UPDATE: I've done it guys: I've perfected the art of PSX emulation. Turns out the CD ROMS suck in comparison to ISOs. Of course I'm still going to play it legal for awhile and only download ISOs of games I have sitting at home, but still, yay, PSX emulator with an easy screencap buttion! heart
Due to the lack of activity in every guild I'm in (I'm dead serious, it's like no one likes guilds anymore >:C) I've decided to make our guild unique from everyone else by totally making the LP subforum a major hotspot! By doing so, I hope people will stick around and even spread word, I guess it's a step different from any other guild in Gaia (that I'm aware of) and people like when things are different, right? Kay, so without further delay, I present to you my list of games I am going to do!
PS: You're more than welcome to help out and do your own LPs, I'd be more than happy to see other's work (providing your life permits it Dx ). F12 is the standard screencap button on most emulators by the way.
-7th Saga -Adventures of Musashi' -ActRaiser -Bahamut Lagoon -Breath of Fire -Breath of Fire II -Breath of Fire III -Breath of Fire IV -Chrono Trigger -Chrono Cross -Dragon Quest V -Dragon Quest VI -Dragon Warrior VII -Earthbound -Final Fantasy (NES) -Final Fantasy II (NES) -Final Fantasy III (NES) -Final Fantasy IV/II -Final Fantasy V -Final Fantasy VII -Final Fantasy VIII -Final Fantasy IX -Fire Emblem Dark Dragon -Fire Emblem Gaiden -Fire Emblem Thracia 776 -Genso Suikoden (using the actual disc is crap, hopefully ISO is better) : ( -Genso Suikoden II -Golden Sun -Golden Sun the Lost Age -Lufia -Lufia II -Mother -Mother 3 -Ogre Battle -Romancing SaGa 3 -Sa-Ga -Sa-Ga 2 -Sa-Ga 3 -SaGa Frontier -SaGa Frontier 2 -Secret of Mana -Seiken Densetsu 2 (first one is Secret of Mana) -Seiken Densetsu 3 -Soul Blazer -Star Ocean (SNES) -Star Ocean a Second Story (works, but conks on cutscenes) -Tales of Phantasia (SNES) -Tearring Saga (once the translation is complete and I find out how to patch PSX games D; ) -Terranigma -Treasure Hunter G
Striked- currently not compatible for the PSX emulator, but hopefully time will fix that, PSX is a rather new form of emulation anyway.
Of course this list is like set me for a life of LP'ness and may be impossible to complete in my youth (if and when I next get a job and do stuff again), but hey, at least it gives me something to do, makes me feel like I'm doing something productive with my video game career and something to hopefully entertain you guys! Oh yes, and I hope there are some goodies in there that you have no idea about, as that's what LP'ng is mostly about for me: educating people on games they missed. : P
Note: If the list is missing some numbers in the series, then either: A: They are in progress/completed on this very guild B: I don't display interest in that particular title and will leave that up to another LP'er if they so desire. C: It's on a system with a complex emulator/I'm too dumb to operate it.

If you do Sailor Moon, I'll do Hamtaro: Ham Hams Unite! Because that Hamtaro game is excellent, innovative, and the best licensed game I have ever played by far.
Chrono Trigger is an awesome choice.
And I've always wanted to LP Golden Sun. But I would love to see you do it too, especially if you haven't played them (I'm actually replaying Lost Age for the third time as we speak). Maybe I can bust out Dark Dawn on an emulator since I own it legally and stuff. If you do LP it, though, I'd definitely advertise it in Gaia's Golden Sun Guild.
And man, you have to LP the original Mother (Earthbound Zero). It's like the original Dragon Warrior, difficulty and all, but set in 80's America. Then do Earthbound. I think you would really love it.
But hold off on Mother 3 for a bit. Because everyone should play that game on their own. It's one of my rites of passage. And one of my top five favorite games of all time.

Oh my good Lord, yes, yes, yes! Make sure you make little animated .gifs of Hamtaro doing his little poses if you can, that game was one of those "buy on a whim" games that I bought in my childhood and loved. I know Chrono Trigger may be overrated to some people (I had this friend in high school who was obsessed to prove that it and FFVI was), but I think it would be fun just due to all the fun effects to make fun of and of course the unique storyline that haunts me to this day. For Golden Sun and Mother series, you needn't worry about me to jump right into them as I need to play through them first as I haven't played either (seen a little bit of my brother play Earthbound a long time ago, but that's about it). For now, I'll just stick to the Dragon Quest and early Fire Emblem titles and do a standalone non series game when I get tired of the two, although once I get to Thracia 776, I don't think I'll want to stop. I'm on my sixth playthrough by the way, Lara abusing. If you've been lurking around FEF you probably know why. >_>

Hamtaro: Ham Hams Unite! was my littlest brother's first video game that was officially his own. My parents got it for him for his birthday, since he was seven years old at the time and really liked Hamtaro. I watched it a little too, admittedly. It was a harmless little show that was nice to come home to after school. If my big ol' Mr. T-looking pal from high school can enjoy Hamtaro, so can I. Of course, I got mad at my folks when they got the game, since licensed games are never ever good. But when my little brother game to me with the game asking me for help, instant history was made. You know? I think I will LP it. That game needs moar love, and it's full of replay value and secrets to find. It would be a good first game. As for Chrono Trigger, it's a classic, and I think it's a solid game no matter what. It falls a little to SNES RPG syndrome, but other than that, it's solid. I like it a lot myself. Oh your and your Thracia. I've been eavesdropping on you and FD going back and fourth on the Lara. If I ever get a voice recorder, I might just do a live LP of Thracia 776. I just have this image in my head, since I'm admittedly not the best at FE, of whenever things go really, really wrong, I'll speed up the video while everyone is dying and I'm loosing, while the gonk music plays in the background.

