Itzapapalotl had taken to walking amongst her mother's Jungle for the after noon. It was still her common practice. At first it was to familiarize herself with the many different paths, but from there her desire evolved into something more of a recreational practice. The songs of the birds were relaxing to the nerves. Not that her life produced much stress, however, even she felt she needed to get away now and than.
Her head held high as she gracefully navigated her way through many winding paths. The sun filtered through the large leaves above giving anything below a soft emerald light. In some areas, where the leaves did not block the rays, golden light beamed toward the jungle floor giving anything it touched a brilliant spotlight.
Where the river cut through the jungle the sun's rays were the brightest. The rays hitting the water just perfectly causing them to sparkle like millions of diamonds. Itzapalotl's favorite spot was where the one forked into two separate bodies of water. On the eastern banks there were very few animals that ventured into her little area. The vines here were adorned with flowers of many different types and colors. Each with their own alluring fragrance.
It was here Itza stopped from her walk to watch the river and the sky and to enjoy the tranquility of her secret place.

Bissy was on the other side of the stream, not at all paying attention to her, nor anyone else really. In fact, his head was lowered, ears perked straight forward and it seemed his horn was pressing into something and glowing.
He had wandered into this jungle, unknowing, like most. His attention at the moment was actually focused on a bird, that she wouldnt be able to see past the bushes in front of it. It seemed the creature was somehow harmed, its wing torn slightly as it hobbled around. It was too beautiful of a creature to lose, or so he thought, so he focused his energy on healing it. He was quite versed in the healing ways of a unicorn, and often found himself using them to help others, even if he was more of a wanderer.

Itzapalotl took quick notice of the bright stallion. Her feathers ruffled at the sight of someone new in her mother's territory, or even her territory as far as she was concerned. This little piece of heaven was her's alone.
Despite this urk She felt it would be to her benefit to study the stallion a bit more. Perhaps he would reveal something she could use against him.
Her head lowered as she stepped closer to the water's edge to get a better look at this male. What was he up to? Her curiosity had caused her caution to fade just slightly and she was no longer hidden amongst the trees.

In the few moments she chose to step forward, the healed bird sprang from the bushes and into the sky with a flutter of wings and color. His head lifted with it quickly to watch it go, and as he did so, he caught sight of her, although for the moment he didnt look at her. He just smiled, honestly and shook his hair from his face as he spoke outloud, almost as if he were speaking to the bird.
"Ah there we go... all better," his voice was smooth and light.
Finally his eyes shifted to the female and he nodded, bowing his head a bit in respect as he would any female, or rather any other horse he met. His smile never once left his lips. "Hello there..." he offered.

Itzapalotl payed the bird no mind. She had seen plenty of the gorgeous creatures. The one in front of her had more cause for attention.
She wasn't sure to be appalled, flattered, or amused. This was the first male she had ever encountered, Seeker aside, that seemed to have a brain. Or any respect for that matter. The thought of the previous male she encountered made her feathers bristle.
"Good day..." Was all she offered in response. He tone neither cool nor welcoming. It was as dry as could be. Mentally she was still trying to determine what to think of the unicorn before her.

Her tone didnt deter him in the least. He had been around enough to know that others werent always so welcoming or trusting. And from what he had seen in the world, he couldnt blame them. He, however, had no reason to be otherwise.
His lips kept a soft smile as he kept eye contact with her, his tail flicked a bit behind him. "I hope Im not intruding?" he looked around a bit. "I simply found such a beautiful place as I was wandering, and wished to bask in the colors here for a bit."
He looked back to her. "If I am intruding, please accept my deepest apologies, and if you would be so kind to show me the way, I will leave immediately."

He was already now higher on her list that -that- other 'foal' she meet a while back. At least his words were not hollow. Or his mind for that matter.
"You are fine where you are." She answered with a softened tone. "I do not get many visitors here, it is only strange to have one now."
Her tail flicked. "Do you live close?"

GunSniper He was already now higher on her list that -that- other 'foal' she meet a while back. At least his words were not hollow. Or his mind for that matter.
"You are fine where you are." She answered with a softened tone. "I do not get many visitors here, it is only strange to have one now."
Her tail flicked. "Do you live close?"
Her words almost made him chuckle. They showed the obvious guard she was on, and he was amused. Of course, not in a disrespectful way, but he was one of such peace it amused him. "Ah, I dont really live anywhere," he shrugged. "I come and go wherever the wind takes me." He nodded to her wings, "However it might be easier if I had a set of those," he chuckled. (( sorry I dont use Firefox anymore so no colorful text for me cause Im too lazy :B ))

"A wanderer than?" Itzapalotl's head slightly cocked to the side. She was certain enough that the movement would not betray her elegance. It was something she had been taught to be.
She ruffled her wings and gave the unicorn a slight bow at his comment. "Yes, they do make 'following the wind' 'a little more easier. But there is still the option of running with it. And I can see you are well equipped for that."
Her words didn't really sink in until moments after they were spoken. She turned her head away sheepishly trying to make it seem more like she was distracted by one of the vibrant colored flowers than embarrassed by the subtle complement. This feeling was something completely foreign to her. Not once in her life had she subtly complemented anyone or felt awkward over a word she had spoken.

He smiled the moment the compliment left her lips. He could almost feel her blush and, in turn, returned the bow. "You honor me" his voice was smooth and were he a lesser male it might have taken a different, persuading inflection.
He felt no need to push her into an uncomfortable position, so he decided to change the subject a bit. He lifted his head a bit, looking over his shoulder and to the sky. "The night is coming soon, I should find a place to rest."
He left it open ended like that, but was not at all searching for a specific response.
