Castle Town, so nice this time of year, so many things to buy, sell, indulge in. So many fine people; women specifically, with fat egos and even fatter pockets just waiting to be plundered by someone oh so charming as himself! Oh yes, Triton absolutely loved castle town, as long as he wasn't a subject of interest for others ire, he actually did quite well here.

"You are..glowing.." Thurn, perched upon Tritons shoulder, eyes narrowed sleepily like a warm cat lazing in the sun. Quietly, intently paying attention to all that passed, he did not 'enjoy' the cityscapes, nor did he 'disenjoy' the people simply held little interest, colorful blurs of noise. Thurn never missed an opportunity to watch Tritons engagements when he wandered in to such places though, the man attracted mischief and misfortune like a magnet attracted various metals..

"S'cuse me Thurn? I think the word your looking for is 'beaming' or maybe even, joyful. Glowing is something only fairy's and women do.." Triton sighed and shook his head, paying little heed to Thurn. Truthfully he was looking for something. Normally he'd have one reason, and one only for coming to such a place, either to buy supply's, or to make a quick bit of rupee off of unsuspecting 'customers'. For some reason though he was distracted, and he found himself secretly searching for that perfect piece of figure, with bouncy blond hair, and a cute little merchant's stand.. Which sadly, left his gaze darting to every single piece of blond in the square, of which there were many.

He didn't know why he was hoping to see her either, true they'd had a good time, shared hardly a kiss and a fun game of cards. Hell they'd clicked better n any fling he'd ever found himself in, and she didn't even count as a fling!!

He was though, very secretly, hoping to spot her..He knew he couldn't waste his time on such things though, not too much of it at least. He'd drive himself batty doing such things, and loose sight of his ultimate goal.

xxxxxAdriana breathed in a sigh of relief as she left the small clothes shop in Castle Town. The old man there was really quite nice, if not a bit dim. He wore thick, ugly glasses which obscured his vision, so Adriana could usually sneak a few rupees off him in the process. On the plus side, he really did have good choice in clothes. His fashions were always up to date, and hey- he was the one who gave Adriana her scarf in the first place. He really wasn't too bad. As she walked out into the Castle Town sunshine, she smiled and took in the light for a moment, before gazing back to the busy streets.

xxxxxAnd busy they were. Zoras zipped down the street, eager to finish their business and return to the Zora's Domain, only to be disappointed by slow moving Gorons, minding their own business and meandering down the avenue. There were the shouts from all of the venders, screaming about how their wares were better than so and so's wares. How heir prices were lowest, or the quality was far above par. Adriana soaked it all in, enjoying her short stay in the bustling town, before having to head back to the solitude of the streets. She quickly combed through the newly curled ponytail on the side of her head, enjoying her style change. True it was a bit uncomfortable, but new clothes were always a joy. While looking at her blonde hair, she thought of another blonde hylian she had met. I wonder if Triton would like my hair... she thought absentmindedly.

xxxxxShaking her head, she realized that was silly. Even if she met him again, it certainly wouldn't be in Castle Town. This place was a zoo of people, and the chances of him being here, let alone Adriana spotting him were slim to none. Smiling to herself, she hopped on the back of the nearest wagon, holding on with only one hand, and hitchhiked to her next destination: the Castle Town gates. True, as much as she loved her home town, she needed to get back to Ezhno, who was off somewhere in the fields of hyrule doing "something of great importance." He did it every once in a while, though Adriana wasn't really sure why. But then, Ezhno had always been a faithful companion, so Adriana didn't mind if he needed alone time every once in a while.

xxxxxBut what Adriana saw next totally caught her by surprise. A pair of violet eyes and blonde hair was now gazing straight at her, and Adriana's body acted without thought. She held out her spare hand from the wagon and shouted, "Triton! Over here!" She blushed at how brass she was being, and the few people unaccustomed to Castle Town's shouts and screams that stared at her didn't make it any better. But at the moment, she didn't really care- she simply wanted a chance to talk to the hylian entertainer once more.

"I smell..the color yellow.." Thurn drawled out, nose in the air and heavy head tilted out across Triton's shoulder, as if seeing some invisible thing that Triton didn't even want to try and understand. "You smell what? You cant smell colors, I don't care how 'magical' you are, that's just down right insane.." Triton had the distinctive urge to smack the little esper right off his shoulder, though he doubted that'd clear Thurns head any, he was always odd like that.

