................▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅Contrary to popular belief, each colorist has their own set of rules when it comes to customs - so please be sure to read ALL of these rules to make sure we're on the same page. If this is your first time ordering a custom (or even if you're a pro), please refer back to the stickes and announcement threads within this subforum, they will have the information you'll need to know about customs and how they work................................c u s t o mxxR U L E S ❶ Please respect what I have to say. I don't say things only for them to be ignored or disregarded, I say them to save your time and mine.
❷ Omg please be specific! While some colorists enjoy having freedom, I usually do not. Honestly, I am not very comfortable doing a custom where you have a bunch of "you decides!" on the form. I feel as though customs should be customs and you should be telling me exactly what you want every inch of your dog to look like. Freedom is okay sometimes, but please keep this rule in mind before ordering from me
❸ Unless you want something to be private, please post all questions and requests here. I like to keep things organized and I tend to get very busy at times so I can forget. My PM box gets filled up pretty quickly and Gaia loves eating my messages, so keep that in mind before messaging me
❹ Please read everything on the front page! I do not just type all this because I feel like it, it's there for a reason. Each colorist has their own way of doing things, so do not assume you know what you're doing when ordering from me. Read first!
❺ When paying, please try to pay in pure! If this means having to sell items before sending the trade then please do so. I fear for my account, I have no need for many items, and I don't feel like going through the hassle of selling said items
❻ Please fill out everything on the form that applies to your dog! Even things as simple as the color of the inside of the dog's ear is just as important as the color of it's whole body, so please tell me!
❼ Please do not harass me to finish your custom order. I do normally try and estimate an approximate time of completion, but that doesn't always mean it's exact. I have a very busy life outside of Gaia - I am a full-time Graphic Design college student, so cut me some slack
❽ Use reference images! This also relates to the "be specific" rule. I prefer to get everything right (the first time) with your custom, so help me out by posting reference images of what you're trying to describe. Google images, hand drawn images, photos, anything you can think of - it will help!
❾ Cosplays will not be available in regular customs! They will only be available on special "cosplay months" or special events. If there is no announcement about cosplays being available, operate under the assumption that they are not.
❿ Un-canine mutations will not be allowed in customs. Sorry but horns, wings, and extra tails/limbs/whathaveyou will not be offered in customs. There are creative ways around this rule, such as strap on wings or such which are perfectly acceptable. Extreme, un-canine mutations and supernatural things just don't make sense in our setting, and while we occasionally indulge, we'd prefer to keep this to a minimum.................▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

.....................➔ 250k starting at the pup stage
.....................➔ 10-100k in edits depending the difficulty -- I typically don't charge for edits unless they are complex.....................Cosplay Dogs
.....................➔ 300k for a not-so-well-known cosplay
.....................➔ 500k for a well known cosplay
.....................➔ What determines a cosplay to be well-known or not well-known depends on me -- just ask

................▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅Considering every colorist is unique in their own way, I've thrown up a few bits of information that may be helpful to you if you're looking into my custom slots. You will also find a few samples of my edited and unedited works................................c u s t o mxxT I P S ➔ I LOVE edits! While there are certainly some edits I get annoyed with, it doesn't mean I'm not willing to do it. If you want something heavily edited, I'll have a blast.
➔ I tend to ask a LOT of questions when dealing with customs. If there is something I don't understand, I rather ask you directly instead of winging it and having it be wrong. So expect one or more messages from me during the duration of me working on your order (unless it's really simple).
➔ If for some reason I am really struggling with your custom, I will show you the WIP's and ask if you wish to let me continue. Please do not think you're offending me if you wish to cancel your order! You are paying good money for these customs and I rather you be completely satisfied than not at all. Seriously, I'm not going to be mean to you or anything if that happens, that's just silly.
➔ Please be specific! I can't stress this enough, especially when it comes to ordering from me. Like I said previously, I tend to ask a lot of questions, so if you wish to eliminate this, fill out your form thoroughly. This means things like hex codes for colors and even a reference picture of your custom if you can draw. I like to do things right, so being specific helps!
➔ If you have a custom that's mostly "colorist choice," please either consider someone else, or prepare for WIPs and questions.
