Zelt'sin had been feeling a little under the weather for the last few days. One of the healers of the pride told her it was because she was over working herself and that she needed rest. She never really did enjoy that idea but she knew that she had to follow that advice. She couldn't completly just stay in the cave for the next few days, and she was feeling a little better, she thought it would be nice to go for a stroll and settle into the river for a little while and splash around some, or lay down in the shallow parts and just close her eyes for a little bit.
Her normally curious movements and odd habits were put to rest for a little while. Just for now, she really didn't feel like it and for that matter didn't have as much energy as she normally did.She was being a little sluggish but once agains he wasn't goign to let it stop her!
She moved closer to the water source of the pride and a smile grew on her face as she lowered herself to the water and started to wade in it some, smiling as she did and soaking up the feeling of the cool water in her fur. This was very nice, very, very nice and she was glad ot be able to relax. She closed her eyes and started to think quietly to herself as she had this moment alone.

Kerusey had been patrolling the grounds, seeing as his brother had no need of him for anything that day. It wasn't really his job to patrol, but Kerusey enjoyed the duty non the less. He was not one to sit around, even during time when his normal duties were filled. He would die of boredom, he thought, with a faint snort as he moved through the landscape with confidence. He nodded and made small talk with people, occasionally, just to strength his connection, but he was looking forward to a moment or two alone.
Putting up a facades was all well and good, and it was easy enough for Kerusey, but it was draining on a person and eventually, became very irritating.
He set off towards the main source of water, glancing up at the sky to test the time. The cubs and youths and such shouldn't there, which made the place noisy, and he was grateful for that. He could ignore others easily, but cubs were so...loud.
Coming into sight of the watering hole, he withheld a scowl at the sight of a familiar figure in the water. Wonderful. Zelt'sin was rather annoying at times, with her bubbly attitude.
However, he smirked inwardly, she was fun to annoy.
"I See You, 'Sister'," he called out, approaching the watering hole.

Zelt was so into what she was thinking, thinking about the pride, thinking about possibly having cubs in the future and even thinking about sleeping, that she didn't notice the male approaching that was until she heard his voice call out. Her ears folded back trying to listen better to where he was coming from. She glanced back at him just to confirm who she thought it was. She let out a bit of a sigh as she looked back, why did he have to head this way when she wasn't really feeling that great, Why did he have to bother her when she wasn't in the mood she didn't exactly understand and she was a little annoyed at this.
She looked at him again before nodding at him. Putting a smile on her face the bets she could. she was going to od her best to keep calm this time. "I see you, brother." She returned the greeting trying to stay as pleasant as she did before. She flicked her tail around a few more times before speaking to him. "Is there something wrong? What brings you here?" She asked curiously wanting to know if there was a reason why he was here.

Spotting the usual smile on her face, Kerusey resisted the urge to smirk back, but instead plastered a faint smile on his face, though it was an odd sight on his usual blank face. He didn't like to fake smile, simply because it made his face ache, but for her, it was worth it - to annoy her, of course. He sent her curious look, inwardly amused at the first thought that she jumped to.
"No, Sister," he told her calmly, "Why must something be wrong to bring me here? I was merely coming down for a relaxing bathe, but I can leave if I am disturbing you?" He said it so innocently, that it was as if he really would turn tail and leave if she asked. He wouldn't, because then he would be without entertainment.
Plus, he really wanted to soak for a while, and get rid of some of that previous annoyance.

"Don't let me chase you away." She said simply with a nod before turning forward again she lifted a paw and brushed some of the water on her face trying to cool off even more. She then realized that she forgot to answer his questions, she felt a little bad but yet at the same time she still wanted him to leave. She glanced toward him and shook her head. "No, I was just surprised to see anyone around here. I thought everyone was off doing their own thing or taking a nap at this time of the day."
She lowered her head again lapping up some of the water and biting her tongue she was still hoping that he would leave soon but as she heard him move some she knew that he wasn't about to go anywhere any time soon. She wanted him to leave but she didn't want to be rude and get up and leave or for that matter deny him the water, she knew that wasn't nice and she didn't want to do that.
"You may join, I don't mind, I'm leaving soon anyway." There she goes, that was a good way to get out of it. She was okay with the idea of dealing with him but right now on the other hand she wasn't feeling that great and she didn't want to deal with much of anyone.

Kerusey inclined his head, in 'thanks' to her, although he would have joined her any way, with or without her invitation. He moved into the water, not far from where she was but not intimately close. He had no desire to bathe with her, nor any desire to really socialise. He sighed, closing his eyes in delight as the water rushed up to cool him. He almost ignored her completely, ducking his head beneath the cool surface to soak his mane and further cool himself.
"Most sane people are," he remarked as he raised his head from the water, answering her response to his question. "However, I was out walking, so I felt I needed a quick dip."
He glanced over at her. "You'll be leaving so soon?" He asked, sounding sad that she was going, though inwardly he was hoping she would hurry up and leave. Now that he was in the water, he had little desire to annoy her. He just wanted to relax a bit.