"Oh but I do, and there it is, it smells very yellow indeed.."
Thurns often non-existent grin creepily spreading across his face. Reaching out with a clawed paw and painfully yanking on Triton's long hair, causing the man to yelp and twist around. Forcing him to stare..at..at the impossible sight that was not so impossible, and quite a bit more lovely then he remembered. Triton almost thought that he was imagining it, but when Adriana also called out to him, he was sure. He wasn't just seeing an illusion, it was actually her, here of all places! Perched atop a wagon and calling his name. Hell he was just glad that she'd even bothered to remember his name! Most women didn't, not because he wasn't worth remembering of course, simply because he didn't need them too..yeah that was it..

"A-Adriana!"
Thurns tail smacked the back of his head and he winced softly, tossing the esper a glare before turning his full attention back to the lovely blushing vision before him. "You little minx, whats a flower like yourself doing out here amidst all these weeds!" She looked different, in a good way. Her style more fitting, though she'd certainly look good wearing even less, what she had on now wasn't bad either. Her hair was absolutely...sexy, adorable? A list of things combined, there was something about her hair being up that made her seem a tad bit more mature, and yet also quite flirty at the same time.

Triton didn't want to waste any time, and standing there like a fool chatting at her was doing just that. He took his chance as he watched the wagon slow for a moment, a pair of playing children raced out in front of it. Darting out to catch hold of the thing and hoist himself up next to her. Maybe she was heading in a different direction then he'd planned for himself, but that didn't matter much right now. He wanted to see her up close and in the flesh. After all his imagination could only do so much entertaining before he actually found himself 'missing' someone.

xxxxxAdriana smiled awkwardly when she noticed how close they were, bustling around. She couldn't say she didn't like it though. "Can't say I'm a real ... flower," she said, twiddling the lace on her new clothes, "But thank you kindly." She scrunched up her curls a bit and then nervously asked, "Y-you ... um, d'you like it?" Why would I care if he likes it? she thought to herself. After all, Triton was just a guy. Some guy. Some guy with very pretty violet eyes and scruffy looks and ...

xxxxxHer thoughts were rudely interrupted when the cart went over an unfortunate bump in the rode. It was cliche, and simple, but Adriana's arm slipped off of the wooden plank she was holding, and both slipped onto Triton's chest. It was just like the first time they had "met" in the Hungry Bear, only Adriana's face was a whole lot more red. But for a moment or two, she didn't move. It felt ... nice to lean against him. She could hear his heartbeat for a second, before retracting herself back to her previous position. "Ahhhuhhh ..." was all that came out of her starstruck mouth. Could it be ... I like him? Adriana shook the thought of her mind as soon as it entered.

xxxxxThe cart pulled out in front of The Treasure Chest Shop and Adriana knew she had to hop off. "Well ... this is my stop Triton," in a pathetic sort of way, she asked, "I don't suppose ... you're headed here too?" Behind her back Adriana's fingers were crossed in a dim sort of hope that maybe he was headed here too. It was odd really, a few weeks ago, she would've headed straight into the shop, completely set on making money to earn back her father's shop. But ever since meeting Triton, it seemed like he was a bit more important at the time. She would never forgot her real goal, nothing could keep her from that. But well ... it seemed as though she was quickly gaining a second goal.

"Well I say you are, and your welcome." Triton beamed, he enjoyed complimenting her, and she really did look nice with the new look."Mnn, do I like it..Do I like it.." Triton acted as though he were thinking really hard on the subject, all the while running his eyes over the cute blond before him. He could almost feel Thurn rolling his eyes, the oddly perched esper turning away to crawl down Tritons shoulder and slip right into his travelers bag. He'd done his job, he felt no need to sit around and be bored by his master's attempt at 'wooing', the female. "You know, I think it suits you perfectly-Whoa!"

