flash
Hell's Flash (ヘルズフラッシュ Hell's Flash) is an energy wave used by Android 16. he removes his hands, revealing two built-in cannons, and charges up energy before shouting "Hell Flash!!" to release a powerful beam of energy that scorches the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

Kaio-Ken

Kaio-ken (界王拳, "Fist of the World King" or "World King Fist") is a fighting technique invented by King Kai. However, Goku is the only person ever able to successfully use it. It is a technique that multiplies the user's ki for a "heart beat", enabling them to inflict serious damage to opponents who are considerably stronger than them. After the introduction of the Kaio-ken, it became one of Goku's signature attacks; however, it became greatly overshadowed by his ability to become a Super Saiyan later on in the animated series and manga. While in the state, the ki aura's color becomes crimson.

Kamehameha
Kamehameha (かめはめ波, lit. "Turtle Devastation Wave" or "Turtle Destruction Wave") is the first energy attack that is shown in the Dragon Ball series. It is first seen in Manga volume 2 and in "The Kamehameha Wave" (the episode 8 of the Dragon Ball anime). The Kamehameha Wave is the most widely used finishing attack in the Dragon Ball series, and is Goku's signature attack. It is also a signature attack of the Turtle School.

• Reverse Kamehameha
  Reverse Kamehameha (逆かめはめ波) is jet-fired version of the Kamehameha. The user fires a Kamehameha directly at the ground, propelling them up through the air in a jet-like manner. The technique is mainly used as a way to change directions quickly, remain airborne longer, or to fly through the air quickly, all of which apply for non-fliers. Master Roshi first used this technique as Jackie Chun during his match against Krillin at the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament.
  
• Kaio-ken Kamehameha
  Kaio-ken Kamehameha (界王拳かめはめ波; ; Literally meaning "World King's Fist, Turtle Destructive Wave"; ) is a combination of the Kaio-ken technique and the Kamehameha used by Goku. Goku transforms into his Kaio-ken form and uses the Kamehameha, inflicting powerful damage depending on what Kaio-ken level he is using for the attack. The only known Kaio-ken levels he used for the attack are Kaio-ken x3, Kaio-ken x4, and Kaio-ken x20
  
• Multiple Kamehameha
  Multiple Kamehameha (マルチプルかめはめ波) is a combined version of the Kamehameha. Two or more fighters fire multiple Kamehamehas (one per fighter) simultaneously at a single point. This usually causes their separate Kamehamehas to merge into one giant Kamehameha blast at the opponent.
  
• Continuous Kamehameha
  Continuous Kamehameha (連続かめはめ波, Renzoku Kamehameha; ; Literally meaning "Continuous Turtle Destructive Wave"; ) is a rapid-fire version of the Kamehameha used by Goku. Goku fires the Kamehameha many times at a very rapid rate from both hands, inflicting a great deal of damage.
  
• Angry Kamehameha
  Angry Kamehameha (怒りのかめはめ波) is a yellow colored, one-handed version of the Kamehameha Wave used by Goku in his Super Saiyan form. First, Goku draws his hand back to his upper side and charges a yellow energy sphere. Then, he shouts, "You Fool!" as he brings his hand forward and fires an emanating yellow energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.
  
• Flying Kamehameha
  Flying Kamehameha (フライングかめはめは) is a fly-charging version of the Kamehameha used by Goku in his Full-Power Super Saiyan form. Goku flies up into the air at the opponent while cupping his hands at his side and saying, "Ka... me... ha... me...". Then, he stops as he brings his hands forward and and fires the attack with the final syllable, “…ha!” at the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.
  
• Instant Kamehameha
  Instant Kamehameha (瞬間移動かめはめ波) is a combination of the Instant Transmission and Kamehameha used by Goku in his Super Saiyan form. First, Goku charges up for the Kamehameha up to, "Ka... me... ha... me...". Then, he uses the Instant Transmission to transport infront of the opponent while he is still charging the attack. Finally, Goku fires the attack with the final syllable, "...ha!" against the opponent, inflicting an enormous amount of damage.

Ki Blasts
Ki Blast (気砲, Kikō; ; ; literally translated as Spirit Blast) is an energy wave technique in the Dragon Ball franchise. It has made appearances in almost every video game spun off by the series, particularly the Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series, where it is the most basic and common form of energy wave. Its power is usually determined by the amount of energy put into it, or the person using it, as one of Broly's or Kid Buu's can easily destroy a planet.

Magic Materialization
Magic Materialization (Bushitsu Shyutsu Gen Majyutsu) is a magical ability used to create physical matter out of thin air. This does count as matter manipulation.

Masenko
The attack is performed by the user placing both hands above the head with the palms facing the target and one hand in front of the other with the fingers going in opposite directions. When the user thrusts their hands forward, they call the name and fire a beam of yellow, white, or orange energy.

• Super Masenko
  Super Masenko (超魔閃光) is a more powerful version of the Masenko used by Gohan. First, Gohan raises his hands above his head like the normal Masenko, but charges it with more power. Then, while it is being prepared, some of the excess energy are released as streaks of yellow electricity. Finally, Gohan brings his hands forward and fires the attack at the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Mouth Energy Wave (口から気功波) can be considered a generic term for any energy beam shot from the mouth.

Multi Form
Multi-Form Technique (四身の拳, Shishin no Ken) is a bunshin-type technique used by Tien Shinhan. To perform it, Tien powers up and splits into two, then those two split clones into four. Unlike the Afterimage Technique, these are tangible clones not just imprints left by speed.

Mystic Attack
Mystic Attack (ミスティックアタック) is a technique that allows the user to extend his or her arms or legs. It is commonly seen in use by Piccolo, as all Namekians are able to use this technique.

Planet Burst
Planet Burst (プラネットバースト) is Kid Buu's most powerful attack. First, Kid Buu raises his right hand in the air and gathers his energy in the form of a giant bright-pink energy sphere. Once it is ready, he launches the energy sphere at the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage

Power Ball
Power Ball is an energy sphere used by Saiyans to mimic the presence of a full moon. By combining ki with the planet's atmosphere, a sphere of condensed Blutz Waves is created. Using this, a Saiyan can achieve the Great Ape transformation even when a full moon (or similar planetary body) is not present

Purple Comet Attack
Purple Comet Attack (パープルコメットアタック) is a powerful combination of Jeice's Red Magma and Burter's Blue Hurricane. Jeice and Burter both fly together in a manner similar to Purple Spiral Flash, but make a different looking vortex. Instead of firing multiple Ki Blasts, the vortex dashes toward the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage if it hits.
