As a sort of present for not failing at life (And a present for my sister graduating High School too) and due to the fact that this is probably the last time in many years that we'll have this opportunity, my mother, my sister and I are going on a cruise in the Mediterranean.
I'm leaving this Friday. I'm...excited and nervous. The last time I went on a cruise, within a week of my return my father passed away and my girlfriend of like three years broke up with me, causing me to become a recluse for almost a year, not talking to almost anyone. (And shying away from here 'cause...well it was Coonie so yeah.)
The last cruise I went on, celebrating my graduation and my father's retirement was pretty fun, even though he was forced to stay home for his health. I hope this one will be more fun than the last, with less early-mid-life crisis and stuff. ^_^;
I'M GOING TO SPAIN. AND ITALY. AND TURKEY which was going to be Egypt but they decided to throw a revolution and not invite the cruise company. BUT I'M OKAY WITH THAT. It's a trip of a lifetime, and I'm sure the two weeks will flash by in an instant.
After this, I think I'll be good for globe trotting for a few years. My wallet agrees. But hey, you only live once, right? So I'm gonna see what's out there. Maybe I'll find something amazing. Also, while it will cost me a small fortune to use the internet on the boat, I'll swing into this thread and post a couple pictures if I can, every now and then. =D

I have returned! 8000 kilometers in one day was so exhausting that I then proceeded to sleep for about a day and a half. But I survived! It was...interesting. I learned a lot, but I certainly didn't get much rest or relaxation. I'm not used to being constantly on the go D:
Pictures in a couple days, most likely. They're still on the camera which is not here. neutral
Not sure if you guys are up on your world events but...
Best part of the trip was probably when we visited Malta two days after Libyan fighter jets landed there. Was intense, being on (just about) the only cruise ship in the Mediterranean, and being so close to Libya's coast. It only took those jets 15 minutes to fly there from their base.
Anyway, more sleep now, I think. Jet lag is lame. I got on a plane at 6AM, then getting off the plane at 10AM. I was on the plane for 10 hours. I find this awesome for some reason.

I've been so insanely busy recently that I just now got around to the whole pictures thing. However, I only have one picture, because it's the one taken with the shitty camera that we used by accident and the new camera that doesn't suck is doing a spectacular job of not being recognized right now and I'm too damn lazy to fix it 'cause it's one in the morning and this ended up being a run-on sentence because I'm just THAT out of it right now.  Yes, that's me. That's my "Oh you're pointing that at me =[ " face. Also I'm really really cold. Anyway, that's in Spain, on the wall of a fort on a cliff overlooking the port of Barcelona. It was pretty awesome.

(that's what she said) It's up on MontJuicThat whole place has a really interesting history. As a defensive fort, it was used more on the Spanish than by the Spanish, firing 2500 shots over 80 days into the city itself. I found this so interesting that I remembered the numbers. lol Also, to better show how big it really is, I'm just over six feet tall.
