This whole move to a new island had started out a bit disorienting, but things seemed to have calmed down a bit, and the few others she'd seen about had seemed about as curious about this land as she was. She was still concerned about her family, it was ingrained in her soul to watch over them constantly, but all seemed to be good on that front...good enough to let her strike out and explore on her own for awhile.
In fact, she was in such a good mood, she was humming a tune she'd once learned as a cub as she trotted along. This led her to thinking about her favorite storyteller, Amor, and wondered what kind of story he'd put together about this particular ghost girl. She began to make up some stories to herself, imagining daring feats of glory until she was lost in her own little world oblivious to what was around her.

 With the change of the land, to the island he hadnt been able to find any of his family besides his sister Sorrow, who well honestly wasnt always the happiest lion to be around.
The love spirit touched lion strolled through the lands, eyes dancing about and touching upon everything he could take in, his glowing paw prints followed behind him, as his scarf left a sprinkling trail of sparkles in his wake.
He wanted to be heart broken, as the girl he had felt something for had returned to her, well her b*****d of a mate. He'd never see the lion as anything else, but he simply couldnt be. He was happy for her...damn his outlook on life, and love.

Lilac's humming progressed from the cub-song to one she'd learned more recently, one that spoke to her heart. While she was in a good mood, still she felt something was missing, but what she couldn't quite put her paw on. In fact, though Rosa (when she'd been around) always complained that she, Lilac, was the prettier sister, the idea of falling in love with anyone seemed...well, impossible. That, and the fact this was the first time she'd taken any time for herself, she felt lost in this big world...what was her purpose?
Wishing on a dream that seems far off
Hoping it will come today
Into the starlet night
Foolish dreamers turn their gaze
Waiting on a shooting star
But, what if that star is not to come?
Will their dreams fade to nothing?
When the horizon darkens most
We all need to believe there is hope
At this point, she climbed ontop of a rock and gazed up at the sky as evening started making itself known. A single star gleamed above, and she stared at it for awhile before continuing, heedless of anyone else around. Lost in both hopes and dreams, she continued her song.
Is an angel watching closely over me?
Can there be a guiding light I've yet to see?
I know my heart should guide me but,
There's a hole within my soul
What will fill this emptiness inside of me?
Am I to be satisfied without knowing?
I wish, then, for a chance to see
Now all I need (desperately)
Is my star to come
Sighing, she finally looked away, a bit embarrased and wondering if anyone had seen her. Probably the best way to make new friends was not breaking out in random bits of song at twilight, after all. Her eye was drawn to a trail of glistening sparkles in the grass, and she lost herself for a time enjoying just that simple beauty, not seeing the lion causing it, nor that fact it was her long lost 'friend' she missed from her cubhood moments.
