 More on Manelin: Manelin is afraid of blue. As in, fearful-for-his-very-life kind of afraid of blue. He used to react badly as a toddler whenever he saw blue and had extremely violent reactions everytime he was forced to touch blue. He linked blue with water in his mind, and was terrified of drowning. His old roommates knew this, and were constantly tormenting him by showing him something blue, or throwing blue items at him. If he was asleep, he would be woken up with a bucket of ice-cold water poured over his head. His matron had demanded that he be placed in a small room of his own (with no blue anywhere), with a matron guarding the only entrance and exit, so that he wouldn't have "episodes" every time one of his roommates tormented him. His matron personally sleeps in the room beside his, so that the only way to Manelin was through the matron's room. As a child, he started to know the difference between blue and water, and has become immune to blue, more so around a recent teen named Taliesin. He still disliked blue and water, however, and was still terrified of drowning. As a teen, his blocked powers seem to have no trouble heating up his emerging emotions... or in making his male hormones rage out of his control when pretty females are around. He prefers reds, oranges, and yellows. He'd have his matron color his room in such fiery colors if he didn't already know that he couldn't alter the room very much. He is very much in tune with anything fire, and many believe that his element will be fire when tested.

Rules:
001) Please observe guild rules and Gaia's TOS. None of us want to get into trouble.
002) Don't post here unless you either are a GHE caretaker or have permission. Those that have permission? Erm...
003) Please do not steal/ask to buy Manelin. He's my darling. If you want a kiddling like him, go to the main thread and buy your own.
004) Personal Role Plays are allowed in here. Just color your post a certain color (gray) so the rest of us can tell the difference between journal entries, rps, and whatever the guild mods throw at me. If you want, you can add the Role Play sidebar as well. (Use the imgright/imgleft buttons to put it in.)
005) Manelin will take whatever you want to give him (within reason). Please color these posts indigo so I can easily find them. IC (In Character) would be best, but isn't necessary.
006) Copying this format within the guild is allowed, crediting me is nice, but you don't have to if you don't want to. Ask me for the url if you want the coding: I have a version in .txt.

 Room Info:
Manelin's current living quarters is one of the many rooms that the colorless toddlers and children live in. His room is designed for isolation. His bed, standard size, has the same green color bedding as his baby blanket and a small nightstand nearby. On top of the nightstand is a glass box, where a frog lives. His cubbyhole stores most of his items. The closet across from his bed holds his clothes. The bookcases contain a few books, including coloring books, several blank pads of paper, and a journal. On the top shelf of the corner bookshelf are mementos of his life: a baby blanket, a pacifier, and various shiny/pretty items he has picked up. A toy box squeezed between the bookshelves and the wall contains the toys his cubby cannot hold. Covering the floor is a green wall-to-wall carpet, placed to cushion falls. Other then that, the room is empty, save for a few scribbles adoring the walls. Beyond the door is a spare room, mainly used by his Matron. It is designed in shades of gray, with only the night stand and sole bookshelf giving color to the space. The floor is covered in gray tiles for easy cleanup. The door out of the room is in this area, to help prevent the child from conducting late-night walks, or from anyone else conducting late-night walks to terrorize the child.

For those who Curse and Swear Elementals would curse with their element. For example: Air: Wind blow it! Fire: Scorch it! (Or Burn/Char/etc) Earth: By the tree! (Or Trunk/Mother Earth/etc) Water: By the wave! (Or Current/River/etc) Children would (first of all not be encouraged to curse and swear ^.^) probably use any of the above indiscrimately. Or just in general: Blast it. Dang. Darn. By the Elements. Just remember: There's no religion. So no GD-ing or anything of that sort.

A Lollipop  A little boy crept into the darkened room. He had wanted to do this since he first met the little baby at the adoption table where his Matron had stopped on the way to class. The really old guy was giving out lollipops but the more Tali thought about it, the sadder he got that none of the babies got lollipops.
So he had waited all day with the lollipop sitting in his pocket, getting sticky and gathering lint. Silently he stood on tiptoes and peered into the bassenet. There was the baby that got given to Parmida's caretaker while he had watched. Carefully he tried to place the candy in the bassenet but Taleisin just wasn't tall enough. A couple footsteps down the hall encouraged the boy to hurry up, so 001 just dropped the lollipop in there and ran for the door. The footsteps casually passed by and Tali got out of the room as fast as he could.

Kakashi: Hiya Tali! My name is Kakashi Hatake! *turns to Manelin* Hey Manelin, I got something for you! *digs in his belt pouch and pulls out random blue objects giving the to Manelin to see his reaction to the blue items*
Manelin: *squeaks and hides behind Tali*
Taliesin: *frowns at Kakashi as he spreads his arms out protectively* Don't be mean to Manelin or I'll tell the Matrons on you.
Kakashi: *grins sheepishly and scratches his head with a hand* Sorry, I was joking... *grins widely* Yea, if the Matrons came, I would chop them up! *makes chopping motions with his kunai, then thinks about the Matrons* Okay, well maybe not... They scare me...
Tali: Okay. But don't do it again. Manelin doesn't like blue. *grins at Kakashi's comment about the Matrons* Somehow...I don't think so. Some of them can be really scary, like Nurse.
Manelin: *whimpers but peers out from being Tali to stare at the hungry blue things* Don't let the blue things swallow me... *stares at Kakashi* You scare of Matrons? *in disbelief* Should be scare of Nurses! They mean and bad and Matrons chase them off!
Tali: *laughs awkwardly as he twines the lock of white hair around his fingers*
Kakashi: I have not met Nurse yet... What is Nurse? And Nurse is worse than the Matrons? *looks skeptical* Sorry Manelin, here. *tucks the blue objects back into his pouch and pulls out a red and orange ball, handing it to Manelin*
Manelin: Yes. Nurse is worse than Matrons. Nurse screams and shouts and tries to make you do things. *notices ball* Ooo! *comes out from behind Tali and carefully takes red and orange ball from Kakashi* Pretty! *sits down and plays with ball*
((Starting page 228)) Suspense  Manelin looked up at his matron as she came into his room. "Manelin," she started, "someone left something for you." She handed him a box before turning and leaving. He looked at it curiously for a moment before reading the yellow tag attached. "'To 008 from 001'. Isn't that Tali's number?" he asked himself. He was pretty sure that was Tali's number. He wondered if there was a date that he couldn't open before. He had been wondering before, but now the issue was pressing: What was he to get for Tali? He was thinking about it when his door opened and shut.  He glanced towards the door and blinked. There was another box on the floor near the door. He walked over and picked it up. He glanced at the pink tag and widened his eyes. It was from Parmida. Nice to know she had thought of him as well. He took it over to the other box and placed them both in his cubby before plopping down on the bed. He loathed being grounded.

Notes to self:
- Manelin is smarter, stronger, and in general more powerful than the normal kid. His element of Fire is set in stone. He shall be head of Fire Faction when he reaches adulthood.
- "Your new Experiment has one of the highest potentials for elemental powers that a baby can be born with. If you agree to lock his element to Fire now, when his is an adult he will be head of the Fire Faction." - I agreed.
- "Since he has such a high elemental potential, he has certain physical advantages. He will rarely get sick, be physically fit, and usually better at physical things than the average person. He's not a super human but he will take less time to learn things. Think of all those evil people that have an easy time in school and also excel at sports." - He's going to be fun to RP... xX;
