 It was a clear night the moon and stars shining brightly. Kamau was out for a reason and that reason was he wanted to meet up with the shadow mare again. Even if he had never saw her or even knew her name he longed to see her or at least hear her talk in the way only she could. As he wandered through the forest the moon followed him and kept him company. He soon reached the vast lake but then suddenly the clouds moved over the moon and it became dark.
He was not scared of this and simply sat down waiting for the clouds to move again. He began to wonder what else might lurk at night be he decided to keep that thought to himself. As he sat there was still a faint glimmer of hope in his chest that the shadow mare would appear. He knew it was not likely as he had been looking for over a week without even hearing her but he still could hope right..?

 Pandora stopped in the middle of the blood trail that she was following. Her hunt had managed to get away from her. It wasn't like her to be so absent minded, but this night was just like that fateful night....the night were she lost her heart. The night she abandoned her sister for a path of blood and anger, the night they were deemed unworthy in their skinwalker father's eyes.
The moon was high in the sky, clouds all around. It was nights like the this, with the air crisp that make her relive that night. Seeing her sister's eyes fill with pain and confusion. Pandora couldn't hunt with a clear head on some nights like this. She decided to forfit the hunt, she'd only been hunting for fun as she had a large deer earlier before the sun set.
She walked along the path, her shadows licked her body like a lively flame as the clouds covered the moon casting all the world into darkness where all the shadows became one. She felt at home like this, but it was this that broke her cold facade and made her wonder where her sister was, hoping she was well.
She walked on to the edge of the tree line where a river was, her hooves seemingly never touching the ground. It was there she saw by the river bank another soquili, male and he seemed to be waiting for someone. She stepped out from the tree line shrouded in darkness with her eyes glowly brightly, the only thing that gives her away. Her eyes and her shadows continued to dance like a flame blown by the wind as she let out a low growl. She was curious of this male, why she didn't know, but she was going to find out.

His ears twitched as he deceted movement behind him somewhere in the trees. Quickly he turned around wondering if this could be the one he was waiting for. He hear was beating fast but he quickly pushed away his emotions knowing he would look foolish if this was not the same one he had met before. His eyes quickly scanned the darkness trying to see if he could see shadows moving as he did with the mare before. The first thing he saw were a pair of bright glowing eyes that seemed to be floating the next thing he noticed was that yes there were shadows but something felt off.
Was the mare he met before..did her eyes glow..? He could not remember at this moment but still he felt odd even though he could clearly see the shadows swirling around this lifeform . He quickly backed up unsure what to do next he wished the moon would come back out and guide him.
He took in a deep breath and took a chance to find out if this was the same mare or just some other horse with the same shadows as her. He looked up and stared into those glowing eyes they seemed to be searching his soul.
"One of the shadows..Are you the one i chanced on before..? The one who refused me her name? The one who hated stallions and would not show me herself..? "
He waited with bated breath wondering if he was making a fool of himself who knew this could be a stallion and not even a mare!

Pandora slowly moved closer to the stallion giving another low growl as he spoke. Being even more curious then before upon hearing his words, she spoke back in eerily cold voice. "One of the shadows, I am. One who not only hates stallions but all worthless walks of life. Had you ever met me before you would not be breathing now."
She took a few more steps forward and let her her form show. Though she walked and breathed with the shadows she could be now seen lighter then they. Her eyes glowed more intensely before as she re-examined his words. She growled again and stomped her still translucent hooves still not making a sound. "You've met another of the shadows?! Who....my mother(she cringed just saying the word) would have rotted your mind at the least.....unless....Umbra" she ended in such a whisper as the clouds moved past the moon, lighting the sky once more where stars did not.
She looked to the orange male, her eyes glow having dimmed. Could it be fathomed that this lowly pathetic stallion had met with the shadow that was her sister?

He heard another low growl issue from this shadow and he could not help but wonder who he was dealing with. He knew now it could not be the one he met before as she had clearly stated if he had met her he would be dead and somehow he was alive.
"So you also hate stallions..I admit i may be worthless to some but to others..I am hope.."
He smiles to himself knowing that everyone has there own options and he knew to himself he was not worthless. He was also glad for the fact this one had not struck out and killed him right on the spot. He did know though by the voice she was indeed a Mare just not the one he was looking for. She seemed very feral even her voice was.
He was shocked though when unlike the other mare this one stepped forward and let herself be seen. The moon had just come out and he shocked at what he saw but in an awe inspiring way. She had fangs and he could bet she was part walker. She had armor on and what looked to be a saddle on her back. She was semi transparent and he could see the shadows clearly misting around her shadowy body. Her eyes though seemed to have grown even brighter and now she seemed to be studying what he had said. He heard her growl again and saw her stamp her hooves into the ground as if deep in thought.
He was shocked though when this one calimed to know the other shadow he had met. He did not think he had met this mare mother for she would of been much older right..? No the one he talked to must of been the sister..so that meant..her name was Umbra.. The he met before was Umbra and this was her walker sister.. This was the one who had left with her father who showed potential.. Strangely even though the pieces were coming together he was unafraid for what the future held.
"You know the other shadows! So this is a meeting of fate after all..I have been waiting for a shadow mare you are not her but now i know you are indeed related to her..I do not think it was your mother i met though.."
He saw her cringe when she mentioned her mother and hoped he would set her off by mentioning her once more. She must of had as hard a life as her sister..He now longed to hear her side of the story as he was indeed falling for the other mare Umbra..He noticed now though her eyes had stopped glowing as bright and it seemed she was considering something. He waited for her next move entranced that the one he was talking to was a shadow as well...Did Umbra look anything like her sister..?
"My name is Kamau..i believe the one i met was your sister Umbra.."

Pandora studied this strange stallion, she gave him points for being brave, but she also knew she hadn't killed him yet because he seemed to have met Umbra and as cold hearted as she was, she still cared for her sister, in some way or another. She had a use for this strange stallion.
"Kamau, knowing my sister may have just saved your life. If you must know my name....it's Pandora. Where was it that you encountered my sister?" She knew that Umbra wouldn't want to see her and that she must have hated her for leaving her with Angee, but she thought it better, that she was safer for her weakness at that time.
She stepped closer to the stallion and observed him up and down, noting his strange hoof adornments, made to look like paws. Ridiculous looking things, that matched his faux mane. This stallion seemed stranger and stranger the longer she looked at him. If it weren't for him knowing some news of her sister she'd kill him to save him from further embarrassment and at the thought she gave an inward chuckle, never letting a weak emotion show.

Kamau was unfraid of what may happen when this mare left or grew bored. He knew she was part walker and from what she had said there was a good chance this meeting would be his last but that did not scare him. He would defend himself or try if it came to that he was no coward and would never run from his battles. He did hope that it would not come to that but he kept the thought in the back of his mind as he glanced at her very sharp long fangs.
"Pandora..i am glad my life has been spared till this point in time..I first saw Umbra in the forest but i never saw her she never let me see her..I have been waiting hoping she would come back for weeks i have looked. It seems though today my luck has changed as i ran into you. "
He studies her more closely trying to figure out if umbra looks like her sister. Did she have fangs to..? She knew Umbra was not a Walker and that did relive him but even if she was he would not give up on her. He had sworn an oath to himself and that he would keep. He did not bow to Pandora though as he thought she would think him foolish she did not seem the type he would show his knightly personality to.
He stayed still when he saw Pandora take a step closer to him her shadows still swirling around her transparent body. He still did not fear though he would play her game if he had to just like he had done with Umbra though with her..He had not really played along she tried to scare him but he never let him emotions show perhaps that would be best here to.
