hola mi conocidos!
I was wondering what people thought of changing 'shells' for a character. [explaination] so you buy a doll, 'cuz it purty, and its cheap (not a good reason) and you figure, oh he/she'll be a good (insert chartacter name here) but then, some time later, you realized, no, this doll suxxorz! this other one would be a better (character's name again) [/explaination]
so yeah, any thoughts on this topic? ^____^

I've yet to do this because I don't really premeditate characters for my dolls, I just let it happen when I get the doll in my hands. Sure I'll go through a whole list of names until I come to the one that is right and I may have some expectations, but that's it. If you think a certain doll would look good as a certain character and find out later that it doesn't work, then it shouldn't be a big deal to replace the doll.

I haven't done this either, but I know a lot of people do and I see nothing wrong with it. if you don't love the doll as much as you originally did or it's just not working for the character you want it I see no problem with selling it and getting a different "shell" for it. For the amount of money you are spending on them you should make sure you are perfectly happy with what you have.