The bump in the road jostled the pair, and Triton found himself with a bundle of warm girl pressed against him, hands across his chest as she braced herself from falling. It brought the memory of the kiss back fresh in his mind, had it only been a few months ago that he'd found himself in the Hungry Bear Inn, meeting Adriana in such a similar way? Not that he missed the Inn one bit, but the experience had been one worth remembering. He enjoyed it for the few moments it lasted, having her lean against him, being able to smell her sweet soft scent. She did remind him a bit of sunflowers. "Heh, the roads out here, troublesome things.."

"You know what, it's my stop too! It's the craziest of coincidences isn't it?" He was such a liar, but it was worth it if it meant spending the day with her. Besides it'd been a while since he'd been into the Treasure Chest Shop. Maybe they could have some fun together?

xxxxxAdriana frowned and said, "Fits ... me? How so mister?" She wasn't one to take comments lightly. After all, understanding the customer was step one in business. She stood defiantly as Triton hopped down from the cart, spinning his little lie about this being his stop. Adriana wasn't stupid, she knew he was headed elsewhere from the moment she shouted to him on the wagon. But the fact that he wanted to spend time with her made her smile a little, and she said, "We both know you weren't headed here, Bublin." She called him a bublin in a playful way, not meaning anything insulting. It was a common insult in Hylia. Not used by the most proper ladies, but then, Adriana wasn't exactly proper.

xxxxxShe looked back to the tall treasure chest shop that loomed before her. The building was rather new, compared to all of the buildings in Castle Town. It was made of brick and had a flashing sign. The deal was that you were given two treasure chests, one with a key, and one with nothing. If you got the key, you could move on. Normally it was just a game for little kids to play, a place parents took their children for a day filled of birthday party-esque fun. But lately, Adriana had heard talk that the owner had filled the backroom with something real special, and Adriana simply couldn't ignore it. Of course, Adriana never went anywhere unprepared. She had a little ... "trick" up her sleeve. Grinning she said, "Well then Triton, you up to trying your luck?"

xxxxxShaking a bit nervously from the boldness of her endeavor, Adriana took Triton's arm in a sort of chain link and began marching towards the entrance. As she walked, she looked at his entertainer's hands, and had a pang to hold them. Of course, she would never do something so bold. She might be bold enough to walk up to the king of hyrule and sell him a fake figurine, but she was a complete dunce when it came to romance.

"Fits you in the kinda way that doesn't hide all your cuteness, and I can see your eyes much better now with all that hair up in a tail" Triton grinned charmingly, trying not to lay it all on too thick, it was all truth though. She had just the most alluring blue-green eyes, and now he could stare at them properly all he wanted... Reaching up to brush his hair back behind his ears, wincing softly at being caught in the act of lying. "Heh, caught me didnt'cha, we can pretend I was though right?"Triton asked innocently.

His enthusiasm only seeming to grow as they walked up to the flashing shop, "Am I up to it? Hah, of course I'm up to it! Do you mind if I borrow some of your luck first though.." Tritons luck was a very-very fickle mistress, deciding only to only show up when it seemed he needed it the least, and often in the most unlikely of situations. The rest of the time he just did without it, and bemoaned his lack of it when the need was greatest. It was one of the reasons he rarely gambled, he'd find himself a penniless waif sooner then he'd strike it rich if he ever really got into those sorts of games.

Still today had been going pretty well, maybe his luck could hold out long enough for him to have a little fun with Adriana, or at the very least win the lady a prize. Triton's musings stopped short, finding himself tugged along gently, arm in arm with with the little merchant girl. "You know, I cant remember the last time I came here." Pushing the brightly lit doors open for him and Ari before going inside. The place looked different then he'd ever remembered it, brighter, more fun, hard floors and hard walls made of brick and mortar. A big man that could have been considered surly looking if not for the wide grin on his face, and his the deep jolly greeting to them.

xxxxxAdriana blushed a bit, and looked away from Triton, obviously flattered. "Y-yeah we can," she said like a small, timid child. She looked away and stroked her hair with her free hand. Her expression twitched a bit when they met the door eye to eye. Before walking in, Adriana quickly tugged him aside as though the door was poisonous. She then pulled him down a short alley way and ducked behind a few boxes. "Listen here. You can't borrow my luck, but that's cause I don't have luck. Y'see, there's this ah ... mirror? I found down near the base of death mountain. I can't really explain how it works, but uh ... we won't be losing any time soon, uh'kay?" She pulled out the small lens of truth and held it up so Triton could see. It was only when she was done with her short explanation that she realized how close their faces were. She quickly turned away, to hide her wide eyed embarrassment.