When I was a kid, Sailor Moon was the one "anime" besides Dragonball Z (which I totally watched too), but having two sisters and one brother, my sisters got the TV more often, so it was all Sailor Moon which explains of why I want to do an LP of a magnificent SNES RPG of Sailor Moon. I think I was in my early teenage years when I bought Hamtaro, this was due to the fact that at the time, like most North American children, I was a total weeaboo and still enraged that they canceled Sailor Moon so I had to resort to other/any anime I could get and Hamtaro was no exception. Anyway, I really do look forward to seeing it, I'm sure it will bring back buckets of nostalgia for me. I know, my passion for FE5 is undying. Dx Truth be told (please don't tell anyone), I don't really use Lara or any Thieves for that manner in any FE game, I just figured that Lara would stand the best chance as she has absolutely no way at all to screw up her stats with all the levels she gains and somehow, it's gotten to this. D: Of course, after gaining a level or two with her, it's apparent she is just a perpetual Thief, but hey, don't wanna disappoint FD and agree with him too soon, eh? : P Also, I'm pretty bad with my FE women, after playing through FE11 again, besides Maji and some other guys, my army was to my recent discovery, comprised of women! And you needn't worry about music playing when things go wrong, FE5 has their own gonk music that plays when the enemy is overpowering your troops (I really need to do a number count of how many times this song has graced my ears). D: I really would like for you to experence FE 5 though, but do play/read FE4 first though, not only is it the main story (FE5's a gaiden to FE4, but I'm sure you knew that) it's a storyline masterpiece, then FE5 is the gameplay masterpiece.

Your secret is safe with me. wink
I'm sorry to say that I haven't looked at your FE4 LP for a while, partly because I wanna play the game myself first. I know that I sound like a total FE tool, what with me parading PoR around (though as I said, I don't think it's the best in the series. Just my favorite). I will definitely play FE4 and 5 sometime, but I can't at the moment. My laptop has been being very bad, and until I can clean it up, I'm not messing with emulators. What emulator do you use again? For SNES games?
I need to play FE4 without any of my crazy FE buddies back at home talking my ear off about it and showing me the same video sixty times out of context.
I've used to have a GBA emulator that I got for Mother 3, and I have a DS one that was recommended to me sitting around.

It's fine, hopefully no one has spoiled anything for you, I know I would have punched the person who spoiled some plot progressions for me. For SNES, I use 9x, I know people like to use znes, but if taking screencaps, 9x is so much easier and it has less clunky interfacing and whatnot. I still haven't used a DS emulator yet, I heard they haven't refined any to perfection yet and I have an R4 (I only download Japan only games though, I try to support gaming companies the best I can by buying physical copies), although I really would love to use a DS emulator sometime, it would be fun to LP some DS games (FE11 H5 mode without Zagaro and Wolf to spite people, anyone?). : P

I've gotten screencaps for my first hour of FF VI (finally!) It's going to be the SNES version, the one that I played when I was in (junior?) high school! Either way, it's been years before today since I have emulated this game. D:
It's my favorite retro RPG of all time though, and the first RPG I've ever beat. I can't wait to show you guys what I've gotten so far, along with a whole lot more.
I also might LP FE 7, if time permits. That's a big crossing of my fingers though.

At the moment, Nom's Fire Emblem Thracia 776 LP will be placed onto a standby due to some recording issues. I do plan on getting to it, but right now I am just needing to get software so I can record while playing the game.

Sorry for the delay in response, it only jogged my mind to say this as I was adding ActRaiser to my list, but have you tried DeSmuME? That's the DS emulator I use and it works fine, although it does turn my PC fan on, that's about the worst it does I've found, and it even has an easy screencap button. Other than that, I look forward to this, I plan on doing an FFT one, mainly because I loved FFT, and FFTA, providing no one beats me to it. xD

Well, I'm sure there would be no harm in having two LP's of the same title by two different people on here. I do have intent on getting to an LP of Advance Wars- Advanced Campaign S Rank mode one of these days y'know!
As for FF, although I'm not too terribly fond of the series myself, I want to do a "break the series" kind of LP where I exploit all the equipment and tricks (non-grinding, mind you) to cheese each and every title so badly that most bosses and enemies can be defeated before they even get to attack.

I thought you said you loved FF V though, and VI too! Was I wrong when I remembered that?
Also- LPing the same game that someone else already LP'd kinda gets redundant, doesn't it? I know our styles are different but I just don't know if anyone would want to read/see two different screencap shows. As for videos though, that's different because people have different voices and they're probably doing challenges or something like we do in FEF.
Anyway, I digress. Along with my first list, my second list is all I plan to Let's Play for now.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2 ? ? = If I can find a DS emulator. * = Yes. I'm serious. Might I recommend the No$GBA emulator, yes, I know it's called "GBA" and not "DS," but they've been supporting DS Games for a long time. I've been using this one personally as well, just look how to set it up and you should be good to go. As for Mother 3- I would like to do a Let's Play of it. It's a great game and while I do agree you should all play it, while I do agree you should play it yourself, sometimes you need to see how amazing it is to get your foot in the door. On another note, I may end up purchasing some video equipment to record video of games I play through my television, allowing "Let's play Insert Xbox 360 title". That would be a blast- I always wanted to do my own reviews on games since IGN took a dump on Lost Planet 2- which was and still is an amazing game...
