 "Oh... oh dear." Amethysts ears fell with the statement of realization she uttered. She was lost. Again. Having been raised with a human her concept of territory was very limited, so these seemingly endless forests always confused her sense of direction. To be honest being lost wasn't all that big of a deal. She didn't belong to a tribe and had no friends or mates to speak of so she had nowhere to go.
On that note, last time she was lost she got caught foraging for food on a strange tribes territory. They had not appreciated that and had proceeded to chase her off which ended up with her even more lost. It had also taken her an hour to groom herself to be presentable again. Not to mention if she wandered across a bear she didn't know of any hiding places.
All of this was very unnerving and made her feel like she was late despite having nowhere to be. She sat down under a tree to try and regain her composure before starting to find her way out again. She started by breathing slowly, in and out. Next she moved on to some interesting poses that she had seen her human perform after breathing like that. They helped stretch muscles and relax her. Something called "yogurt" she was sure. She knew she looked rather undignified (downward facing dog is difficult to pull off without looking silly) but was resigned to the fact that having a panic attack would be even more so

 Uneventful was one adjective that was not in Godric's vocabulary. So naturally he had no idea how to describe this day. Either way, he was bored. A newly grown adult, Godric had left his mentor, Tios, to explore on his own for the first time. So far, all he had done was walk. Not even another fox in the area, by the smell of it.
Oh, wait. There is one. Godric looked around, though he knew he wouldn't be able to see this fox that he could smell. He began to follow the scent, a mixture of curiosity and boredom diriving his actions. What he stumbled upon slightly worried him. It was a blue and purple vixen in a strange position. It looked like she was hurt! One doesn't simply sit like that, after all. "Excuse me, miss!" Godric called out. "Are you hurt? You must be, with my reasoning, since you're in such an odd position."

Amethyst had been focusing when the strangers voice penetrated the silence. She almost jumped out of her skin, and her fur certainly went into that embarrassingly poofy state that happened whenever she was startled or scared. She looked around and her eyes settled on a bright red and yellow fox.
"Oh dear, you startled me!" She responded, quickly working to smooth out her fur. It was certainly not a position that she had wanted to be found in, but maybe this fox could help her find her way out! Unless he was part of a tribe that was going to chase her off like last time.
She chose to hide her wariness and instead sat up straight and regally, "I am not injured, thank you, but I am lost. If you would not mind I could use some assistance in finding my way out of here. I am not familiar with this area.

"Oh, my apologies, Miss," Godric said. "I had no idea, you see. Do you normally... Contort yourself in such a fashion?" Godric didn't know much by way of talking to vixens. He knew his mentor, Tios, was ever the gentlefox, but Godric didn't have that experience with females. He still wasn't sure what to say or how to act. Only to show them respect. Somehow.
"I humbly accept the challenge of helping you, Miss," Godric said, mimicking the Tios in his mind almost exactly. "But I suppose a way 'out' of here is relative."

Contort herself! Oh she must have looked a fool. Trying to look as composed as possible she wrapped her tail so that it rested in front of her paws, "It is a relaxation technique. I picked it up..." She paused, wondering how much detail was necessary, "... when I was a kit." She decided on being vague. "You see, I was lost so in order to focus my thoughts I attempted different stretches." She must sound ridiculous to this poor gentleman fox.
Her head cocked slightly at the word challenge. Helping her was a challenge? He must think she was crazy. Amethyst smiled in appreciation regardless, "Thank you, that is very kind. You are right, of course, it is relative. I do not know the area very well so to be honest, I do not even know where I'm going! Any direction would be helpful at this point."
