( Backdated RP. Hush, I'm still working on Christmas stuff. XD )
It was the first day of Winter Break. It was the first day of Winter Break and after spending the day with her parents, including a dinner that Lucien both Lucien and Rikard (that b*****d) had been invited along to, she was antsy (to say the very least). Cordelia Carden wanted to punch something and, to keep it from being Rikard at breakfast the next morning, she sent her cousin a text letting him know that she was heading out later that night... That he could come along, but he had to leave his stupid ex-roommate at home, preferably shoved into a bag if not just asleep.
After all of the lights in the house had gone down she made her way downstairs, bundled up in clothing heavy enough to keep her warm against the evening chill until she was far enough from the house that she could henshin up without trouble. She had decided that she would give Lucien ten minutes before she left without him. Ten. Minutes.

He'd expected Cordy to not like that he'd invited Rikard along but it had seemed to get under her skin more than he'd expected. At least so far he'd managed to keep her from kicking or punching him and had excused both himself and Rik early from dinner. He'd been pondering Cordy's text all day and wondering how he'd ever manage to get out without Rik asking stupid questions.
It had come down to telling him Cordy wanted to do some christmas shopping while most people were having dinner and that it was hard to shop for someone while they were around. It had worked, sorta.
He'd at least managed to get out and was sure Rik wasn't following him. When he got far enough away from the house to feel safe he henshined up and dug out his phone to send a message to his cousin.
Where are you?

You took too damn long. Meet me at the park.
Corvus huffed as she stuffed her phone into what was, sadly, the safest place in her pocketless fuku; down the front. The face she made was more because of how cold the damn thing felt than because of any sort of discomfort. Sadly, once more, she had become used to keeping her phone there if only because it never stayed in her sash and she hadn't ever been able to figure out whether or not it was possible to get a new one (without facing Astraea's wrath) if something happened to the first.
She would give Arsinoe another ten minutes before heading in the direction of the dark energy that she could feel not far from where she was, the only thing keeping her from dashing off now being the knowledge that every other time she'd done that she had regretted it... And it would be harder to hide some things while home for the holiday.

He shook his head as he read the message from his cousin and sighed. Of course she was being short with him. She was probably going to be angry for weeks form him bringing Rik.
Tucking his phone away he headed straight for the park. He was getting better at feeling energies and as he got closer he was able to feel Corvus. Crunching his way through the snow he paused at the start of a path when he saw her. "... guessing we're going after whatever it is i feel that was?" He waved a gloved hand off in the direction of a darker source of energy that he'd started to feel as he neared the park

She nodded once, stormy eyes lingering in the direction of the energy that they were both sensing, debating on whether or not she actually wanted to answer her cousin or if she just wanted to take off and hope he followed.
For once, Corvus opted on not being a b***h to someone who wasn't on her team (never mind that she would always consider Luc an honorary member...). "I think it's a youma, but I can't tell all that well from over here. Means the best way to find out is going to be to head over there." She shrugged her shoulders lightly as she uncrossed her arms before glancing over at her cousin. "... Sure you're not going to freeze your toes off running through the snow?"

He looked down at his feet for a moment. "No but it's not like i've got a choice. Unless you've got toe socks hidden in all that ruffle." He smirked slightly. "I think it's a youma. At least it feels about right to be one."
Since that's all he'd come across he expected that the Negaverse agents themselves would feel different. Not that he was really looking forward to running into any of them.

"No toe socks, but I do have my phone!" A devilish grin spread across her face as she reached between her breasts to produce the piece of plastic, flipping it open long enough to dazzle her cousin with the sudden bright light before folding it back up to tuck it safely away once more.
"Now if we're done discussing wardrobes, including their various malfunctions... Can we please go kick some a**?"

