"C'mon, I can't wait to show you, its going to be soooo fun!" the loud grough voice of the black, white and green flamed lion as he bounded around ahead of his new friend and mate. His smile spread across his muzzle and nearly touch each of his ears. The wind blew his thick mane about his face as he slowed to wait for her. She was still blind, but her strength and the way she was able to get herself along only amazed him even more. However, he still trotted back to her side just encase. He didn't want to lose her so quickly after all.
The sun was perfect and the heat was just enough to make a splash into a cold pool of water heavenly. And that's exactly what they were going to do.....well with a twist. Whilst on one of his adventures, Vi had stumbled upon a cliff that slopped down into a small pool of water, creating the perfect slide. He couldn't wait to jump in, especially with her. "Its not far now, its going to be SO fun, just you wait till you feel the waters on your fur, its to die for." he smirked and bounded a bit ahead to peek down over the side. It was long and it was steep, but that only made it that much more better. The water was perfect, full and luscious, wide enough to fit the two. This would be like a date of sorts, and the more Vi thought about it, the more he began to blush.

 "Heh, alright Vi..." Vuxta felt the earth with her whiskers as she walked, not the best posture to acquire, but it was how she was able to get along.
She'd spent a good several moons with this lion. At first she was convinced she couldn't fall in love... Especially not with such a childish male. The more days she spent with him, the more comfortable she felt. It wasn't long before she found herself completely consumed by his charm. Her quest finding her old pride had long been dropped, because there was no where else she'd rather be in the world than with him. Vuxta never thought she'd ever say things like that... and the more she thought about it, the more she was convinced it was a vivid dream.
Knowing the man and his crazy stunts, Vuxta was rather suspicious about what this was really going to be. But she might as well humor him. "So we're going to a pool, then?" She inquired, flicking her tail happily as she accurately nosed his cheek. "I love swimming."

If Vi could blush anymore, he would have the instant she touched her nose to his fur. He loved the way she could make him do that, and he just wanted to pounce on her and snuggle her sometimes. But he had to remind himself that even though she was a tough gal for getting around blind, she still was female, and still entitled to some delicacy. In stead, he chuckled and nuzzled her back, his big bushy mane gently fluffing both their faces. His green eyes gazed into her blind white ones. At first, he always felt a pang of sorrow that she couldn't really see him, but now that didn't matter. All he saw was a beautiful lioness he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
As his grin grew wider, he twined his tail with hers. "Good, then you'r going to love this!" he bellowed in his deep yet wild voice. He took a few paw steps back, gently coaxing her back with him. "What you have to do, is just take a run and leap and slide right down into the water! Its real easy." he said, making sure they were both lined up. He wanted her to go first so he could make sure she was safe on the way down, and yet he wanted to go first so he could catch her at the bottom. Oh the agony of choices!

Vuxta enjoyed the overwhelming fluff of the lion's mane. She was enveloped in his scent, just the way she liked it.
"Just.. just run and leap?" She asked, hesitantly feeling the earth with her paws. It wasn't moist like it should be near a water source... "That sounds simple enough... But how do I know when it's time to leap?" She smiled, ears swerving towards the lion as her inquisition strengthened.

Vi's smile spread across his thick bushy muzzle....until she asked him the question. "Uh...well...." his brain panicked and scrambled for an answer as he eyed the lioness of his life. Then it hit him. His eyes light up in excitement. "I'll tell you when!" he grinned and puffed his chest out in pride. Such a smart lion he was. "When your near the edge, i'll shout, JUMP, that way you get some nice air! It also makes the slide on the way down funner!" he nodded his head, a few strands of his mane falling over his face. A deep throaty chuckle escaped his lips. "You trust me, right?" he paused, reflecting on a rather serious thought and moment.

Vuxta gave the lion a subtle nod. "Alright, that sounds easy enough." A chuckle escaped her lips and she pressed closer to the male just to make sure he was still there. "Wait.. Slide? I thought we were just going for a swim, Vihrea." Vuxta smirked and pretended as if she didn't know the whole time there was something deeper going on here.
"Of course I trust you." She said, and pined to look in his eyes to confirm it with her confident expression. Though, that didn't quite work out the way she wanted it to.
"I'm ready, Vi. Just tell me when to jump, and I'll jump! Let's do it!" She was still a little cautious. How far would the fall be? She pushed this discomforting thoughts aside. After all - she was confident she could trust this lion with her life.

