What music do you associate with halloween most? Be it a genre, style, artist, song, anything.

type o negative
creepy ambient-noise/horror music from video games like silent hill
and a bunch of the cheesy classics like warren zevon's warewolves of london, the monster mash
cheesy 80s metal like iron maiden and stuff have very halloween-themed songs too
unfortunately i also associate bad rap and hiphop with halloween, cause i used to go to my friend's party every year and thats all he'd listen to...ie: so the people who liked that kinda music would dance

Actually, a lot of Patrick Doyle's work sounds pretty halloweeny
I think a lot of dark classical kinda gives off that vibe
To me at least =)

It all depends on the song. Some bands have only one song thats Halloween-ish.

A lot of Danny Elfman/Boingo/Oingo Boingo's music makes me think of Halloween... Especially "Dead Man's Party"
Boingo is one of my favorite groups... Their music would be good for Halloween parties!
"Midnight Syndicate" is perfect for Halloween... It's a group that does music which is sorta like the stuff you'd get on one of those cheap Halloween Music tapes they sell, except it's 500 times better! It is similar to soundtracks from horror films except it doesn't go to any films... I have 3 of their CDs. They would be perfect for a haunted house.

My point was as a viking, you can get a job at Disney in the Norway area of Epcot. neutral
