- Electronic Music -- Kay has always been into music. Her father was a music teacher at the elementary school where she grew up so it has always been around her. Early in high school she got into the Techno/Rave scene with her friends and was introduced to electronic music. Ever since she’s been addicted to it and creating it herself. In high school she started experimenting with digital music programs and started getting her work out in the world. She isn’t famous by any standard but she does have a nice following on her website and sells her music online to fans. She hopes to make it big one day and have her music playing in clubs all over the world. Lately she’s been obsessed with Vocaloid and their technology to create digital voices so she can add lyrics to her music and keep everything digitized.
Shopping – Clothes, shoes, jewelry, whatever, Kay will jump at the chance to go shopping for it. She loves digging through sales and looking for deals and finding that perfect whatever hidden away somewhere with the prefect price tag on it. She likes to keep up her ‘look’ and is constantly looking for new things to add to her wardrobe and things she can modify into prefect wardrobe pieces.
Costume Design/Creation/Cosplay – Along with shopping Kay loves creating her ‘stage’ persona and loves dressing up in costume so she doesn’t have to be herself. She first got into making ‘costumes’ when she started in the club scene so that no one would know who she really was. After that a few friends showed her Cosplay and while she didn’t really get into the shows or games too heavily themselves she –loves- creating and wearing the costumes. She loves pretending that she is someone else for a while. Learning how to make costumes lead quickly to her making her own clothes so she could have exactly what she wanted. ( Usual Style
"He/She/It ... god damn it" -- A play on her cosplay hobbie Kay was born lucky and with the help of her taste in fashion can blend into either gender almost perfectly. She has a very small chest so unless she is wearing next to nothing it's almost impossible to tell she has breasts. Because she finds it amusing how confused people get over her gender she plays it up and will respond to either gender reference. She will also dodge the question if she's asked straight up which gender she is unless she -really- thinks you need to know.
Virtues:
- "Just Let it Slide" Forgiving – Kay is the least likely person to hold a grudge against anyone. She is very good at seeing both sides of things so while she may not agree with whatever someone did she can forgive them for doing it and move past it. She figures that being angry at someone will just hold her back from being happy herself so it is easier to forgive and move on. All someone has to do is explain why they did something, give her a sob story, or just admit they did it and she’ll let them go and go back to things as if nothing had happened.
"Married to the Music" Driven – She strives to be a good composer and to keep learning more and more about creating digital music. She spends hours upon hours playing with her programs, writing new songs, playing with old songs to look for inspiration, and trying to get better. She really wants to be someone in the music scene and will go without sleeping and eating if it means she can crack some new level. She likes feeling like she’s accomplished something and that somehow, even in a small way, she has changed the world.
“I’ll always be there " Dependable -- Kay is one of those people you can always count on to be where you need them when you need them. She hates being late to places and hates feeling like she let someone down if she doesn’t do what she promised them she’d do. She always does what she promises or if she can’t do exactly what she promised she’ll be sure to warn you and make up for it big time later. The only thing that can tear her away from working on her music is her friends. No matter what they mean the most to her and she will drop everything if one of them needs her even if it means she is going to loose out on something herself.

Flaws:
- “Masquerade" Secretive -- Kay got into the techno scene early on and the best way to fit into the scene was to look, and act, like everyone else. Unfortunately this was also at a time in her development where she was easily impressionable and she lost herself in it. Kay lives for building personas around herself so no one knows who she really is. The face her fans see, the face her teachers see, the face her friends see, the face the strangers at the club see, but almost never her real face. Kay lost herself in the need to fit into whatever situation she is in and now fears that no one would like the real her. She doesn’t let anyone close enough that they could find out and keeps people outside a wall and talking to one of her masks. Her worst fear is that someone finds out who she really is and then hates her because she isn’t who they wanted or expected.
"I know they didn’t –really- mean it." Easily taken advantage of -- Because she is so forgiving she is often taken advantage of. Friends and family know they can pretty much get away with murder and she will still forgive them and still be their friend/love them. This means she often ends up being used by her friends and walked over because everyone knows she won’t do anything about it. It also means that she does whatever she's told to do without questioning it or thinking about it (see compulsive flaw) because someone of authority told her to do it so it -must- be the right thing to do, right?
"It seemed right at the time" Compulsive Nature -- More often than not Kay does first and thinks second. Something sounds like a good idea and she just jumps straight into it with both feet. She doesn't pay attention to the fact that some things could be dangerous or get her killed. She just -does-. ((This is why she found herself with the Negaverse. Save the world from evil alien invaders? Right on!)