Vi's tension fled as she did in fact trust him. He kneaded his paws against the dirt and let out a small laugh. "Didn't I mention this tiny cliff slopes down making a perfect slide into a nice pool of water?" he snorted and lowered himself into a crouching position. He decided that he would jump with her, at the same time, so that they would slide down together. He helped position her, like on a run way before counting. "On my mark, I'll count to three... we'll make a short run for speed....and ill shout jump when we jump!"." he said, pumping his shoulder blades as he prepared for the leap. He really did expect her to do it with him, but if she didn't at least he'd be at the bottom to catch her like he first wanted too.
As he took a breath, he began to prepare himself mentally. "One..." he counted in a slow and steady voice. "Two..." he breathed in and flexed his claws. "Three!" he shouted, gave her a soft tap to tell her to start running and charged ahead himself, making sure to keep up with her. Once the moment was right, his smile spread across his entire face as he shouted.....
"JUMP!"

Vuxta chuckled. "Tiny, Vi? I have a feeling your definition of tiny is a little bit different from mine." The smirk remained as she adjusted for the dramatic launch. Black toes gripped the dirt as her muscles writhed and tensed. The anxiety skyrocketed as her imagination convinced her what kind of ridiculous stunt she had gotten herself into. Regardless, Vux refused to chicken out. She still had to prove she could do anything regardless of her sight.
The lioness's ears flickered and her tail was as still as stone as Vi began the countdown. One. Oh crap, what am I getting myself into. Two. Holy gods above, I am going to die, aren't I? Three. Goodbye world.
Vuxta launched herself into a sprint at Vi's signal, and sped across the grass and dirt. She left all of her anxiety behind in the clouds of dust. With the sound of the male's voice, Vuxta leaped and began her aimless fall down the slope of rocks and dirt. She screamed, her voice more full of excitement than anything as she touched down on the slope and began to slide.
After what seemed like an eternal descent, the lioness stumbled into the water and floated to the top to gasp for breath and laugh. Veins racing with adrenaline, she shouted and tried to thwack what she assumed was Vi who had just splashed beside her. She shouted accusing words at him in a playful manner, but she was much too frazzled to form anything that made logical sense.

"WHHAAAAAAAA-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" the lion shouted as he flew through the air in complete bliss and pure utter pleasure. That feeling never got old. All the adrenalin rushing through his body, coursing from his toe tips to his nose simply sent him over the edge - figuratively and literally.
As he splashed down into the water beside his love, he felt her paws plop him on the head as she both laughed and screamed, uttering incoherent words at him. All he could do was laugh more as he sputtered and gagged for air, his sides aching as he slowly pushed his paws under him, moving them to a more shallow part of the pool so they could catch their breath. "Great.....wasn't....it...." he panted, his eyes locked on her features as his smile still huffed and puffed about his face.

Vuxta was grateful for the shallow water, and she flopped onto her back with a splash as her head rested on a nice pillow of grass from the shore. She panted and tried to catch her breath, but the fading adrenaline made her restless. She smirked and gave Vi another plop to the face as he spoke.
"Great." She said between desperate breaths of air. "I've never done anything like that before... It was fantastic." She squirmed towards the male and rested her face in his soggy mane. "We should do it again... as soon as I catch my breath." She said, snuggling into the wetness of his fur as she giggled. She went silent as she rested, a huge smile growing on her face. She could definitely get used to putting up with this for the rest of her life. Her old life would have to move on without her. "I love you, Vihrea."

Vi smiled as his mate curled up against his body. He snuggled closer to her warmth, his tail curling around hers in a protective manner. As she spoke, he began to feel his face heat up ever so slightly, as a different feeling exploded in his tummy. Like butterflies fluttering around inside him. His smile grew as he nuzzled her. "And I love you as well." he said before shutting his eyes for a short nap.
