It had just gone 12 o'clock. Oscar had just left his job at Destiny Sports for his lunch break. The store was close to the local park, and Oscar, working at a sports store, had grabbed a soccer ball and was heading there to have a kick and to eat his sandwich. He often worked weekends. Although he'd gotten a scholarship to go to Hillsworth, he still needed some support and his parents weren't going to give him that.
He still had 4 more hours to go after he returned from lunch. Oscar didn't mind. The pay was good, he got to be around lots of sports equipment. And there were a lot of fit girls that came through the sports store.
It only took him 5 minutes to get to the park. He chucked the ball on the ground, took a bit of his sandwich, and began to kick around.

It was such a nice day. Sun was shining and reflecting from small snow hills. It didn't wind at all which was nice. A little cat with cream van patterns and lacy bowtie around her neck was having a short nap on a bench, basking in sun rays that warmed her light fur. It was so peaceful and calm, even though there were people in the park.
But then, something woke her up. The feeling of dark energy. The cat had felt that kind of energy only once before in her life but she knew already what that meant. Youma. The monster wasn't very near but it was approaching her direction, slowly but surely.
The cat jerked up and hopped on the back of the bench, trying to locate the youma. She turned her head around, stiffening her senses and hoping to find out it's origins soon. It didn't take long till she saw something on top of the roof on side of the park. She couldn't form a clear image of it's form but she knew instantly what it was. The eerie energy of youma would not be easily forgotten.
The cat looked around. People in the park seemed to be totally unaware of the danger lurking near them. That made her worried. She needed to get people out. Out of the way so a senshi could come and save the day. So, she hopped off from the bench and sprinted towards the person she happened to see first. Which was a teenage boy playing with a soccer ball and eating sandwhich.
"Meow," she said once she was enough close that he could hear her.

Oscar definitely hadn't noticted in incoming youma. There was a cute girl lounging in the shade of a nearby tree, and he was too busy trying to impress her with his soccer skills. She wasn't paying attention though. Oscar tried a more complicated trick but that didn't work either.
Damn. He thought. What else would attract a girl? And then he was given his answer. A small cat cat had appeared. Oscar guessed it wasn't a stray because it was wearing some sort of elaborate collar. He didn't mind cats, but he was more of a dog person. He bent down to give the feline a pat. Perhaps the girl would come over once she saw the cat. Girls love a cute cat.

Ah, she would had given anything for a chance to enjoy the attention Oscar was willing to give her. But she couldn't, there was more important things to think about now. The dark energy of youma troubled her. She needed to warn people!
As Oscar's hand was a little above her head, she reached up to grab end of his sleeve between her teeth. She pulled lightly his sleeve before letting go, taking couple steps away from youma's direction. "Meow," the cat said, asking him to follow herself in her language. Cat's creamy-colored tail swung nervously from side to side. She looked at the girl under the tree. Should she go to her next?
Her question was answered quickly. A dark shadow flew above them and landed in between them and the girl under the tree. Suddenly, the park was filled with screaming when the youma - which was like a bizarre mix of ski set and praying mantis - roared it's hunger.
And then Oscar could find the cat clinging onto him and mewing in panic.

Oscar kept glancing over towards the girl while he was petting the cat, making his strokes more and more obvious each time. Couldn't she see there was a cat over here? He was smiling in her direction too, but still she did not seem to notice.
Then, the cat had his sleeve. Why the hell was a cat holding his sleeve? "What do you want cat? Get off.." he said as he gave his arm a little shake, trying to rid himself of the cat who wasn't being much help at all at picking up the girl. Useless.
Oscar looked up as the shadow flew overhead, frowning. "What...?" he muttered, trying to see what it was, forgetting about the cat for a moment. When it landed, he could see what it really was. He'd heard about these monsters on the news, but he'd never come across one. Not until now anyway.
"Oh s**t!" he yelled as it landed. Oscar was freaking out, so much so he didn't even notice the cat suddenly clinging him. It wasn't untill he heard it's mewing between the yells and screams of the other park goers that he realised it had latched onto him.
"Get off me!" He yelled, trying to shake it off so he could make a getaway.