xxxxxShe turned around briskly and started heading for the door. She slipped the lens into her back pocket quickly, so as to hide it from the shop owner's sight. Adriana glanced back and said, "You better not tell. The guards are one scream away big boy." Winking she finally took her steps in the treasure chest shop. Bright colors greeted her eyes everywhere. Strange patterns coated the walls and screamed gaudy to the altered, adult mind of Adriana. Of course, it brought her back to her childhood, which was always a giddy, yet anxious surprise.

xxxxxAdriana took less than a few seconds to recompose herself before walking straight up to the counter and smiling at the shop owner and handing over a red rupee. "Ma'am, we'll take one game, thank you kindly," she said happily. The owner looked at her with a sort of a confused, bewildered look. To see someone over the age of 12 that wanted to play the game was a bit of a rarity. But Adriana didn't care. She was in it for the rare prizes and rupees, nothing more. To play with Triton wasn't such a bad touch either. "You ready to test your luck?" she said, looking back at Triton, with a wink.

Triton found himself staring at the magical piece of mirror, wide eyed and impressed with how 'lucky', little miss merchant was. "Why Adriana, you beautiful little cheat you!" Triton could have kissed her, specially with how close they were, might have actually dragged the nerve up from somewhere had she not turned away so quickly. He found himself wishing he'd met her much sooner then he had, and not just because she had the best source of luck in the world.. He wondered if maybe someday he could talk her into selling the mirror off to him, goddess only knew how useful it would come in handy on day to day ventures.

"My lips are sealed sweets, what kind of swindler would I be if I went and ratted myself out along with you? Besides..It's kinda nice to have an edge up on things." Triton purred as he followed, eager to see the place, even more eager to win the prize of the day.

Standing by Adrianas side and smiling charmingly, watching the girl pay for their game for him, and the amusing reaction of the Owner who obviously didn't expect a pair of young adults to come wandering in to play. "Who needs luck when I've got you Ari." Triton grinned back brightly, gently slipping his hand into hers and giving the woman at the counter a little nod as they moved towards the door that led to the first chest..

xxxxxAdriana was redder than red. She was effervescent with embarrassment. Holding hands was nice. It was nicer than nice. But in front of people? More importantly, right as they were about to walk into a closed room? It must have looked so positively ... lewd. Adriana's mind shrieked with resistance, but she could not find it in herself to let go. She took a moment to admire how nicely his hands fit in her own. Then shyly, she let go of his hands to open the door. She didn't return it for fear that her hand might be incredibly sweaty. Now that would be embarrassing. Though she admitted she probably wouldn't mind it. Not at all.

xxxxxCracking open the plain door handle, Adriana ventured inside. The walls were boring as usual, dull colored, and made of stone. Nothing like the bright colors that plastered the front entrance. It was probably just a scam to get people to buy in, only to disappoint. Pathetic as a form of entertainment, really. But the decor wasn't what the people came for, it was the chance at treasure. Big treasure. Scanning the room, Adriana realized someone had punched a convenient hole in the wall, giving the lady at the counter a wonderful view of their shinanigans. Smiling at her fortune, Adriana was now glad she had brought Triton along. He was one big blockade.

xxxxx"Triton dear," she cooed, forgetting her earlier embarrassment for the sake of profit, "Stand in front of that there hole, yeah?" She assumed he was smart enough to figure out why. After all, he had said he was a swindler, had he not? Regardless, Adraian left him to it, and pulled out her small lens. A lens of "truth" the merchant had called it, when Adriana went to identify it. What bull. No small lens could tell you the truth. Even so, it did a different duty than intended, and Adriana couldn't complain about that.

xxxxxOnly now were Adriana's teenage reactions kicking in. She was alone. Alone with a man who she was undeniably attracted to, and who was possibly attracted to her. Maybe the hand holding earlier had just been a sort of adult to child gesture, but secretly, Adriana hoped not. Sure, he was quite a bit older than her from the looks of his physique, but strangely aged couples were nothing new in Hyrule. Turning red, she began to fiddle with the lens, looking down at the treasure chests, avoiding Triton's face with all her might.