Zelt nodded at him not really wanting to comment to what he was saying, it was a bit of an odd thing to think that herself and the male were both odd enough to wander around and do the same things at this time of the day, it kind of annoyed her even more. She really just wanted to leave now and go take a nap but she still knew it wasn't nice to just get up and leave. "It's alright to occasionally be wandering around to see whats going on." She nodded politely before sitting up straight letting the water drip off of her it was still very nice.
She was about to say something again before she turned her head away form the water, her nose scrunched up and her claws dug into the ground as she waited to sneeze, she hated that pre-sneeze moment where all of it hurt and she just wanted to sneeze. Just then she sneeze and she crinkled her nose making a face, she was just glad that she didn't sneeze into the water.
she paused for a moment before laughing slightly and shaking her head. "Well... I haven't been feeling good lately and I do think that some time soon I should head back to the den and get some rest." She sighed before shaking her head. "there is so much to do around here though."

Kersuey snorted inwardly. It was okay if he wandered occasionally? He wondered how she would react to know he patrolled almost once a day. More then once, if he was truly bored. Instead, he simply nodded his head, calmly agreeing with her as he continued to soak up the water. His mane was heavy and full of water, so he was bent low to the surface, so as not to hold it up so high and strain his neck.
He ducked his head back under the water completely, and almost missed her sneeze, though he raised his head just in time to hear it. He blinked the water from his eyes and turned to face her, surprised to hear that she was unwell.
"Lingering in the cold water is not a good idea then," he remarked with a shake of his mane, dispelling some of the water which weighed him down. He looked amused by her last sentence, relaxed that he did not even take the opportunely to poke at her --"That is what mates are for, are they not?" he remarked dryly, pointing out that her mate, and his brother, was the king. He could do some of the work, or at least he should -- well, he didn't poke at her much.

Zelt looked at him then grumbled a bit, she didn't like the fact that he said something about her she really just wanted to go back to sleep. She sighed before then smiling and shaking her head, she was getting ready to go home she was really looking forward to it, she wanted to get away from everything.
She shook her head. "It might not be the best but it's nice to feel and relax, laying around for a long amount of time isn't any better." She stood up on all of her paws as she looked at him and shrugged. "He can do it to but there are some things that I like to do and it's annoying to not be able to do them." She was a little annoyed as she spoke, her mate was doing a wonderful job at doing things while shew as sick but she wanted to do it herself, she wannted to do what she normally did and that was all to it. She looked at him then grumbled. "There are things that he can't do on top of that, I hate not being able to do things."

Kerusey looked amused at her grumbling and then bright smile. She was so amusing, with her mood changes. She really tried not to let it show how irritating she found him, and that was almost hilarious to him. If she got really sick, then she would be out of the way when his plan went through, though that wouldn't be nearly as amusing. Oh well, it was not like he could control her sickness, although that would be perfect, if he could.
"Hm, well, it's your choice, of course," he said with a shrug, lapping at some of the water to quench his thirst. "Aah, but the jobs that you care for will still be there later, will they not?" He pointed out, not to make her feel better, but to be snide. As if she hadn't thought of that herself, and that everything he said was new and so interesting to her. Plus, he knew she wanted to leave, and this was delaying her. Always good. "The pride won't fall down without you there for a few days, dear 'sister'," you're not that important.
He smiled at her, though it was edged with a smirk.

She knew she needed to go lay back down and take a break at this point, she didn't like getting frustrated anymore at this point. She flicked her hair out of her eyes once again before lifting her paw and moving it out of the way, it was sticking because it was wet and sticking to her face.
She nodded before making a face. "They will be there, but... I want to do them now." She grumbled again before shaking her head again. "I know it won't but I don't like sitting back." She forced a chuckle before then stretching herself out more and turning around and heading away from the water.``I just like doing these things by myself, they're my jobs." She nodded at the idea.

Kerusey had to respect that, as he was the same when it came to jobs. If he could do it, or if it was his job, then he would try his hardest to do it, even if he was sick or injured. He supposed he had to concede that she had a point.
He nodded his head at her, making a noise in agreement as he stretched out in the water. He hoped she would leave soon, so he could rest amongst the water and ignore all of this 'being polite' and conversational topics. "Well, at least you can rest assured in knowing you won't be replaced while you're sick," he said, with a faint smirk which he hid, his face away from her as he wet it with a paw.

Zelt nodded and then chuckled at the male in agreement. "I guess so." She said simply before she sneeze again, once more turning away from the water. She smiled slightly before nodding to the male again. "I see you brother." she commented, she was about to start walking away before looking over again. "Sorry for not sticking around but I need to rest." Her tone wasn't very annoyed anymore but sassy. She started to trot out toward the den where she slept happy that she was going to be able to take another break.