"As long as it's not my a**." He wasn't even going to go there with Cordy keeping her phone ... there. At least he had a belt he could tuck it in or just let it vanish back into whatever subspace it liked to live in when he wasn't paying attention.
He shook his head and headed off toward the energy source. He couldn't run that fast in the snow but at least being a senshi gave him a bit of grace he didn't usually have and he didn't fall on his face into any snow piles

"C'mon, Arsinoe... Try and keep up." She flashed her cousin another grin as she took off, not actually running through the snow as much as she was using her own athletic senshi abilities to bound, carefully landing without sinking too deep before springing off to the next 'safe spot'. It was, all in all, a little like building hopping... At least when it came to landing on benches and posts while avoiding the giant mounds of snow.
Corvus finally skidded to a halt, eyes wide with something that seemed to be a mix of horror and horrible amusement as caught sight of the 'power' that they had been sensing. A giant chicken youma had made a nest in one of the park's shrubberies, surrounding itself with eggs that seemed to be... Leeching energy from something.
"Ugh... Gross."
Suddenly, she was very glad that she had ordered steak for dinner...

He followed after Corvus as best he could trying not to curse her for being able to jump around so easily. He would forever curse whoever thought it was a good idea to give him oldschool shoes to fight in.
"Wait ... why is your phone down your shirt and not just in subspace? You do know it can go bac.... Is that a -chicken-?"
He skidded to a halt beside his cousin and stared at the monstrosity sitting happily in the shrubs. "That's an oversized, fat, chicken. In a shrub. In the city park. And we have to fight it?" Were they kidding?

"It looks so... Comfortable." Her brow furrowed as she stared at the creature that looked like it might be, for all purposes, sleeping in its nest. "I... Well... We can't just leave it here." How the hell were they even going to start to fight that thing, anyways?
Corvus shook her head, raven-black locks bouncing against her feathered shoulders as she did so, eyes lingering on the chicken youma for a bit longer before they turned on her cousin. "... Rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to wake it up?"

He turned his head slowly from the chicken to look at his cousin again. "Oh no. You wanted to fight. You go piss off the chicken." he grinned and crossed his arms over his chest. She may have been higher rank than him technically but he would still pull the "i'm older than you" card if he had to. She'd never get out from under being his little cousin, ever.
He was not about to make himself look like an idiot by going to kick some evil chicken out of it's nest. She'd be lucky if he ever admitted that this had even happened. Senshi didn't fight chickens

"Ugh, fine." She huffed, eyes narrowing as she crossed her arms over her chest, muttering something along the lines of 'you're such a girl' once she was mostly out of ear shot. Her 'storming' movements slowed just a bit as she neared the youma, unable to deny that however freakish this thing was it at least had power; a fact that was undeniably clear now that she was even closer to it. Whatever energy the eggs surrounding it had certainly couldn't be helping either...
"Well, Corvus, you said you wanted to kick some a**..." The senshi murmured to herself as she uncrossed her arms, pausing for one more brief moment... Before kicking the chicken right in its feathered fanny only to spring back, waiting for the inevitable counter-attack that... Didn't come.
"What the ********." Corvus glared at the youma for another moment, eyes narrowing further as if her glare alone would be easier to wake it up with than a kick had been. "Oh, come on." She huffed, kicking it again for extra emphasis before stepping back, placing one gloved hand on one of the glowing eggs while leaning on it as she contemplated her next movement...
... Only to realize that the only next movement she might need to make would be to run as the youma's eyes opened, beady and red set against the blue of the chicken's face, expression clearly pissed.
"... I think it's awake."

He watched as his cousin stomped her way over to the youma, surprised it didn't wake up, and contemplate how to wake it up. She was -damn lucky- that the sight of her kicking a giant chicken in the a** didn't mean he spent the next two hours on his a** laughing at her.
He'd expected that to wake the monster up but it, and the second kick, didn't seem to do much to it. When she leaned on the egg and the youma woke up he cursed slightly.
"Obviously ... you might want to -run- now." There was no way something that big could run all that fast right?

"You're supposed to be helping." Corvus hissed as she scrambled back away from the egg, almost as if that would somehow be enough to make the chicken close its eyes again. Hell, maybe if it did she could just... Let her cousin whack her with something until her powers worked so she could obliterate the damn thing that way.
Not... That letting Arsinoe do that would make her really want to do anything other than blast him, but...
From the spot she'd sprung back to she watched in a mixture of awe and horror as the chicken slowly rose up on its trunk-like legs, feathers rustling as two... Arms? The ********... Chickens didn't have arms... slid free from where they'd been nestled. "It was him." She said quickly, extending a gloved hand to point in the direction of Sailor Arsinoe, much as she had once a very long time ago when they were children.
... When in doubt, stick to what you know.
