Hey, guys, I'm just here to post about how I got hacked today :/. I'm, like the topic title says, curious as to who has ever been hacked.
How frequent this occurs, and does it affect your opinion of Gaia and the community that runs it?
This has actually been the 5th time that I've been hacked.
You can post, vent, or hate. I'm focused on your opinion.

My primary avatar was hacked once. I am fairly certain it was done with a keylogger on a public computer. I never use public machines to access Gaia now, and I have had no problems since.

It was ages ago. I was dumb and got scammed really. xd
Nowadays I cycle between my passwords every time I log in. And of course, I'm now savvy of scammers.
If those ******** want to hack me, they'll need to hack Gaia itself lol _____________________________________________________________________________ Altum Videtur

I've had someone attempt to hack me once (changed my password since then) but that's about it. I never use public computers or talk about my password, nothing like that.
I also don't brag about how much gold or cash I have in order to not draw hacker's attention.
My password is pretty difficult, I'd advise anyone who had frequent issues with hackers to think up of a smart password with upper case, lower case, and numbers. And write it down somewhere secret if you forget really easily. Hopefully that helps you.

I've bin hacked once it was around 3 or 4 years ago a few things were changed but all I lost was some gold nothing of importance.
I changed my password to something very complicated and only I would know sense then i've never had a hacking issue.
