That had been one hell of a night. It was probably what happened anytime Kurma had any sort of gathering. There had been outer space, a strange place called Elysion (which was completely gay, no matter what her teammate tried to convince her), and then some good old fashioned fighting. How long the Senshi had been there fighting the Negaverse, nobody really knew, but when the sun began to rise, all of the surroundings changed, almost seeming to dissolve into that ugly little warehouse where the whole thing had started.

"Sh-sh*********t..." The yellow suited senshi began to try and assess the damage that had been done. Her arm had a decent gash from those stupid plastic daggers the Lieutenant had jabbed into her while fighting. There were various other scrapes against her skin. And to top it all off, the familiar throbbing about her eye seemed to hint that if she were to look in a mirror, she'd see something black and blue. All in all, there were casualties. However, as she glanced about the warehouse, she couldn't help but realize she had been lucky.

Eventually, her eyes fell upon her blind teammate. While she stood there, golden eyes assessing the damage, she simply asked "How ya holdin' up, kid?"

Hugbell had somehow managed to hide for most of the battle. She didn't come away clean, there were a few scraps and what'd prolly be bruising later. But the chibi came away cleaner than most.

She was currently attached to Sailor Iris' legs looking around slightly frightened trying to figure out what happened. First they were in space and it was all awesome, then they were in a pretty... Palace? The next thing she knew was they were all fighting and she was trying to find some place to hide.

"How'd they find us?" She asked quietly.

Though she understood what Iris meant at first, she was relieved when she clarified, if only because she'd seen a head or two turn at it. She briefly scanned the auras around them, seeing brighter lights were injuries were to allow more of the body's energy to spill out in her vision, but nothing further to really say how good or bad the senshi came out of it in total. "How is everyone?" she asked softly, not wanting to cause a scene yet genuinely concerned for those who were injured. "Glad you're alright though."

Not to say she was doubting Iris' ability to handle herself in a fight, that one was just... a bit more chaotic than most, far as she was concerned.

Hugbell though, she was quite relieved to see she was alright. She'd been about to ask her how she was, till her teammate responded to the child's question with a snappy tone. Metis frowned slightly at her before smiling and offering her hand to the chibi senshi. "Sweetie, do you want to sit down? How are you feeling?" She got her mom's tendency to talk affectionately to animals and children, though of course animals tended to respond better to it these days. Considering the situation, she felt it was appropriate enough. She glance around again, this time looking for a proper spot for her to sit, if she desired. Copper waves outlined large pipes behind them sticking out of the walls looked like a good enough spot. Seemed better than the floor, at any rate.

She paused, looking back to Iris at the question, frowning again as she tried to figure out how exactly to respond to that. "They just... appeared." A scowl marred her face as she recalled the sudden appearance of the copper and black waves. "One minute all I could see were the auras of the plants and the rest of the senshi... the next... the auras of the Negaverse agents." It was hard to fight back the chill that ran up her spine, but she did manage to keep her face hard. "I wish I knew where they came from, or how they got there, but..."

Her voice trailed off as her temper flared. It wasn't much, at least nothing like the blonde's, but she did let out a tense breath, a fist balling against her chest. "They said it would be safe there," she finished at last, angry and frustrated as her blind eyes rose to meet gold. "What can we even do now?" She felt horrible saying these things around Hugbell, she truly did. Nor did she expect Iris to suddenly produce the answers. Metis just was, for once, at a complete loss as to what to do and simply saying the first things that came to her mind accordingly.

As Metis began to do the motherly thing of being super sweet to the child, Iris' eyes couldn't help but roll slightly. There were teens who could handle kids, and then there were teens who couldn't stand them. It grew increasingly more obvious every day which category the eternal senshi belonged to.

As her teammate began to explain the situation in an eerily accurate manner, the blonde's head bobbed up and down for the occasional nod.

"...That's th'thing that's botherin' me..." Iris eventually interjected. "Either pinky is a liar... which for some reason, that statement itself doesn't sit right with me... or th'Negaverse is two steps ahead of us." Her fingers were balled up in a fist, and now her other hand was subtly cracking her knuckles, causing that obnoxious little popping sound. Though Iris heard the occasional interjection from the child, she remained looking to her teammate's blind eyes (which really weren't even looking to her at all).

"If th'Negaverse is so damned ahead of th'game... then is any place really even safe?!" It was irritating to say the least, knowing that the Negaverse probably knew more about everything than the Senshi did. All the Senshi got were cats that knew plenty, but seemed reluctant to speak about those matters.

When Hugbell made her suggestion as to what to do next, Iris couldn't prevent her eyes from looking down to the child harshly. If the intensity of the eternal senshi's stare could cause those buttery yellow eyes to melt, poor Hugbell would have been doomed to melted eyes. "...I don't make friends with killers, kid. You wanna do that, go right ahead!"

The tomboy's eyes then once more returned to Metis'. "So yeah... I'm curious as to why th'f*ck th'cat ain't 'ere? What th'f*ck could she be off doin' that's more important than this sh*t?!" At times it would have been convenient to have a portable censor for Iris' foul language.
